Never ever press the eps foam to check whether it bounces back or the rigidity I don’t know why he’s telling you to do that, once you do that your helmet is done and you’ll have to buy a new one if you’re ever in doubt I’m afraid you’ll have to buy a new one cause it is extremely dangerous
