Everyone was commenting on the ( denied ) kiss on New Years Eve, but this Bae stream was really uplifting. Her thoughts on making a dream board, her journey on wanting to work on VA. Her dancing skills, and how everything tied up together on her Vtuber career, even if by accident.
I remember from the Spelling Bee stream when she thought the camera wasn’t on them & lets out her “true” self. Yeah 2024 must be very tiring, hopefully she can take care of herself. Having a good mental health is the groundwork for things we want to accomplish
2024 was a really rough year for Bae, and I'm so glad that she's taking care of herself this year. For her later resolutions, after talking about the hypothetical Bae sololive (hype), working on even more music (hype), and finishing all of the Yakuza games (well...), she'd also start working on her own vision board and take more pictures of herself. Overall, she's emphasizing self-care while still branching out to others both on-stream and in real life. I wish I could've discovered her sooner, but I'm so glad to be witnessing her now. I'm looking forward to everything the Idol Rat does this year.
I did always think that one of the reasons for the lack of collabs and not participating in big events was due to her being so busy with everything, dance, singing, world tour, moving to Japan etc but I didn't think it was more than that. I do feel bad that Bae had a miserable 2024 depsite many fun and eventful highlights. Thankfully it seems like Bae is going to focus on taking care of herself this year which makes me so happy to see because, she seriously needs rest and focus on her health a lot more after everything that happened over the past year, so here's hoping for a much better year for our lovable rat idol.❤❤❤
I think it’s okay to just take part in things even if you don’t feel like you are adding much to it beyond your presence. Just being there and having fun with everyone is still a lot, actually.
I hope she succeeds in the things she desires. I think it'll be great for her to collab more, get more memories and connections and experiences. I personally am a hopeful individual that prays its not constant collabs, for me as a viewer as much as I enjoy the interactions in collabs I also like the solo streams equally as well. And towards the end of last year especially I felt overloaded with the amount of collab content going on between members. But also thats personal preference and not necessarily the same as what Bae herself wants. I do hope that alongside Bae everyone can succeed at the goals they wanna set for themselves. I know its hard to get started and keep going, but the way I see it is you'll be investing in future you. Maybe thats learning to cook/trying more dishes, a new hobby, personal exploration of self, many different things are possible. I personally plan to learn several languages over the next few years. So I hope my brain can handle that. Good luck to everyone!
Too tired->lack of sleep->depressed Thats a normal situation without sleeping so you will be fine when you treat yourself nicely and sleep well. Don't push too hard to yourself bae
Well this kinda explains why i didn't watch her much last year. I really loved when she initiated all those silly collabs with all of holo. And i did notice she was a bit, idk, less genki this year. So understandable. I hope 2025 is a good one. Does show there's lotsa pressure behind the scenes (again)...
The fact that someone as multi-talented as Bae can still have imposter syndrome really puts into perspective that it's important to make people feel seen when they do something well. You might think "Of course that person knows she's great, just look at her!" But you still got to say it to them regularly.
That’s not how it works, but your heart is in the right place. Imposter syndrome happens despite “feeling seen” look up what imposter syndrome is for a better understanding of what exactly it is. The best example I can give is, imagine you know 5 languages and can speak them all fluently and interchangeable without issue, you practiced and learnt these languages over the course of 5 years, you are 25. That’s amazing. You personally feel you are not that amazing and you could be better, you had to work way harder to learn all those languages and you find yourself to be only barely passable, especially when you compare yourself to your siblings and best friends who all speak at least 5 languages and on average 7 languages, fluently. They could do this by the time they were 25, but they didn’t seem to have to try that hard to reach that peak at all, and even the ones who did made it further than you. This makes you feel inadequate by comparison, like you are an imposter, when people tell you “wow you’re amazing! 5 languages at 25? Cool!” You’re thinking about your friends and family who are far more impressive and did it with more ease. Feeling seen has nothing to do with it. Bae has an amazing older sister who she emulated a lot growing up and was constantly compared to, even when she did well and was told she did well, she personally compared herself, it’s hard to not do when the shining example is right there. I forget which vod it was, but Bae noted that even most of her hobbies and likes are because she was just following her sister. I don’t suffer the same level of imposter syndrome, but I had a very similar environment, insanely talented siblings, family and friends, no matter how good you are, you know there’s way better and can’t help but compare. Being “seen” doesn’t help, it becomes one of the causes. Like, what do you know? Are you a prodigy in the same field telling me I’m doing great? It’s like that sometimes. Not always, this is simply an example. Edit: also sometimes when peers tell you that you’re great, you feel like they might not 100% mean it, as in, they’re being genuine, but saying it out of kindness. Gura has mentioned having imposter syndrome too, it’s fairly common in this industry, where they are seen so much more than us.
You know this makes a lot more sense now. I remember how Enreco was like 2 streams. I hope she can stay true to her goal and take care of herself more. Therapy sounds like a good option for her too
