I appreciate the positive feedback that you guys are giving me on this, it means a lot. I started doing this series because I wanted you guys that are truly on the FamBase to get to know Clayton Thomas, and this was how I'm doing it. Thank you for those of you that are inspired and remember yo, FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS ALWAYS, don't ever give up, it's gone be bad, you'll be scared, get over it and go for it. #TeamCT is more than a catchphrase, it's a movement!
Your story is what my late Grandmother use to always say:"Do the best you can on your end and God will handle the rest of the way!" From one Detroiter to another, keep it up Bro Bro!!!!!!!!!!
I knew that I had a lot of respect for you and your hustle. You are not only funny and CLEAN. You are also one of the hardest working people on YT. But hearing your story fam, my respect for your work ethic could not be higher. Onward and upward brother.
Clayton Thomas what High school did you attend? I didn’t even know I was subscribe to a “ what up doe” kat!... I came out of Northern High. Congratulations brah.. but only a Detroit kat will have a cut like that with .. it says East Side 😂😂
Grew up in Detroit for 24 years went to Coolidge Elementary and Cody High School. Detroit is a great city with decent people it’s just a vacuum of a negative energy and situations that can suck you in very easily if you don’t stay positive and fight your way out. Respect CT. You beat the cycle. Keep them videos and laugh coming.
manofsteel33 It is I was doing some work today downtown off Temple and Cass and seen a bunch of hipster riding those scooter down the street. Lol. Downtown is turning around still need to have the community come together to salvage and maintain the city around downtown.
This really inspired me. I can tell how genuine you are about helping others get to where you are, I’m a Christian comedian and raised in the 90’s. Your comedy is legit!!! Keep up the great work fam!
That used to be true...but not in the social media era... Its alot of people blowing up here because of their social media presence. Especially those that are making music.
@@remycuble8572 the only thing i see actually stopping people from making it here is a lack of ambition.. Those that possess a strong ambition usually do well in life.
Yes, however, ya'll gotta remember I was one of the first new generation cats out here. I moved to LA then BOOM movies came to Detroit, then BOOM social media blew up. I've been repping detroit since before it was popular, since before them shirts came out, and I kept having to hear the "it's so cold in the d" song lyrics. lol
Ct fam, this is why you have such a fambased family. You open up and take time to communicate and let everyone get to know your roots, your foundation, who you are, what your dreams are, and what steps you have to take to make those dreams and goals a reality. Keep doing you fam!!!!!
Bro i have NO interest in being a comedian but watching this video and all your videos just proves how blessed you are! This shows that nothing comes overnight but by believing in your dreams and stepping out on faith will get you where you wanna be! Keep up the good work brother
CT I think anybody that didn't hear what you said has to be small minded. I'm not trying to get at anybody directly or indirectly but I have found myself in the comment section campaigning for artists that are getting exposure through you and the rest of the crew. When someone comments that we seen a video already on someone else's channel and ask why should I watch it again on yours? I tell them watching it on their channel brings us to more content that we might not get exposure to, and gives them inspiration to keep pushing forward. You just solidified what I been saying. I don't think people look at the hard work, and dedication y'all put into bringing us quality content. Hearing the grind that you went through hopefully anybody following in those footsteps knows it's not going to be a cakewalk. But the super cool thing that I took from all this is that you paid it forward. Hearing all the comedians mentioned I remember small RUclips clips of Corey Holcomb, Tiffany Haddish and others from years ago and people see them now and be like oh they're new. No they not. They are getting the exposure now because someone plugged them in and when they get in that door they put the little stopper on the door to hold it open and be like "I'm just going to leave it open cause we're going to be here for a while". But brothers like you and women like Tanj put people on because you have been through this before and know it's not easy and aren't insecure at all to be like nah I got to get mines first. This allows them to see the steps it takes so they know to hold the door as well. But Alright good talking to you there bwoy. Keep up the good work ✊🏿👃🏿and tell everybody y'all Fambase said WHAT'S UP
CT, really, thank you for sharing a piece of yourself like that, telling your story. You truly did not have to do that. I can only imagine how many people in the FamBase are motivated to make that next step and follow their passion.
I just watched the video and I gotta say that your story can be best defined with the phrase "There's beauty in the struggle." All things your experience molded you along the way through the ppl you met and so forth not to mention your moms giving you guidance through the bday card. Salute
Wow !!! That was an awesome story, CT. The trials and tribulations of the Road to Success, brother. The one issue that I have is,....why/how can someone thumbs down this story. Come on, people. Experience are what make life. Gotta love it. Keep on pushing, brother.
Another Detroit native ! Detroit has so much potential, I hope it continues to grow and get better . I moved to Texas right after high school . That will always be my first home but I had to leave personally to grow more and do better .
this is inspiring. I'm a late bloomer when it comes to finding a new dream, but just hearing about this journey reminds me of when I was in my early 20's until now(40) and reassuring that I'm battle tested for this new venture(going from software engineering to running an after-school program). Really appreciate you opening yourself up to even share your story.
Awesome!!! Love the history behind how you became the (humble) superstar that you are today. Would like to see more videos like these from you and all the CT crew. #teamctallday
BRO!!!!!! Thanks for sharing your journey!!! I really enjoy watching the other talented folks in your circle. You guys are inspiring a lot of folk and giving us a good laugh at the same time. I am a african american graphic designer and have been blessed to be working in my field for 25 plus years after being told how tough it is to work in the field. My father was correct when he told me it would be hard. But I wanted to give it a shot and I am happy I did.
We all better had received a whole lot of confidence and will power to never give up. He was chasing his dream at 21 when prob a lot of us were chasing ass but it's never too late. It's not about how you start but how u finish and keep going
