07:30 “Many of us have their own character, and our own ideas. So it is harder to get brainwashed!“
We need more of that spirit in the world.
i literally love that the older guy feels so comfortable in that scene with younger people.. just fits in like butter on a pancake. you love to see it.
Yeah man...
beautiful how they stopped consuming skate content and started having fun with it in their own way, developing their own skate styles and cultures.
You really had to explain it, didnt you.. smh some people!!
Yeah, we watched the vid too...
i get it though, i wish i could remove myself from it sometimes too just to have fun but it's hard when your local is always full of people tryna learn the hardest tricks and most popular stuff
Wazz explain mean explain it @@nemonym711
I got to skate with Chopper and his crew for the best part of 1998 while I was in Osaka for a working holiday. Chopper is the radest guy I have ever met. It was the best year of my life. I can't believe how famous he has become. It would be so cool to go back and hang out again. One day
Red Bull has a gold mine on their hands with this series.
id subscribe the shit out of this if it werent owned by a massive corporation whose only intent in the world is to increase profits at all costs
They should sell it to Netflix, or maybe start working on a special netflix season or something.
right its too sick!!!
@@21centdregs everything you do already supports corporations bent on making money at all costs but of course, you do you
@@sepg5084 i don't live off the grid self-sustainable, so sure a certain percentage of my resources end up in the hands of large corporations. that doesn't mean that we should accept the commodification of things with such underground roots as skateboarding. apathy is a bitch but at every turn i strive to support local and DIY enterprises with ethical outlooks and practices. but hey, you do you as well
This is not about skateboarding! Is a life deep message, is about creativity in its pure way , about freedom from toxic consuming, they create all and hand make it , at the same time they build a super strong connection by being different , is pure gold , maybe the most inspirational skate video I had see ,in almost 35 years!
Bro they’re playing Nujabes at the end took a sec but I recognize that beat for sure Luv Sic pt 2
Fitting right!
incredibly sick part, they mashed the live drumming with the beat from luv sic
They fucked my whole soul up bruh i felt sad and happy at the same time 🤣
Ui00
That hit the feels
Originality, creativity and pure stoke. In this sport they would say everything is already doned. Big respect to Osaka Daggers
"skateboarding is skateboarding" my dude gets it
Ninja lives matter
Nothin to get even
Skateboarding is definitely not skateboarding first of all
Bruh my man said skateboarding is skateboarding and the other guy was oh that's it well thanks for the interview
With a tattoo of the little prince 🤟
He has one of the best jobs and is nailing it too! Skate Tales is a great series into different aspects of Skateboarding and how it plays a role in peoples lives.
He is the Anthony Bourdain of skateboarding
That's the perfect way to describe him. Madars is open minded, has fun with the locals and makes new friends. He's a great ambassador for skateboarding.
Is just commented this, scrolled down and holy shit

Madars, what a dude.. Rapping in English in Osaka, skating the world... stay blessed and continue your journey 🙏🏼💚
Can't believe I've been missing out on such a great series, everything I love travel, food, and Skateboarding, all crushed into a perfect mold. Madars has a rad-ass life.
Love this series. Couldn’t have picked a better presenter than madarse for this show!!
Imagine getting to street skate to Osaka Castle with the Daggers. Talk about living the dream.

