when you start listening to opal vessel so you can have some nice music to study for finals to but then you end up not being able to focus on studying because the music is too good:
Don’t know how I ended up here, but this is some of the best stuff ive heard in a while. It’s like the longer I listen, the better it gets… Amazing album.
Love this channel, and I'm sad you don't have like 100K+ subs. It's also sad that a lot of YT music in this genre finds its way onto other YT channels, some of which have more subs... It's hard to tell who actually makes what, and who just steals it. This is also true for the visual art/illustrations often used on vaporwave, lofi, etc. videos.
I really appreciate the nuance of your discussion about dialects and accents. Language is - and always has been - a constantly changing and evolving thing. While it is arguably important that language and vocabulary are recorded so they can be archived and remembered, we should not expect them to be permanent. Also, agreed. Let's bring wimples back. You're rocking yours.
Study how drum and bass was created on old Akai S-700~1000s. It will give you creative ideas on how to break down drum loops with just a simple tool box.
This album is one of your very best. Timeless. For me this captures the feeling of healing of both body and mind, growth, progression. A very positive album. My favorite track is Robur, by a mile.
Can anyone tell me where the woman speaking in the first minute comes from? I've listened to this so many times, and that first track is my favorite. Largely because of that intro.
If I use synths it's usually just electrax or nexus tbh, Id use omnisphere if I had another drive tho, besides that just manipulation of early 90s samples
@@ceylonesewarmonger6186 sample flip old 90s drum n bass and layer it in VSTs or if you use FL Studio make pads and melodies with whatever VSTs you like, grab the amen break sample pack and chop drums in slicex and make the track like 170bpm but then stretch and slow it and just do the normal vaporwave thing to it, both methods are what I'll usually do to get this sound (I use FL Studio but Ableton also has its own ways to chop and stuff)

seriously tho, these drum chops are insane
Thank you! 💜💜
literally forgot to eat when I was on my way to the kitchen because the music felt so good
When you retarded.
This is like, one of those unsuspecting wells you fall into that eventually leads to a mine of gems. It's tranquil and meditative.
TRACK 02 Latebra makes me emotional. I meditate the meaning of my existence and ponder if I have the power to transform my fate. To change.
Bien Hecho 👍

My favorite Opal Vessel release so far. Thoughtful, murky, and engaging. The cover art is brilliant.
I love this dark ambient jungle vibe a lot, something i've been looking for for ages. Thanks!

Just came across your work and with every release I'm hearing of yours, I'm more and more impressed. Many thanks for all that you do.

This is great. It’s inspiring.
I might be slightly off here, but it looks like that woman is in _posta di donna_ - Guard of the Lady.
Fitting if so. And very striking!
