    Thank you !! How to do? Running mail server with A ( web hosting), now moving to the business mail service provider B . How to change mail setting without losing any data in Thunderbird? I did but its overwritten and lost data.
    Please guide.

    Thunderbird backup is manual process or it can be automatically done ?

    What if I want to use the same email account but I need to change from Pop3 to Imap ?

      I assume it won't move any emails. But just to be safe, you can move them out to a local folder (like in this video) and then move them back.
