Cracking unit! My 2008 works fine with all the integration, their is an updated loom with it now 👍 personal opinion I’ve never liked double din units, so was over joyed to have this setup now
Very nice looking integrated unit. The price is very high though. I'm using the Pioneer SPH-20DAB. It's a single DIN unit that works quite well in the Puma. Not quite as nice but 20% of the price of this Stinger unit. You get pretty much all the fancy features (OBD, GPS etc) but you use a phone as the screen. It also lets you use the buttons to control the phone, e.g switching to GPS app. I was also able to set the backlight colours to nearly match the Defender's green. I can recommend it for a low budget solution.
Not hung up on the vents or the clock removal. Love the button layout. If only they could make this to just fit other 2DIN decks that might be closest to perfect for this particular upgrade. The other fascia conversions are also quite expensive...why is that?
My 90 was built before the defender name was added, unless I powered a Spinal Tap amp any radio would be drowned out and there’s no space in the dash as it stands for one anyway
Hi All. Does anyone have a reputable dealer in the UK (Serving Canada) or in Canada selling the Stinger Heigh10 system for a 2007 Land Rover Defender? Thanks.
I just upgraded my speakers and bought a good phone mount for my 2012 110. With all the app options available on the phone, I don’t need this (stupidly) expensive stuff. Apply the KISS principle people, and remember why you chose to own a Defender!

It does tell you to re use the clips on the MUD instructions, it does also tell you that the OBD info is only available on the later models
That's handy

Thats a good shout. For a later Puma this unit is awesome. But I do like the way it looks like it was fitted in the factory.
Can you install apps from app stores?
Car Scanner app connects to OBD and allows dashboard of gauges to be added for live data

Adding the ISO plug - does this provide any of the fancy tech instruments (rpm, temp, incline etc) I have a Puma 2007.
Could there be an upcoming HEIGH10 software update for the 2007 to 2011 Defender models?
What is best and latest for a 1999 TD5? Is there anything like this for the older defenders?
You could fit a double din centre console from MUD Uk and fit an aftermarket android unit.
raptor engineering also make a double din centre unit
I wonder if you can use the gps for tracking!
Is there a similar unit for a 2006 D3?
Yes, have a look at this video. Great unit. ruclips.net/video/SFyM6RyRcnc/видео.html

It too shabby! I’m more a fan of the more typical double din units, but this is a nice alternative.

We have lost the vents. It's not the end of the world. I live in Dubai :(
