Without a doubt, this is the best Army Men stop motion currently on youtube. This self contained story has a story and visual effects that had me giggling like an idiot throughout my first viewing. The voice acting and sound design is superb, and the action was intense. I can't think of any flaw, but maybe that's just my blind love for this series. Mike, you have continued to push the boundaries, and this labour of love is truly something to claim. Fantastic job!
35 minutes of story, action, interesting characters, great contrasting views of the green and tan sides, with plenty of easter eggs for the original and sequel. This is amazingly done, and with this I believe I can finally rest on the trilogy. But if you make more, I know it'll be awesome. There is nowhere else on youtube I can go for a place like this, and I was there during the original release of the first video. You guys are my childhood and you continue to make new childhoods. Rock on!
I like how well you portrayed the futility and brutality of war. As opposed to focusing on the supposed good guy’s green side, you focused on the tan’s side and the fact that they are just as human as them. I also loved that you added background chatter when you could’ve just had the main characters talking. With other people talking in the background it gives us a bit of a window into seeing/getting an understanding of the other people’s experiences. Stuff like “This is getting interesting!”, “I’m gonna lose my stripes over this!” And after the ambush part: “I am SO, tired of this happening!” add a bit of comic relief to the suspense. I enjoyed that you added a shell shocked Corporal, and justice against the sadistic bastards who got so many people killed in the attacks. I don’t care about the CGI background. I liked it. There wasn’t a ridiculous amount of war crimes going on like in the old episode (like putting POWs up to their necks and 360 no scoping them) infact I think there was a balanced amount of summary execution and mercy going on. Above all the ending was pretty goddamn satisfying. Also I LOVED, the downfall hitler reference. Amazing job. I don’t care if you take a year (sarcasm) to make another one of these. Do it well and make it a fun experience!!
I really love how the tan general sounds so humble and human. He's audibly and visually composed throughout the whole thing and the only time he ever really has an outburst is when he fires his pistol at the sabre-tooth's line. You can hear it in his voice when he asks the commander for that "one more try." He's just as tired as his men. Put that in contrast with the green major here and commander from PA the Prisoner Escape. The greens seem to be plagued by barbaric leaders and blessed with violent soldiers whilst the tan have seemingly less violent soldiers but are blessed with a competent general.
Shooter Flynn Dartmouth is competent he's under allot of stress because of being in comand of all force around hedge base punya line and feldgrad mountains he is responsible for allot of theaters of war plus he has to put with Trojan company a rough and tough green units sent on the worst missions because they get the results at the cost of their morality and Dartmouth has to balance units like Trojan and the regular uinits major hides is under the pressure of deffending one of the most important parts of mertyle sector and he has lost most of his men amunition and other resources nessisary to defend sabertooth with the spade division cut off from 10th armoured with the fourth assault going up in flames 10th armoured is severely depleted he knows that he see an opportunity to send the tans running as an officer he has a responsibilty to follow his orders his order from mainland are to hold the sabertooth at all cost making him use attrition tactics which succeed buy now the stress is too much for him so he start to make poor choices
It's a matter of perspective I guess. You have to remember that even though most of the tan soldiers we've seen seem to be more caring and less violent than their green counterparts, they are still the ones invading the green homeland here. "Good" doesn't exactly apply here in that black or white fashion. (The Tans have always been my personal favourites tho)
Nicky Gloves exactly. The greens are established as violent, and unethical. Compared to the tan soldiers in all PA parts so far it's arguable that they seem more like the villanous ones.
Same I would. Get my Legos and have a big war Legos vs Green army men and tan army men it was so fun but now I have like two tan army men. In like 35 Green and still the same at one of Lego 😂😂
In my backyard there was a pile of leftover bricks from the building of the BBQ years before we ever moved into that house, so I'd set up two brick forts and we'd shoot at our Army Men with rubber band guns. The forts incorporated broken bricks so they were in a partially bombed out condition and men hid behind rubble as well as loups and "makeshift" battlements.
Watching this made me think about how the greens are complete animals: they condone torture, killing their own, and they hate to take prisoners. In contrast, the tans seem to honor their enemies and generally care about their own men's well being. Both have toxic leadership at times but the tans overall are so much more respectable. Oh and this was amazing; definitely the best stop motion film I've ever seen.
No the tans act like there soilders don’t have lives. At the beginning you know how they put the tans out of their misery and just after that they showed a wounded green and they tried to save him

There is no rectitude whatsoever. There is no virtue. As a first rule of thumb, therefore, you can tell a true war story by its absolute and uncompromising allegiance to obscenity and evil.”
Damn, that's true. I'm gonna have a hard time watching Star Wars battles then. But you're right. War means both countries in question have failed. As much as I want to make likeable characters in my own series, I know deep down that one in particular tries to find moral virtue in his country's cause, only for him to fully realise that all war is evil, and he's been lied to by himself.

