This was very informative. Not too fast, not too slow, doesn't skip any steps. I've been using DR for two years, and I'm only seeing this stuff for the first time today. Thank you!
Thanks so much! I think you may also get interested in my color grading course: colorgradinginsights.thinkific.com/courses/masteringcolorgrading it’s very systematic and includes the footage for practice!
Fantastic tutorial! I am now deepening my study on color correction and color grading and you are amazing in creating simple tutorial that are very effective
Thank you for this. I would love to see a tutorial on low light video color grading sometime if it's not too much trouble. On occasion I do some filming at night and I have a heck of a time with color grading it.
Hi Kasia, thank you for the video! Looking forward to your video about CST! I have 2 questions, please! 1) Some youtubers create 2 CST nodes, one in the beggining and one in the end of the node tree, but the way you did it seams much easyer. Can you please elaborate shortly what is the diference between the 2 methods? And 2) Is there an importance of the sequence of the processes/nodes? (Exmpl. You did 1,CONTRAST then 2,BALLANCE then QUALIFIER ECT. What hapenns if one does the 1,QUALIFIER then BALLANCE or EXPOSURE ECT!??) Looking forward to your answer! 👋🏼
Hey! Thanks so much for the comment! Your question nr 1 is very good and as I’ve mentioned in the video - it can be very confusing as Color Management is not an easy topic! Please wait for my tutor about it but basically, we need to use more CSTs when we work in non color managed environment to first remap the clip to the right working color space and then to remap it to the output color space. And regarding your question nr 2 - in general yes, as adjusting the exposure and balance is part of the primary color correction and the rest is a secondary color correction which means that its an “extra” step in color grading. I hope this helps for now!
@@colorgradinginsights Great! And when you say “Primary Color correction”, what els exept for Exposure and Ballance would you say takes part in this fase, what els is “Primary C.C”? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for color grade my life with your tutorials!

I have googled but cannot find the answer to what color space the iPhone 14 Pro Max uses. Do you know where I can find this info? Thank you!
HI, how to make the UI the same like in the video? mine in the middle between scopes and color wheels there is a UI called Curves-Custom
I record my fits on the laptop so it’s easier for my viewers to see what I’m doing! It all depends on your screen!
