Agree prices seem a little high but it’s been yrs. since I was buying, love that young women like your self are making these “treasures”available to on line buyers and making a profit yourself, can you say prices etc.out loud as you show them, they are often faint and flash quickly…good luck 🍀
So cool-my stomping grounds! The resale shops - Resale with a purpose and TEAM can be a little spend on vintage items but I always find something great when I visit them. The goodwill in Tomball is amazing!
Love the tapestry pillow.
love the beautiful handwritten touch to the praying hands picture! 🙏
Love those little butter pats so cute!!! 🥰
Hi. The plate you purchased reminded me of my childhood. We had small plates and bowls think that. My mother said they were give a ways that were in laundry detergent and oatmeal.
I didn't know that! I have a little bowl with that pattern that I found at an estate sale in the 70s.
The little grater is for nutmeg. Nutmeg nuts were incredibly expensive. They had their own grater and everything. Sometimes they had a little compartment to keep the nut in.
Ooooo, I would've bought that beautiful pink/red transfer ware tea set😍
Oh my goodness!! Those prices are high! Just like the antique stores around me.
That white bowl you was looking at is the dishes i'm trying to find I remember using them at home when I was a kid and im68 now.I have been able to find a very few pieces and I look everywhere. When I see someone come across them I'm screaming that's my dishes.
Up here in Ontario Canada I'd be pretty happy with those prices for antiques!
Love your haul! The copper praying hands piece with the handwritten description is the best. Nice find!
I have the same little grater I think it is a nutmeg grater , love all little vintage things for the kitchen. 🥰❤️
@Patricia Anglin - you are right - it IS a nutmeg grater - they also work GREAT (grate! LOL!🤣) for grating whole cinnamon sticks❣🙉 I have been looking for one 🤎 for quite a while. Danielle finding hers gives me hope I will also find one "in the wild". 😊
I have a little bowl that I found at an estate sale in the 70s with the same pattern as your green plate. I've never found other pieces with that pattern anywhere. It's nice to know they're out in the wild somewhere.
Hi Danielle, fun finds, I’m pretty sure your cheese grater is actually a nutmeg grater. Those prices at the first store sure were on the high side.
@Mary Hanson and @Home Made Vintage - Danielle - Mary it IS a nutmeg grater...and they work GREAT (grate!) for grating whole cinnamon sticks, too❣ Wonderful find‼️🙉 I have been looking for one. 🤎 Nice treasures today❣😎
Oh my gosh the book! With Scott on it! I have the match in Burns. I love books...I totally need it! That is a gorgeous book❤️❤️❤️
I also love that Old British Castles tea set...in fact, I would have spent a fortune on all that Johnson Bros. $$❤️❤️
I think the grader is for cinnamon sticks or nutmegs.
I found 2 of those same plates this week for 50 cents each and then 25% off so great deal ❤
I love the praying hands picture!🙏
Great shopping! Nice stuff!
Love the praying hands, beautiful piece!! I knew you'd grab that, lol. Tfs!
Always a beautiful selection of decor.
TUFS 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
That antique store sure have high prices!
An antique Mall in Fort Worth have very reasonable prices, the other antique Mall in Arlington have better prices, lovely finds.
I feel myself so grateful for the stores around me, and don't get me wrong I saw a feather weight singer
machine for $400! I wish I could have it.
My friend just sold a featherweight singer machine on eBay for high bid of $1200
That small grater is for grating nutmeg.
The tiny cheese grater is a nutmeg grater.
LOVE THE BUTTER PAT DISH DESIGN.......
Lovely finds ❤
Danielle, It's a Nutmeg Gator, I have the same....
Super👍👍👍👍👏
Expensive!
Un ptit coucou de France mon amie lointaine bisous
Is it just me or do the prices seem really high?
The first store is an antique store, if that’s what you mean!
What is the name of the mall you were at in Tomball? I'd love to go there! Thanks
Cherry Street Antiques
Was that bridge lamp $13? I audibly gasped. 😂
If you mean the one in the salvage room then no it’s was $139, I think. It burned my hand so I couldn’t hold the tag still! 😂😅
@@HomeMadeVintage hahaha!
Love your treasures but that 1st store too high for me.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It was an antique store! Definitely wouldn’t go there if it was a thrift store! 😂
💖💖💖💖💖👍
Very expensive thrift shop