He seems to have a tighter leash on his men, and can reign them in easier, unlike Macabre, whose men tended to act impulsively and make the situation worse, like Moss and the radio or the handling of Brown with the grenade. The fact that he doesn't always execute people outright already makes him a more likable character as well. Plus, he, like Macabre, led his men through treacherous territory and took a seemingly impenetrable position. Then he did it again with Hedge Base. Then, he keeps his nerves, even as he's losing his legs. He never once begged for mercy. What a grade-A badass.

Here here. But we should count our blessings. I may not be an expert on how RUclips works, but if this was on trending maybe JUST MAYBE They would consider taking it down or demonotizing it for some stupid reason and we'd have to find some other source to watch it from. Seriously, Fuck RUclips right now.
This really gives me 40k vibes, like a full-scale conflict between the Imperial Guard and rebel forces, and it also captures the intense violence and carnage. Other than that, this is very well made, great improvements, and more great characters like in your previous videos.
I know that everyone already said that, but I have a urge to also say it - this is a astonishing masterpiece. It so damm well recreates the tension that I get only from the best gory war movies and you managed this without the budget that those movies would use, instead operating with basic tools and effects at genius level. Well done sir, well done.
do you know how long it takes to make these, like the stop motion alone takes probally many days since its this long of a video dude like jeez give em a break
I'm so glad there's another Star Wars fan here that appreciates Clone Wars. Wanna know something neat? On Mike Akkerman's maps designed by Steven Tan, The Grey's have a base called "Echo Base".
@@dagamingnightmare4325Guys I think it's pretty obvious now that the Tans represent the USA or some world super power like that and the Greens represent the Vietcong or The Japanese in ww2 as the Greens are so evil and have tortured and killed P.O.W (by firing squads, hung by barbed wire, burned, scarred with bayonets etc) that is a war crime don't just say "ohh it's war" "ooh they were just following orders" which us dumb because you actually are allowed to disobey orders so Captain Macabre and The other Green soldiers/Generals should be put on trial and executed for killing/torturing prisoners, waging warfare, using weapons and psychological warfare that cause too much pain and suffering, probably crimes against humanity and you say "ohh the tans invaded greentoria" but we don't actually know why they did it, it's probably justified you idiots I bet the greens attacked the tans like pearl harbour for no reason you morons, the tans actually care for their soldiers and have competent and civilised leaders like Major Windsor, Sergeant Tuscan and General Dune unlike Major Hyde, Sergeant Moss, General Dartmouth and Captain Macabre especially Macabre in the first, second and thirst episodes he killed the prisoners in the end of the first episode, tortured and murdered around 4 soldiers and not to mention burning Windsor's legs off now yes Colonel Kilroy didn't really have care for his men in this one but that was because he was a literal lunatic and was quite full of himself and wasn't the best tan officer therefore he was killed but he was just an bad general of the usual amazing tan generals so the tans haven't put the green soldiers or their civilians in hard labour or killed them now have they and whenever they did they were put in their place and punished rightly by the nice but strict soldier Windsor GO TANS, THE TANS WILL WIN THE WAR WINDSOR AND TUSCAN SHALL CRACK GREENTORIA IN THE INVASION!! Oh and Major Hyde and Macabre do? YEAH RIGHT
Absolutely perfect. The characters’ different personalities even if they are the same color (green or tan) and the the green major being insane all is gripping, and ultimately creates a positive atmosphere. Well done!
What about the Grey Republic and it's army? Are they another power, or are they a more elite fighting force joined with the Greens or the Tans? Go Greys!
I love that fact that neither the tans or greens are evil, it's the propaganda that tells them that their evil, but in reality its bunch of scared young men force to fight each other.
It was sooo worth the wait, :) I'm glad you were able to post and create this Mike, I knew very well that this movie was going to be worth the wait, and now I'm glad to have watched it :) I also admire the smoke effects, this makes it even well more amazing to watch and more realistic, I right now can't even tell which is better now, Saber Tooth, or Hedge Base XD LOL I pray that one of these days I can one day provide a voice or help in the future man :) ANyway Great job Mike as usual ;)
After all these years.. another excellent video! I remember watching the first one several years ago, and its amazing to see what else has been released since. Keep it up, and I hope you made countless more films in the future!
Your radio traffic and background sound effects are really good. You create a little terror in the atmosphere, and then the battle becomes incredibly visceral. This was actually very compelling. Better than the writing in a lot of movies.

