The trick to bosses with shells in any mario is you gotta jump on them the as soon as they exit the shell spining mode. That way you dont give them any time to move at all, works 99% of the time. Props though youre a real mario gamer

Remember you can use the spin jump to jump on some dangerous objects in the Super Mario World and New Super Mario Bros U styles!
