Large fixed knives are my first love so it is easy to appreciate this. In twenty years, it would be on someone's gone forever list and folks will see it in a different light and go searching in the secondary market.

I respect you folks’ desire for knives that are practical for daily use and carry, tasteful, don’t alarm company, fit easy in the pocket, etc. That ain’t me. I’m tacky AF. I wish RRR, Frost, Marbles, etc would make more giant lockbacks.
      Cheers

I have carried it into the field a couple of times in place of one of my fixed blades, and I have to say it’s growing on me. I like that I can slip it into my pocket, which I can’t do with a belt knife. I also like the swing guard - I like a guard on my fixed blades because I’m wary about my hand slipping up onto the blade, and I use this one exactly like a fixed blade. My only complaint is that the handle is long and a bit slick for my taste. But I do enjoy having a belt knife that I can carry in my pocket instead of having it hanging off my belt, especially when I need to stop at the grocery store or something. I guess it really boils down to intended use.

The fuller on the blade looks like the same fuller they have on some fixed bladed RR. I have tried a smaller swing guard knife and personally, I didn’t care for it. The Reserve RRs are well built. I’m thinking some of the BIG name mfgs might take second notice. If it were a BIG name knife it would cost several hundred. Lots of folks fear CHINA blades… the minute they see CHINA it’s a deal breaker. If this SWISH we’re mfg here the US… it would be crazy expensive. Fit and finish is actually better than some of big names out there.
I like this one… SMkWs $74.99….put one back… like someone mentioned earlier… once their gone- their gone.

Sell it to me JB. Think I’m going to grind down and round off the back side of the guard to see how it goes.

Rough Ryder Reserve has been great on quality but a lot of the designs are just bizarre. Early on I thought the line was going to be amazing but lately I am turned off by the designs. Rough Ryder in general should stop doing double nail nicks on blades. They should have just done the match strike or just done an elongated fuller.

if it wasnt a swing guard, and it didnt have the dumb cutout in the blade, it would be a great pocket sword

@@BigRedEDC it has potential, its a shame they went weird with it, i mean, size like that, if i was the one designing that big boy of a knife, i would have done a kephart styled spear point with just a nail nick, no guard

@@BigRedEDC i still dont get the point of the giant weird shaped cut out in the blade of the swish, it just detracts from the design, the reserve line is meant to be higher quality classier knives, yet the cut out makes it look tacky

I don't like the looks of it, the size of it or the swing guard. Really there is just nothing about this knife that I do like except that it made me laugh. It is just ridiculous IMO. I really hope A.A. was not the designer of this one. Thanks for the chuckle JB.

wish it didnt have such a dumbass design of a blade, if this was a full flat grind like a swiss army knife, id have that when i take the grandkids camping, but they ruined it with pointless design elements that aint even needed