If you aren’t aware by now, most of the Greens are terrible people. Trojan is full of murderous torturers, and Hyde ordered the greens to string up Tan troops in the trees and summarily executed one of his own men. To be completely honest, these are the first respectable Greens we’ve seen at all, at least besides Gordon and Hyde.
Still just as enjoyable to watch as the first time, great job Mike, you always seem to raise the bar with each video, and I really hope you're proud of yourself.
player #9 There’s a difference of knowing when you lost and being slaughtered like sheep. Major Hyde has a ego, and that’s winning. Not the well being of his troops. Surrendering after horrible battle doesn’t make you a coward. Makes you smart enough to know.
@@radioactiverat8751 Because every soldier knows deep down what is at stake. Every second they held here they give more time to regroup and resupply for their homeland. Especially when it is your country that is being invaded.

Rhen Vao well in the prisoner opwration the tan didnt listen to him he threw a grenade the room they were all in and could have killed them all
This made me want the Tans to win more, but I still sympathize with the greens. Damn Michael! You know how to make a convincing and crazy story!
You know, this actually shows that the allies might not win a battle but win a war.
This is probably one of the best "movies" I've ever seen.
Good job.
14:58 is the best place to use as a thumbnail .ω.
Also by far one of the best action stop motion I've watched. EVER.
Ya I thought it would be the thumbnail
Two words......

This needs to be on trending
nah fam, youtube don't care about inspired and outspoken artists
now, it's that sweet sweet moneh !
Broke Dog Ikr all they put on trending is stupid shit
get ready for some jake paul and logan paul autism.
Who cares about fantastic masterpieces that have thousands of hours put into it, how about some shitty memes that make no sense
Here here. But we should count our blessings. I may not be an expert on how RUclips works, but if this was on trending maybe
JUST MAYBE
They would consider taking it down or demonotizing it for some stupid reason and we'd have to find some other source to watch it from.
Seriously, Fuck RUclips right now.
This really gives me 40k vibes, like a full-scale conflict between the Imperial Guard and rebel forces, and it also captures the intense violence and carnage.
Other than that, this is very well made, great improvements, and more great characters like in your previous videos.
Interesting comparison I never really thought of the 40k universe when watching this

