Fellow Escapists 2 speedrunner here. (PC though :P) We have leaderboards over at www.speedrun.com/The_Escapists_2, although it's mostly PC runners that use it cause the in-game leaderboards for PC are flooded with hackers. We actually had a different way to do it even before they patched this glitch out. If you don't mind spoilers, you can check out the IL run for Area 17. Although note the runs for H.M.P. Offshore and USS Anomaly use the same general method.

I've figured out a way to do this escape glitchless and keyless within a day, check it out: Step 1: Find 2 Crowbars, 2 or 3 Energy Drinks, a Feather, Ink Bottle, and a Blank Pass. Also get the 60 intelligence, of course. Step 2: Craft the Security Pass. Once the last roll starts, you should be in the area with the UFO behind fences. Go to the top of the area, next to the red door, and start chipping the wall with your Crowbars. Step 3: You won't have enough room in your inventory, so drop a Energy Drink, and collect the Wall. Drop the Wall, collect the Energy Drink, and walk to the northern part of the maintenance building. Step 4: Drink a Energy Drink, and start chipping. If a guard or a search light is near, go to the left side of the maintenance building. Once the danger is gone, begin chipping again and drink Energy Drinks until you're inside the maintenance building. Step 5: Grab the Civillian Outfit, and run to the escape building. Now simply show the dude your security pass, and you've escaped. Good job!
I figured that you were going to solitary, but if they never find you then you never get sent. Also I think there might be a MUCH faster way but it involves doing the reading first, then finding the red and blue keys, and just trying to grab the civilian outfit before the alarm triggers. The major problem here is getting both keys in that UFO room after morning roll call, because the guards get all mixed up as the day goes on.
you can do this escape without the red key just duct tape camera in the shower room while no guards are there and chip it with a crowbar or a iron bar put the brick back then your outside
I hate this prison. I took 2 days 2 BLOODY DAYS TO GET DAMN TOOTHPASTE! and it took me 4 days to get a dowl for the zip it up escape in rattlesnake springs quick tip for rattle snake springs decline all missions except for the crafty! missions becuz the a crafty mission u have to craft a pretend flower and to make that u need a dowl
8 days. 8 days of my escape from the HMP offshore was waiting for a string to make a fishing rod and give snooty a fish. I gave up on it and escaped in 2 days using the boat. The luck in this game is sometimes ridiculous

But you can't keep items with the crafting glitch, and Dogs will find you i think
When you get the escape it should play the rag n' bone man song where he yells "IM ONLY HUMAN"

If you aren't trying speedrun, a crowbar is an excellent method of skipping the red key

wow i took 22 days (i dug a tunnel)
It took me 2 I made 2 plastic keys (cyan and red) and I spawned with a feather and jar of ink in my desk
