this is the best power rangers episode to never be
+Mothabrainable just what i was thinking
Definitely
Mighty Morphan Rangers guesting in an episode of the Monkees...!
But i miss some cheap explosions.
I think they soraypainted a antman mask silver
I will blast this song at Dairy Queen until they unleash the King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard Blizzard.
The composition is 70% acid to 30% ice cream
My local DQ has a newfangled jukebox. I must see if they have any Gizz.
I 100% support this
hahaha wtf
priceless comments, found here
Somewhere a mental hospital has seven empty beds.
Right?? I just found these guys through a friend. I actually like this crazy shit!!!!
@@lauraflaherty3215 embrace it!
Actually, there happens to be 355 dislikes. You're gonna need more beds.
Looks like Australia finally caught them 😭
Nah, it’s just one massive bed that they all share
Imagine hiking with your family and seeing this
Hiking somewhere West of Melbourne by the looks of it?
"Dad what did you put in those granola bars"
hahahaha you freaking joker
@@Guppyg53 copious amounts of LSD kids.
enjoy.
It’s a nice day in Australia. The sky is blue with a nice wind chill to offset the subtropical heat. You are enjoying the natural beauty. Then, in the distance, you hear a guitar riff. As you approach. You see 7 guys inside a massive Vulture costume/parade blimp. They wander the brush decimating any Power Rangers villain they come across.
“Another day in the Land Down Under”.
I'd still love to believe there's this vulture abomination sitting in some dad's garage somewhere with no explanation.
It slumbers...
Somewhere in suburban Melbourne this thing is in a hangar somewhere
I would love to find out who stole it
It got destroyed.
I'd like to meet this dad
I would pay to watch an entire Nonagon video movie
Nonagon Infinite Jest
Fuck yes.
Just pay to see them on tour. They are coming around the US again after corona. I went last year and saw them in person for the release of Infest the Rats Nest. It couldn’t be a more perfect concert experience.
Here it is
ruclips.net/video/0rXwufFoJYw/видео.html
video movie
"nah mate, no one will notice we just spray painted an Ant-Man mask"
for real!
well, with the wasp charachter after i guessed that was on purpose, and that the vulture is the spiderman villain, but who is the red and black dude?
that's racist, man
I believe that is the invisible-faced man
waddiyatalkinabeet
they clearly have way too much fun making these videos
Who wouldnt.
THE FUCK ARE YOU TO SAY WHO CAN HAVE TO MUCH FUN, HUH?? ASSHOLE??
Actually when asked about this video in particular they absolutely hated filming it.
It mostly had to do with the Aussie heat and making it stifling hot inside the vulture, plus how awkward it was getting in and out of it between takes.
Honestly I don’t blame them. The thing looks like a bitch to handle. On top of it being mobile as well.
Yeah there were something like 14 people stuffed into that contraption, and poor Stu was balanced on a single thin metal bar in the neck wearing the entire head like a backpack.
Unfortunately, they all perished and were buried at sea. RIP in piss
The sheer silliness of this video is an absolute delight. Much better than videos where people take themselves so seriously.
These guys are the best. In a dreary music landscape they definately stand out.
nice!!!
The sheer plot is amazing, first they get infused into a vulture and fight the power rangers while still playing music
What do you mean. I based my religion on this video.
@@Artsificial What else am I supposed to do now?
Vultures live off the refuse of dead things, like Gatchaman, Power Rangers, and 80s nostalgia. This band may be more meta than most people yet realize.
0_0
the band is more meta than people realize; but what you just said is a MASSIVE reach
They even made a '90s demoscene-inspired music video for "Robot Stop."
I dunno, vultures get a bad rap, but they are actually very sociable and easygoing ... they can afford to be sociable, they don't need to fight over food. I love to watch them soaring together or hanging out in a tree. I think we humans could learn a thing or two from them.
@@soup_is_good_food5743 based scavenger enjoyer