I love the tans southern accents it makes them more baddass
Southern Accents? They sound the same to me.
Steven Tan should take some screenshots from the Sabre-Tooth and turn them into actual wallpapers, such as 9:23.
I actually watch ur videos dude.
I know that everyone already said that, but I have a urge to also say it - this is a astonishing masterpiece. It so damm well recreates the tension that I get only from the best gory war movies and you managed this without the budget that those movies would use, instead operating with basic tools and effects at genius level. Well done sir, well done.
Looks like we’ll have to wait 3 years for another sequel ;)
NKZ l ProductionZ Actually episode 3 had it's production stopped for this, so it shouldn't be too long.
Probably will be 3-5 monthes
This is the third
do you know how long it takes to make these, like the stop motion alone takes probally many days since its this long of a video dude like jeez give em a break
NKZ l ProductionZ what take so long
8:33 LOLLL. Anyways great job! Earned a sub!
The tan general is very nice to its troops
Bc tans are soft, soft like sand
@@cody1178 the guy you replied to got hit with a brick of facts
This reminds me of when Pong Krell messed up the 501st's operation on Umbara. In this case, both sides had Pong Krell's. Good video man! :)
I'm so glad there's another Star Wars fan here that appreciates Clone Wars. Wanna know something neat? On Mike Akkerman's maps designed by Steven Tan, The Grey's have a base called "Echo Base".
Nicolas Charron “Reporting for duty commander”
Nicolas Charron me to
Wow i have a different view to the tans now
I hate the tans the act like there soilders don’t have lives
That's war for you.
@@dagamingnightmare4325Guys I think it's pretty obvious now that the Tans represent the USA or some world super power like that and the Greens represent the Vietcong or The Japanese in ww2 as the Greens are so evil and have tortured and killed P.O.W (by firing squads, hung by barbed wire, burned, scarred with bayonets etc) that is a war crime don't just say "ohh it's war" "ooh they were just following orders" which us dumb because you actually are allowed to disobey orders so Captain Macabre and The other Green soldiers/Generals should be put on trial and executed for killing/torturing prisoners, waging warfare, using weapons and psychological warfare that cause too much pain and suffering, probably crimes against humanity and you say "ohh the tans invaded greentoria" but we don't actually know why they did it, it's probably justified you idiots I bet the greens attacked the tans like pearl harbour for no reason you morons, the tans actually care for their soldiers and have competent and civilised leaders like Major Windsor, Sergeant Tuscan and General Dune unlike Major Hyde, Sergeant Moss, General Dartmouth and Captain Macabre especially Macabre in the first, second and thirst episodes he killed the prisoners in the end of the first episode, tortured and murdered around 4 soldiers and not to mention burning Windsor's legs off now yes Colonel Kilroy didn't really have care for his men in this one but that was because he was a literal lunatic and was quite full of himself and wasn't the best tan officer therefore he was killed but he was just an bad general of the usual amazing tan generals so the tans haven't put the green soldiers or their civilians in hard labour or killed them now have they and whenever they did they were put in their place and punished rightly by the nice but strict soldier Windsor
GO TANS, THE TANS WILL WIN THE WAR WINDSOR AND TUSCAN SHALL CRACK GREENTORIA IN THE INVASION!!
Oh and Major Hyde and Macabre do? YEAH RIGHT
Facts
I never thought that any of the sides were bad
BEST MOVIE WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR :D
Absolutely perfect. The characters’ different personalities even if they are the same color (green or tan) and the the green major being insane all is gripping, and ultimately creates a positive atmosphere. Well done!
It would've been really funny if you put "no army men were harmed in the making of this video"😂
🤩🤪🤪🤪
But army men were harmed
Wilhelm strösse that is how Teen work son..😂
What about the Grey Republic and it's army? Are they another power, or are they a more elite fighting force joined with the Greens or the Tans? Go Greys!
The dialogue of Major Windsor in the sequel to hedge base implies that the Greys are their own power. "They fought the Greys and the Blues."
Shooter Flynn z
Shooter Flynn the wiki said they stay in there own Territory and get out if they have to
Why you guys dislikes this video?
This video is so cool
Probably because most people like the greens and not the tans
Cause the tans won. And i hate tans but i liked the video
Yeah this vid was almost three years in the making.
Umm we like greens as a kid and tans not really

Michael Akkerman, thank you so much for creating this. I really appreciate all the effort you've put in. Look forward to more videos!
I love that fact that neither the tans or greens are evil, it's the propaganda that tells them that their evil, but in reality its bunch of scared young men force to fight each other.
Just like real war.
Vietnam in a nutshell
Titan Films HD that’s the point I see too much of a one sided story in most army men channels now while some like plastic apocalypse
Yeah same here
This movie was brilliant! Congratulations on making such an amazing animation, poor greens...
100% agree on the good vid and yeah, poor guys
After all these years.. another excellent video! I remember watching the first one several years ago, and its amazing to see what else has been released since. Keep it up, and I hope you made countless more films in the future!
This is oddly brutal but at the same time very entertaining.
This is the best stop motion Chanel no doubt.

Bryce Peterson you copied that comment
Bryce Peterson lol
TheSp00kyWizard I just looked at the other one, he copied himself😅
That was awesome I loved it please make more content also I liked how you showed both veiws of green and tan
shit, its worth waiting that long
The majors in here are all blood thirst
Except shamrock
Your radio traffic and background sound effects are really good. You create a little terror in the atmosphere, and then the battle becomes incredibly visceral. This was actually very compelling. Better than the writing in a lot of movies.
Yes finally!!!!!
Well no wonder we don't see many Tans in this series. The body count for them is insane, dare I say more than the Greens.
AwesomePerryMe XD that’s why the tans are more likeable they aint invincible
It’s finally here, we never gave up on plastic apocalypse !
And just wondering where did you get the army man that you used for Major Killroy
Love your profile picture
this guy i has the best army men stop motion videos just in every way i cant think of any flaws plastic apocalypse is indeed the best thing i could watch.

alexa burge in the plastic apocalypse world there isnt any nazis or countries. They are just nations that hate each others guts
i dont care if now i have to wait till 2020 for the next one. don't stop making them pls

Honestly, this was flat out amazing. Thank you for all the effort you put in to making this. This was so much fun to watch.

