Comments: It's a fun departure out of OAK to the south.
There's a cognitive dissonance that comes when watching the speed as you lift off ... because you are getting further from the ground, it seems as if you are slowing down when you are not. I've always loved that interesting feature.
That Takeoff was quick! Southwest must be pretty good with takeoffs
It’s just a combination of powerful engines and a long runway.
So far, I’ve flown Delta, Delta Connection, US Airways, US Airways Express, United, and Spirit Airlines!
I live here
I will fly next June 24 Seattle- San Jose( California) Burbank- Oakland- Seattle same day returning back to Seattle
10:19 must've been a speed restriction
OAK had an interesting departure. Check out the departure plates!
