"communication skill" is one of the common problems among us, unfortunately, our society appreciates more in "language speaking and pronunciation" rather than "proper dialogue expression skill". Good parenting should encourage "feeling and expression" communication skill with their kids. "Right View, Right Understanding, Right Speech".
I truly agree that change have to come from ourselves first regardless of any obstacles in any relationship. The first inclination when we have problems with our spouse in an argument is we tried to change the other person to our views but when we adopt the attitude that what we need to change is ourselves, our expectations are more focused and less stressful. When we win an argument, remember we also lose tremendously.