this answers a lot on why she wasn't present much on the EN collabs either, glad to hear she's focusing on this again, and i hope she will takes care of herself too this year 🎲❤️
That's the difficult part about imposter syndrome. No matter who are how many people are telling you that you *do* belong, if you're not convinced yourself, it's hard to believe others. I hope Bae takes good care of herself first before she goes out of her way to do collabs.
@FoxYinnyy Yeah that's fair. I just want her to realize that she has earned her place. Maybe she needs a senpai she respects to reassure her, I don't know what would help. I never really felt imposter syndrome but it seems common in fields like this. I guess the most similar thing is probably being weirded out by hearing your own voice played back to you, it's a difficult feeling to come to terms with.
This sounds great and I hope Bae lives up to the goals she sets for herself! I just want to give a bit of cautionary wisdom as an older millennial; I've yet to see any year be objectively better than the last, for as long as I've been alive. The years don't get any better, the only thing that can get better is ourselves.
Yeah, I think social media in general has a negative bias, in that it advertises the negative because we have a survival instinct to notice the negative. But we have to try cultivate a positive bubble, legit, because there is more negativity than any 1 person can endure, so we have to avoid being destroyed for no gain.
I really loved those solo streams where she pushed herself to beat the Soulslike games especially because she isn't seen as the "gamer" of Promise. I think a majority of Holo streamers would've just quit, but her tenaciousness really made me appreciate her more
Seriously everyone: DO take mental health seriously (that and sleep which hugely impact each other). You are not weak for falling mentally ill, it happens to the best of us.. heck I'd easily believe a statistic if it told me better people are more likely to get hit by mental health issues. Be honest, yet kind with yourself and your situation. If you are already here at the bottom.. first of all greetings stranger, I wish your journey to continue upwards, secondly try and accept that it's not your fault. Even if there were arguments that scream at you otherwise, those faults lay in the past. We are playing poker with a hand of 3-4 cards instead of 5 yeah for a royal flush we'd first have to regain our hand size, but even a three of a kind can be a winning hand.. Heck highcard can win you a hand. So don't give up! Now to try and practice what I preach.
It is already pretty huge to share this so I know she'll have a much better year. Let's look over her, because she also got new kouhais enjoying her performance with this face: 😲
Theres gotta be a reasoning behind this, but why are like all vtubers a weird combo of amazingly skilled and borderline workaholic while also having impostor syndrome? Is there some strange situation were impostor syndrome leads to ambition and then skill? Or were they so cool they got nerfed cause a confident person with their ambitions would be to powerful?
Hurts to hear both Bae _and_ Fauna talk about imposter syndrome. Bae is absolutely talented as hell, she's an amazing dancer and her singing is incredible.
I havent watched the stream but if she's openly discussing Imposter Syndrome, depression and other negative thoughts then I hope her family, close friends and colleagues in Hololive see it and give her support. Hell, if she takes a break from her job altogether to find happiness thats completely preferred over the other end of the stick leading to the big S word. Surprising as I thought she'd had a great year both in terms of singing/dancing and streaming, but you just don't know whats going on inside peoples heads.
If Bealz has imposter syndrome & low self-esteem, I think the jokes made at her expense need to stop. We all need to be kinder to her, praise her & REALLY suck up to her every now & then to make her happy.
I noticed this in another vtuber’s New Year’s resolutions stream too but good goals are specific, achievable, one knows how they are going to achieve them and they have a time they should be achieved by. Instead of just “be kinder to myself,” how is one going to be kinder to themself? What specifically is one going to do and how often? Instead of “take care of health,” how is one going to take care of their health? What are they going to do and how often? Instead of “more collabs,” how many collabs by what time?
For some reason this reminded me of Sayu and Rennie. Like, a good way to destress in a company is to have a company who'll be comfortable with you just vibeing around and whom you'll also like just vibeing around you. When you don't want to be alone, but don't really want to do anything either, or if you want to vent. Maybe Bae needs her own "background waifu"? There should also probably be less (if any at all) business involved in that.
Yeah, she is the youngest HololiveEN member iirc. Fame and this kind of stress is not good for mental health. I don’t think I know anyone from showbiz that has been famous while 18-20yo and didn’t ended up as an addict of some sort
FUWAMOCO will be very disappointed in you for even making this comment. you really call yourself a ruffian with that attitude toward bae's lack of duo collabs with fauna, despite knowing what FWMC'S motto is towards everyone? please do better next time
From a rough skim through her holodex page, she had more EN collabs throughout the year as opposed to JP collabs despite not collaborating much in 2024. I don't know where you got this from but it's not nice to spread misinformation.
@freshanchovies4785 did you check how many cancelled streams for en compared to JP? Of course she'll have more en she's en afterall. But she makes more time for JP than en
I don't get it why there's so much outsider that can't getting the thought of "My oshi collabing more with other branch".... Like bruh the Baerats are fine and always enjoy REGARDLESS whoever she collabed with... It's really getting annoying And yes, she's still collabing more with EN in this year Alone
I want Bae to care of Bae as well! We like a happy Bae!
Same! I'll pray for both kronii and bae this year as well, and other vtubers alike and unalike in company and indie ver