I love this barren, rocky realm where strange monsters and warriors fight each other for no apparent reason
that's Australia for ya
Is it the You Yangs?
"so the video, will be a vulture fighting random enemies, i really liek that that a concept you can do a lot wi-"
"yeah mate, except were like part of a bird, right"
"Wh- wait so you guys all wanna be photoshopped into the birds?"
"nah mate we're all part of bird see, like were all a bird, it can be a big bird if it makes it easier"
"can you do it for 60$"
"we can do it for 30$, a box a tim tams, and a kebob"
"Quicker if you throw in a new guitar. Doesn't matter where it comes from. The more strings the better."
I lost it at kebob.
The timtams line got me 😂😂
Omg tim tams and a kebob would be so good right now 😯
@@dumpsterbassist Preferably Japanese.
make a movie
+Teds Something tells me they are
They put on Fb that they're making a movie
called it
+Michael Cotter shut up! are you serious?!?
they should make a vintage like 70's movie about this whole music video
*Is this why Ant Man wasn't in Infinity Wars?*
This is what he was doing in the quantum realm
anyone else notice the characters that appear represent songs off the album? theres 'robot' stop, big fig 'wasp' and invisible face. so damn clever
The invisible face dude kinda reminds me of the things on either side of the mountain on the cover of in your mind fuzz
Holy s*** you’re right
I love that they sound like an actual Late 60s/Early 70s prog band and not recording with modern technology. Amazing
Idk they sound a little too low quality but it would probably be less popular if it wasn’t
@@giygas9305 They sound like the VHS release of a 70s movie.
Nonagon infinity was recorded with 4 iPhones in a square.
Paper mache dream balloon was also recorded in a shipping container.
@@giygas9305gtfoh lol
@@giygas9305I understand what you’re saying. It’s like when someone prints a shirt badly so that it looks “vintage” but it’s just not hit twice lol. It looks cooler but is technically printed worse. Same idea, I feel you. That said, fuck yeah King Gizz 🤘
The Big Fig Wasp is my favorite super sentai hero
Their music is just so mind-blowing and different from anything else out there. I love how they mix different genres together to create this totally unique sound. The energy they bring to the stage is just unreal too. So thankful to the dude that introduced me to King Gizz, you should check out his band it's called The Doublejumps
the dark crystal netflix series is looking pretty good so far
see a lot of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Power Rangers and Pokemon in here
Haha I was definitely thinking of power-rangers
Dragon Ball as well.
Gamma knife has more of that Monty Python/Wickerman/Hammer Horror vibe
It's called Tokusatsu it's not just a power rangers thing. Lots of Japanese shows are filmed this way.
and alejandro jodorowsky
This is it. The best music video ever.
this one, and the one your profile pic refers too ;)
yeah man :) my favourite from the 90's
it is
fr fr!!
2:02 I cannot muster the strength to properly convey just how fucking incredible this is
God I wish I was alive when they made music, music used to be so cool.
wut
...you know that the music video and album was made in 2016? They’re still making music, and they even released five albums in 2017.
Issa joke
Too bad they got eaten by a dinosaur
Lol..you're still alive man!!
0:50 Best part of the video
I agree
wiggle
I like the fact that this video, unlike 99% of music videos in the present, has an unpolished look and you can see they had a lot of fun filming this.
They hated filming this video with a passion and have said so. It was not fun, the Aussie heat was blaring, there were roughly 14 people stuffed into the thing, it was almost impossible to get in and out of between takes, was absolutely stifling, and poor Stu was balanced the entire time on a single thin metal bar in the neck wearing the entire head contraption like a backpack.
It was the opposite of fun, they despised every second of it.
@@orbitalbutt6757 lol. lmao.
I think they spent all the money on a giant vulture
@@orbitalbutt6757 That's exactly what I thought, I can read from their faces they are probably thinking "ok we went foo far this time".
@@orbitalbutt6757 that’s even funnier

