- Haven't seen this on RUclips, and I think it kind of deserves to be out there. Now, I mostly love Danzig's old music (why yes, you don't need to ask, I am crazy--or maybe it's because I strayed from the kitchen)...
...but you just don't treat The Germs like that!

It's the rhythm section. That's a late 50's / early 60's surf style rhythm. Being that Glenn employed a lot of doo wop in his Misfits / Samhain days, it's almost a homecoming.

this is fucking great.
I enjoy this track alot actually, i liked danzigs industrial tracks too, i love that he showed he could even make other genres which still rock.
I am not a fan of Danzig industrial era, but I really like this song. It is very dark and creepy, the low guitars and vocals are very nice and that drum beat is like the beatles but very evil.
Also u can try circle of snakes 🙌
@@ivancruz3522 Thank you dude, I said I am not fan of the industrial era, not that I have never listened to. I know circle of snakes, but comparing with the first III albums is unfair, they are unbelievably good

Really wish he did an album of decidedly more punk vibed stuff - this is awesome.

Never was a Danzig fan per say. But a massive Germs fan from the late 70’s. I have to say this cover is pretty bad ass. Does it sound like the Germs, no and the fact that he made it his own is how great covers are made. This truly does rock and it’s dark and that’s why I dig it. ⚡⚡⚡

Wow-I'm not a big Danzig fan(of course Samhain and Misfits;different story) but I may have to look more into this band beyond the first record. This is an amazing cover of an amazing song-well fuckin done Glenn

This is a great cover, I like this better, it's more focused, more melodic. The original is great too though, chaos
I've listen to both and have to say I prefer this version more than the original. it just sounds darker and heavier with his voice as a nice touch, sorry germs fans.
I don't think it was even on Glenn's mind other than as tribute. no one can sound as manic as the germs. so I love this
Patrick Bateman I enjoyed this version a lot as well,With Danzig you really have to explore every song cause is so many treasures and then there is some doozies it's hit and miss with them,You just have to take the plunge and jam out more albums front to back!!!
