Another tip for those NOT going to The National. I am getting great deals on eBay from selllers who are trying to build up their cash reserves for the big show. I am confining my searches to listings that have Best Offers. I have been surprised that some of my aggressively low offers were accepted with little or no countering. Money talks, as they say. More now so than at other times, the seller doesn't want to see your money walk.
Great episode! Good breakfast, a couple fig bars and a couple bottles of water gets me thru the day. Funny I didn't see you in Atlanta, I was one of those few customers walking around. Chicago was a lot better in 1998.
I’m a big collector and love shows.. but I simply wont go to the national becuase its in late july the most HOT part of the year…. I have no interest in travelling and moving around in that heat and humidity…. so I never even think of going to the national.. if it moved to spring or fall I’d go for sure….
I have not interest in the national due to my comment below……. adding to it.. I’ve hard so many people say how HOT it is in the venue and alot of odor.. I hate heat.. so wont go. and cannot imagine walking around in a show being hot and smelling the odor.. I’ve seen videos on people saying PLEASE USE EXTRA DEODRANT… lol..

Why is the National not held in Atlanta? Its more centrally located for all and easy in and out.
