And I think you're right. The way Paige and the others talk feel like how millenials think GenZ talks with Paige just saying Bet, or the referencing pop culture stuff, almost like a stereotype.
And lastly the reason the game feels different is because the original developers stopped making computer games and moved to mobile, and this game is done by another company called SQRT3, who have rebooted the series (and are also making their own original stuff).
