I've learned about so many cool rom hacks since I started watching BTG, and downloaded a lot of the ones you've played. Good guy Darby always keeping us occupied with awesome content, even between videos.

The Whole "Rule Change" between Mario and Buzzy Beets' reminds me of the "Captain Toad Treasure Tracker" and "Captain Toad Treasure Tracker 2" mods for Mario World. Toad Fudamentally controls differently and Can't Jump. It's Basically Captain Toad World (Although the first looks like an enhanced Mario 2 USA - which is actually pretty cool.)! The Music Sounds Like Something out of a Megaman/ Megaman X/ Genesis game.
This mod reminds me of Super Mario World Odyssey... except the buzzy Beetle did not move this fast in that. I couldn't beat a stage when I took control. A gap I had to jump across was just too big for his teeny, tiny legs haha.
As a viewer I really enjoyed it. Would like more of this hack. All levels were creative and well designed but it might have taken you a lot of time to play and edit it out as it seems a bit tough.

NOW I remembered what the 3rd level's BGM sounds reminds me of! It has the same feel to it as Megaman music as well as a small section of Dragon Marked For Death's theme song has, that is, if you would have converted that part of DMFD's theme song into Midi, or whatever that type of music that is made out of digital instruments instead. Fun fact, the creators of Dragon Marked For Death developed two series of Megaman games: Zero and the ZX series. They also have a number of other games they've made. fyi, to any kids in the comments who sees this, do not search about Dragon Marked For Death, it's not meant for kids. And can get real depressing.
I know what buttons do what xD I am just use to the NES controller when I think of running and jumping and said the wrong thing. I know hold jump to bounce higher. But thanks for the tip.
@@BlueTelevisionGames It was just an amusing slip since A is also jump on the N64, Game Boy, and Game Cube while B is usually in some way involved in getting forward momentum (such as diving in Mario 64 and Sunshine) even when running is just part of the directional movement itself. And of course, you were already doing the bounce correctly before getting the hint box. I don't know what the button layout on an Xbox controller and hence most PC game pads is (I haven't touched an Xbox since 2004 and I've never had a _working_ PC gamepad/joystick in my life), but I'd suspect they'd put the A where the SNES put the B just to make it less confusing to play platformers.

It's not the run button you're being told to hold, it's the jump button. On the SNES controller, X and Y are run, B is normal jump, A is spin jump.