Yeah that hit me hard, I mean it was kinda funny but you could hear how tired Bae was, almost like a "let's get this over with"
What's the stream is that from?
@@Thee_Znutz The Spelling bee from Ame
@@umvideoacadadia3835 I'm assuming you mean this part in Ame's Spelling bee stream? 02:42:15

Take it easy on yourself this year Bae!❤️
Here's hoping for a healthier Bae in 2025! Take care of yourself our favourite rat!

Bae talkin' about the EN girls like she's not part of the EN girls... noooot really able to dismiss the allegations, is she? :))
3 will be difficult if 2 is important to her.
The fact that someone as multi-talented as Bae can still have imposter syndrome really puts into perspective that it's important to make people feel seen when they do something well. She played Overwatch 2 with the girls and seems to have enjoyed it ! I also loved her enthusiasm when she was playing Dota on Fauna's stream.
You know this makes a lot more sense now. I remember how Enreco was like 2 streams. I hope she can stay true to her goal and take care of herself more. Therapy sounds like a good option for her too

Bae needs to hear that she absolutely does belong. She's not an imposter she's the real deal and GOOD at what she does.
That's the difficult part about imposter syndrome. No matter who are how many people are telling you that you *do* belong, if you're not convinced yourself, it's hard to believe others.

Glad to hear Bae is going to focus on herself and take care of herself this year, she deserves to be happy ❤
I hope Bae takes care of herself
Nothing left to do except to step back and accept, you need to take care of yourself first before others.
2:00 We need a telephone game collab with Flow Glow and Justice
Bae was overburdened with so many projects and there was no reason for her to do this.
I really hope she takes better care of her health from now on.
She needs a hug.. a loving quiet hug.
0:36 So what Bae wants is other talents shaming oversleeping like they used to do.
2024 was a good year for Bae, but yeah it was pretty rough as well. Here's hoping 2025 is much better for the Aussie rat.
There were a lot of collabs with streamer Majima though...
pls be kind to her. lil rat who moved to a new country with no friends or family and is doing her best at work. she deserves respect and kind words. ❤
bae this en pekora, 0 collabs 2024
Didn't she then oversleep today? Amazing 😝 I hope she lets herself enjoy collabs again this year though
Hurts to hear both Bae _and_ Fauna talk about imposter syndrome. Bae is absolutely talented as hell, she's an amazing dancer and her singing is incredible.
When you are surrounded by like minded and hard working folk it's really easy to let comparison steal the joy from your effort.
Seeing how rough it's been for the hologirls in 2024, with all the graduations and burnouts, I think it's best if they take it a bit easy in 2025.
Reducing sleep is not a good idea. People in general don't get enough sleep.
and who says about reducing sleep?
She overslept her very first stream of 2025 lol
Le cobró factura el JDON😂😂
I havent watched the stream but if she's openly discussing Imposter Syndrome, depression and other negative thoughts then I hope her family, close friends and colleagues in Hololive see it and give her support. Surprising as I thought she'd had a great year both in terms of singing/dancing and streaming, but you just don't know whats going on inside peoples heads.
They not collabs at that point then you're just hanging out and playing games having fun with the people you know
Bae, you must go _based_
ngl it was kinda worrying watching her cry in one of those streams.
I’m thankful she joined Holo GTA.
I know it's a long shot, but I'm really hoping that Bae can do a dancing collab with AkiRose someday.
Mmmm deveria tener esas metas para mi también
More collabs? LEAGUE OF LEGENDS
~ Gigi probably
If Bealz has imposter syndrome & low self-esteem, I think the jokes made at her expense need to stop. We all need to be kinder to her, praise her & REALLY suck up to her every now & then to make her happy.
Yea, I can see those things connecting in that specific way.
Also, pardon the cliche but, if you're experiencing Impostor Syndrome, you're doing fine.
First step is to reduce intake of alcohol and get a same amount of rest everyday. Take care Bae!
hoping for more bae growth in 2025.
Rest assured Bae, we will be there for you, my queen
Tomorrow 😂
This Australian woman is over-thinking this stuff way too much.
maybe she works too much. which is why she feels bad

I think bae is already suffering from depression, hololive should pay attention to this.
that is...a lot more overthinking than I thought Ms. "Chaos" was engaging in
"everything will be ok" lmao
Yeah, she is the youngest HololiveEN member iirc. Fame and this kind of stress is not good for mental health. I don’t think I know anyone from showbiz that has been famous while 18-20yo and didn’t ended up as an addict of some sort

I mean she didn't even collab with Fauna although she's leaving. She's just selfish

"I wanna take care of bae. both physically and mentally."
Referring to yourself in 3. Person is surly a sign that the she is mentally well.
'Shying away from EN Collabs'*
she always made time for JP Collabs, same with Fuwamoco.

Well yeah because she lives in Japan so it's the same timezone for her...