This might of been the most wholesome skate video I've ever seen
I love this blond guy documenting it. He is so full of positivity
The dude has a name, Madar sapse. He’s an absolute shredder
Luke St Hill I’ll look him up
Luke St Hill he seems autistic
@Schreck Network no my g autistic just like most pro skateboarders are
@@Henry-wl2jv And who is this big boy? prntscr.com/um1o0o
Mr handsome did a back smith stall w his hands in his pockets 🔥
Im so happy that the daggers are given this exposure from red bull:) Chopper is my biggest influence when it comes to skateboarding and hes responsible for me getting more interested in the sport. Hopefully more people get inspired and start to see skateboarding with a different perspective.
skateboarding for others is just hobby or a toy but for some like the osaka daggers its culture, its family like chopper said: skateboarding is skateboarding❤
I have to say that that was probably one of the best most uplifting videos of anything Ive watching a very long time.
who can dislike something like this? stopped watching skate media and made their own style.. sick!!
Look how this guy goes over there and just becomes a part of their crew immediately. So cool and impressive.
It's like "No Reservations", when you add the food. I love this show
I would love to see these triumphant souls get together with Mullen! This video blew my mind on what's possible with stairs and tricks on skates. Good people. Good town. Thank you for bringing us along to this truly heart warming scene.
I need some daggers gear, these guys are so damn awesome. They are living their best life for sure
Glad to see these guys got some big exposure! Loved their parts in Heroin's skate vids.
These guys are my kindred spirits across the ocean, I love stalling on curbs
i just cannot express how much i like Skate Tales. it realy is a great series!! absolute pure awesomeness!
Madars thank you for letting me hear what Kierkegaard sounded like. I always wondered why his high raspy Danish voice was so remarkable, now I know.
“I have to hide my face so I don’t get fired”
5 seconds later they film the guys whole face with flash on
Yeah wtf?
Yeah. Quite disgusting of Red Bull. They should have blurred his face.
kek no fucks given
I damn near cried when the host started freestyling over Nujabes. This is such a beautiful video
same :)
Really want to visit Osaka after watching this & skate with them!
Madars your such a genuine doode! Thank you so much for just being you and such a positive light in this world!!!
it's funny to hear them say they were a year behind with skateboarding, and it felt like they were always catching up, because that's exactly how we felt with video games over here in the states
These videos are so amazing! I love Japan and find their culture very interesting so this was extra awesome to watch. Loved seeing how much these people enjoy skateboarding and how unique they are. What they stand for really spoke to me. Also, ending the video with a Nujabes beat was so perfect.
This series is amazing! Particularly this episode and the one in Ethiopia, make me just want to fly over there and live with them. I love the fact it's fresh in Ethiopia, and in Japan they just have fun, no preconceptions, same in Brazil. That's how skating should be for everyone! It would be an honour to skate with any of these guys.
Madars is just the shit. Love the thoughtfulness of this series man!
This dude embodies skateboarding, a gr8 sk8 ambassador.
This is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen. What a fun crew! Skating at its purists form!
Beautiful documentary. What a blessing to be there in the mix to experience that all. I appreciate the humble acknowledgement you made towards such a sentiment before the temple. Super rad video. Wow.
Epic. Please don't stop making these videos. Truly love the series.
Yo man I love everything you do and how you help to bring all these awesome cultures, lifestyles and FUN to the rest of us. I can't begin to imagine how awesome it would be to travel around the world and meet so many great and wonderful people that all share one passion. Skateboarding. Please continue to do what you do and shed light upon these amazing people from all over the world. Cherish every second of it. Everyone is beautiful and everyone is just as important as anyone else.✌🏼
That last part when he added the background noise...it was so good, that I had forgotten it was his own freestyle! NICE
Man this was fucking awesome, seein them have fun in there own way shit makes me wanna go out and skate... beautiful
Waw! All these skateboarding styles which I had never seen before. Very creative
chopper and madars are the best! inspired me to get out and skate today! thanks, redbull!
This is awesome! I love it when the Japanese take something from our culture and throw their own spin on it! True artists experiment!
"We are surrounded by the repression of the rules of our society, but that same repression feeds our energy and explodes in our expression ."
So very well said, my man .
Skate tales is one of the best skate projects that I ever watched!
agree
These skaters are very technical with their style...👊🏿👍🏿
Honestly, hella wholesome. You own the job my guy!
This channel shows EVERYTHING that skateboarding is! Absolutely fantastic!!!
dislikes are from people who cant have fun
I'll say this-"There has never been a lack of skate-fools" ie, Simon Woodstock, Richie Jackson, Steve-O, the list goes on...
or they are fruitbooters
@@mr.johnson460 tony hawk is on that list after signing with indy, going against decades of being the opposite...

This is such a gift to watch during the whole wildfire crisis happening here in Oregon. Lifted my spirits.
I’ve been following the Osaka Daggers for years now so thank you for such great content! You also got bars on that Nujabes beat! 🔥 🔥 🔥
That’s what skating all about! Having fun and having a good time!
Great frame of japan, thanks for bringing this up
This is one of the best skateboarding shows on RUclips. Madars makes a great host! I would love to see him as a commentator and/or contestant at the Roller Coaster!
Great! Nice touring in Ozaka , thanks REdBulL 🙂👍💯 greetings From Mexico 🇲🇽🇲🇽
Looks like so much fun, love it
man, there seriously could not be a better host for this series other than Madars. This is so amazing to see!
Madar is awesome love watching him skate
This in combination with the music in the background is just inspirational and amazing man
Ive skated at that spot and hung out with those dude. You really did a great job on this. well done.
Damn, thought I’d just check this out quickly. Watched the whole thing. Great vibe going on and that freestyle was perfect summary of the whole experience
I'm impressed with the older guy he has some really cool tricks makes it look easy. Skateboarding is skateboarding.
Wally Inouye made a huge impact in my community and thinking about how our local skaters are so diverse, yet connected. How so many great people are gone, who I once I had a chance to skate with. Especially those I looked up to when I was younger. Ride on forever, Forrest💛😭Ride on, everyone
Another amazing episode Madars is the man for the job and the Osaka daggers are true legends everyone I know that has visited Osaka has been taken in by the daggers crew skateboarding is the best!
Dude, this was Soo fuggin Dope!!! I'm enjoying the hell out of these episodes 🤘😎🤙
Yeah these are great! Quality content madars is the man
This was awesome. More of this.
its heartwarming to know there people out in this world enjoying life unconditionally
This series is amazing!
It’s nice seeing a culture of skateboarding around the world which isn’t just a constant push for crazier and bigger tricks, but just different ways to have fun with it. That’s the big thing I’ve taken from this series so far, it almost feels like in the west we only care about the technicality and size these days when there’s so much more to it.
Super Stuff! Madars, the best vibe and the politeness, perfect host for the show! Best regards from Igaunija!
I needed this video
So much fun!
This was badass!
one of the coolest things ive ever fuckin seen, love these guys so much
Best skate series to ever bless us
This is the best thing on redbull TV by far!

What a life Madars has. He deserves it. Daggers rule!

I love that spirit of punk and skateboard that my mainstream skater friends never understood
Feels good to see that, skatin' like back in the days.

Nujabes at the end ♥️😌