Yes, until Robot Stop came out.
eh
Ike Hall until lord of lightning vs balrog
lol hey dude
I could tell they were Australian because they spent piss all on the video but loved it
Close the like button mates... we reached the goal! #420
Reminds me to also watch The Chats
Honestly couldn't improve this with all the money.

2:04 - 2:14 is one of the best guitar riff/solos I've ever heard.
@Brendan Anthony its not good because of complexity, but understanding of how to place it
How about the riff motif from Muse's Plug In Baby?

watching this in 20 years will be like watching a music video now from the 80's haha classic whackness
loving the psychaedelicness yew
This already looks like an 80's music video somehow (except for the much better quality of course). But I love it. Makes me think a little of RHCP's very weird early music videos.
lyrics:
People-vultures
God approaches
Final hearing
What else have I got left to spew down?
People-vultures waiting to begin
Deadly ulcers feeding on my skin
People-vultures waiting by my stage
Wild dogs escaping from their cage
People-vultures
God approaches
Final hearing
What else have I got left to spew down?
People-vultures
God approaches
Final hearing
Disappearing
Tainted voodoo
Headless guru
Final head-spin
What else have I got left to spew down?
What else have I got left to spew down?
What else have I got left to spew down?
What else have I got left to spew down?
What else have I got left to spew down?
People-vultures crowding at my door
Parasites are eating more and more
This is one really cool video but my god those are some dumb lyrics.
Tjaksssssssss
@@chesspunk489 its really weird and hard to understand but they def thought those through quite a bit
Wait, I thought it said, "What else am I gonna fucking do?" I don't hear "What else have I got left to spew down" at all

really?
Nonagon Infinite Jest?
This needs to be an end boss in a guitar hero I swear to god
my theory on the bad guys are the first one being robot stop, the second one is big fig wasp, and the last one being mr beat
Last one is invisible face

Those are songs from the Nonagon Infinity album
Sure why not?
the most unconfident person on earth Nope. It's Sleepdrifter.
Third gamma knife
0:55 favourite moment when the band goes maximum loudness. This is indeed the best video ever and that evil dude at the end they named: Invisible Face Man. Classic.
All the “villains“ are from the Nonagon Infinity album. Robot Stop, Big Fig Wasp, and Invisible Face
This is one of those songs where 9 out of 10 people you show will be like "Hey this ain't half bad". And of those 9, 3-4 of them will say "can you recommend to me a few more". And of those 3-4 there will be precisely 2 who will become lifelong KGLW fans. A higher success rate of band fan conversion than any other current band on the planet. The research is in.
This was one rabbithole i was happy to fall down in. RUclips recommendations are rad. \m/
This video is magnificent.
Cancel the 2017 Oscars, give them all to the forthcoming Nonagon Infinity movie
Lovely to see a band doing psychedelic music. This so reminiscence of late 60's and early 70's.

this feels like a lost monty python episode. beautiful
Just gotta say thank you for being! Your music is the first reason in a bloody long time that I've wanted to go out and by the vinyl! Doing yourselves and Melbourne proud!
About time someone started a cool band! I need more lizard gizzard!!!!
This is the best king gizzard music video, change my mind
I remember thus song, used to play ot all the time in 2016 cuz it was funny. Havent heard it for a wheile
1:10... I love how this guy runs across 3 football fields just to get rekt lol
Great to finally see Ossie Ostrich step out of Daryl Somers' shadow
This is lovely. There are bands like this that seem to love Steve Hillage. I wish he would get together with them all and do a tour. These guys are truly inspired and make such unpretentious and glorious music that drives me out of the gloom and into the spacey-freaky light of day, MY day, and the best day, yet!
This has got to be one of the most bonkers videos. Love it!
Love everything about this...the energy, the clip, the song!!! Thanks for leading me hear RAGE!!!!!!

I come back here now and again to remind myself of how much of a masterpiece of a video this is
This is the best music video I've ever seen in my entire life
These guys do more with paper mache and a couple video cameras than most bands do in a lifetime.
The camera work is so satisfying.
always paint houses to new music. Very productive today.
0:50 he looks so happy
Just when i start thinking rock can't evolve, i trip over something like this!
This is the video that got me into the band. A giant vulture with 7 dudes sticking out of it, traveling the land, playing music, batting different enemies with cosmic powers? Fucking sold, I'm all in.
Today I had my final battle with Dr. Faust - the politrician from Faust 2 and this is the Soundtrack. Thanks a lot guys!
I'm so glad I discovered this band. I as a kid in the Modern Era who loves Rock Music, I've been waiting for a rock band that will crave my hunger for a modern rock band that is actually good. I can't wait that in 20 years from now, kids will be rolling their eyes to this as it plays in the car.
Long Live King Gizzard
This is one of my favourite music videos to ever exist. It's right on up there with Twisted Sister's "We're not gonna take it" video.
I took LSD one afternoon and came across this video on RUclips. Watching it felt like 3 hours going by and this is how I met KGLW ❤thank you guys
