- Gray Zone Warfare is set to get night gameplay. I tried to use color grading and effects to simulate what this would be like when it launches.

Can't wait for the day/night cycle, man. I really hope they make the night dark enough that it's actually difficult to see without nods. It'll make PvP even more interesting, too!

@@Bigjuice6914 Somewhat. Some Dayz servers use a mod to overlay a sort of film grain on your screen when gamma is too high. When you lower your gamma to within an appropriate range you can see clearly again. It’s not perfect and I’m not sure how it works exactly but it does prevent players from abusing gamma during a night cycle.

If there is not an overcast, it's very easy to see without nods.

What do you mean? Are you talking about destructible environments? ... Probably not. Considering this is a persistent world game. Its not match-based. So with enough fighting, a town like Ban Pa would just be shredded to pieces. There'd be nothing left. Considering that there are quests that require placeables, loot containers that can't really be moved, etc. It's just not feasible. This is more Tarkov and less Battlefield, my guy.

are you serious about this? it just looks like you put on a green filter on and a little less contrast... this is not properly done. i really hope it's not gonna look like this when the next update comes out
There's are about 6 parallel and serial nodes as will as a fusion effect using about 15 nodes three render passes ans added grain/noise. It will be properly done by the studio. I just did my best wosj bright daylight footage with high motion and contrast to capture the feeling of what night gameplay will feel like.

So then what game crashes you have to go buy need back pack, Flak jacket, Kevlar, weapon, ammo, now Night vision? Does the night vision just turn on like a fake ass game or are there NODS on the helmet? Looks modded and fake. Does the night vision go in the Mask slot? Everyone else is all woo wow...fuck that I want to know how it works. If it's 3,000$ for NVGs you just lost to the game crashing. on top of the 10,000 you'll need for a new kit!!!!
