3:17 i think the trophy reset was always meant to give cosmetic rewards, so its fine but still they give gems which is already way more that what we got with the old trophy reset, and trophy reset not effecting casual players is good
A few things I wanted to comment about: 1. The trophy box is only for cosmetics. Ever since they even added the old system for star points it was meant for cosmetics, so adding progression to it would diminish the aim for this part of the game. 2. Brawlers are meant to release strong, and the reason for it is not money. We have seen many brawlers from two or three years ago that released very weak/mediocre and wouldn’t be played by players until they would be buffed to be broken. An example of that we see right now is Willow; she got released mediocre and isn’t played by many players. It is much healthier for the game to release a broken brawler and nerf them over time than release a brawler and need to buff them to oblivion to be played by players. 3. Progression is an economy. There is many sources for coins and PowerPoints and what not, and buffing the coin income from a certain source would make a need to nerf the source from other types of income. E.g. if they buff coins from the Brawl Pass they would have to heavily nerf coins from mastery, as they are both huge sources of progression. 4. It makes sense for the game to focus on gaining income, because what’s the point if you focus on improving the experience of players rather than attracting new players? Brawl stars is a business, and the focus is gaining profit; not making people happy. Of course that is not to say the developers do not want their players to enjoy the game; but limited timed events and collabs have proven to get the game more players and attention than merely revamping ranked or something. These changes do still come to the game, the trophy revamp, new brawlers, etc. So current players are still a focus of the game, just not one they should put all their energy into. TLDR: Trophy box is only for cosmetic, and it wouldn’t make sense for it to give progression. Balanced/bad brawlers on release are not played by players, and the game needs to buff them to oblivion for them to be played, so releasing them OP is much healthier for the game. Coin inflation is not good, coin income is a lot in the game, players are just not playing it. New players gain the game more money than old players.
Believe me, solo showdown is hell compared to 3v3... Randoms who kamikaze into you and make you loose like, 30 trophies at 1600 for a top 7 is just giving suicidal thoughts
So true. It feels like every match my enemies have some brain implant to alter their decisions and only go for me with a "IF IM DYING YOURE COMING WITH ME!"
I can only play 1 hour a day max, and with the new updates, in order to get all the best rewards and “free” stuff, only playing an hour a day isn’t enough to keep up and stay at the top level, on top of being a mid player at the game.
Making matchmaking not dependant on total trophies is the best thing they could have made. It wasn't full at all to have sweety matches for rank 15 whereas a rank 30 was free on my mini acc.
I think the community event that will come (toy story) will be pretty good, because there are no modifiers. I think, that’s how the events should look and are good
but the new brawler again comes out to be above avg brawler. And as its free, literally everyone uses it. This mofo literally has such a decent hp but still 2 shots many sharpshooters in range🤓🤓
How did he ruin ladder if u literally cant get trophies with him??? Oh yeah you can fce him with other brawlers... i didnt realise cuz all my games had full buzz lightyears

trophy boxes was meant to be something for end game players thats why trophy boxes give only cosmetic as progression rewards are useless for those players
Without this trophy rework i wouldnt have been able to even get to 1000 trophies on any of my brawlers… I do really like grinding but im not all that competitive. Also i really like the better rewards each month.
Sincero, se non togliessero tutti i trofei fino a 1k sarebbe gia piu interessante, cosi almeno le coppe avrebbero di piu un senso, poi aggiungere altri r fino al 100 (2k) dove il mm è uguale a quello sotto le 1k, sopra le 2k poi si trovano solo i pro
