    Your videos are gold to someone learning the banjo. You go over backup so well and in detail. Most teachers skim over it and speed through it like "oh everyone's backup is different just play what you feel." But specific rolls and examples like these are what students need to get them started though. Thank you for all of your videos.

    This answered my question about whether any of the rolls I knew from guitar finger picking would work on banjo! Lots of great ideas, Eddie.

      Thanks Susan. Definitely some specific patterns for banjo, like the forward/backward roll, just by the way it includes that high pitch G, whereas a simple inside roll that doesn't strike string 5, would work on both instruments.