Kieslings Films yes completely agree
Kieslings Films loved the video with you and minhael akkerman by the way
tusken new favorite character
Michael Ferrell same bruh
Tuscan not tusken
@Stig Lapoint Likely he didn't since his unit was thrown together with Viking company. Go back and watch the prisoner episode. Can't remember which one, but the Tan General/Major mentions that Hedge base was taken and Viking company was wiped out. I can't recall if that was the defencive force or the counter attack though.
RadioactiveRat nah tuskin was part of the armored division it was made clear he wasn’t part of Viking company when they all left and Tusken was left behind to command his own troops
@@camosaurus7094 But wasn't what was left of his company absorbed to bolster Viking Compay's ranks? I don't recall it saying he leaves Viking company after the Sabertooth.
“I’m gonna kill em sarge.... I’m gonna kill em” made me laugh so hard lmaoo

Simply staggering and stunningly good... without a single doubt the best Army Men video out there. I play wargames with Army Men (as a deliberate choice/reaction to the growing commercialism within the wargaming hobby) and videos like this one inspires me to keep going even more. Thank you for your skill and hard work, and for sharing this with us all. PLEASE make many more.
Can we get a collection update
Sorry if I sound rude its just I would like to know what he has added
This film is amazing, a lot of effort in building the set, animating and editing! I’ve made some army men stop notions but they never compare to this!
I like how you did a different pov on the tan side.
I remember watching videos like this when I was 7... besides the constant war crimes, torture, and swearing.
same.
Here's hoping we see more from the Tans pov.

OMG! This is the best army men stop motion ever.... The story, sound effect and everything....Good job bro... Keep it up... You earned a sub soldier! 😎
FINALLY, OUR PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED!
Mike, your movies get better all the time! I know they're just toy soldiers but they really depict how ugly war is. Kudos 👍👍👍
The fact it's army men adds to it. In a few ways, it wouldn't be as powerful of it was done with people. It shows just how bizzare war really is.
Good to see something from the Tan perspective. Also good to see the Tan insignia. It's a lot more attractive than the Green's.
TheDoubleDeuced i love more green perspective .. idk why
I like how it shows both sides of view of the war instead of making one side look bad
Plz dont stop making these i love them
Bryan Johnson he’s working in the next episode it takes time
We'd rather die on our feet than die on our knees for the tan Empire
For how meniachel you made dune sound hes a very humble man and more respectable then dartmouth I also feel really bad for the greens of the sabertooth also I really like general dunes voice nice choice mike
dominic vucic I pity Sgt. Shamrock.
Caesers Legion Centurion the tans have to beglad that they weren't fighting my green Astra militarum regiment they won't retreat they won't stop shooting they use the dead as barricades and 9.99 times out of 10 will fix BAYONETS and charge straight into their lines yes I based them off of 40k
dominic vucic cocaines a hell of a drug
im special I wouldn't know sir
If you aren’t aware by now, most of the Greens are terrible people. Trojan is full of murderous torturers, and Hyde ordered the greens to string up Tan troops in the trees and summarily executed one of his own men. To be completely honest, these are the first respectable Greens we’ve seen at all, at least besides Gordon and Hyde.
29:20...holy shit
Your a real artist I believe that this was real with how perfect the design is.
Still just as enjoyable to watch as the first time, great job Mike, you always seem to raise the bar with each video, and I really hope you're proud of yourself.
This was great I can’t wait till the next one👍
I was on the greens side but I hated Major Hyde
Ya But he was right
Only cowards who surrender in the battle
player #9 There’s a difference of knowing when you lost and being slaughtered like sheep. Major Hyde has a ego, and that’s winning. Not the well being of his troops.
Surrendering after horrible battle doesn’t make you a coward. Makes you smart enough to know.
@@brolutiongaming3983 I was honestly surprised non of his men commited mutany.
@@radioactiverat8751 Because every soldier knows deep down what is at stake. Every second they held here they give more time to regroup and resupply for their homeland. Especially when it is your country that is being invaded.
@@TheYrrah While I would be inclined to agree for that reason, there is a breaking point for every person. I mean to say that I'm surprised someone didn't loose their shit at what looked to he a hopeless situation and mutiny him. They were cut off, out of supply and reienforcements, outnumbered and out gunned, and then on top of that the general is pushing them harder and harder. People have a limit, sooner or later they'll push back.
14:25 that's the most realistic "tank running over wounded man" cliché I've seen in a long time.
I have only seen it one other time in a Band of Brothers clip. Is it really so overused that it's a cliche?
@@radioactiverat8751 y e s
This is so underrated for a person who should go down in history!!
You know, when I first watched this I was surprised that it was pretty heavily from the Tan perspective. But after a while, I'm glad it is. We so often see it as 'Green good, Tan bad' amd never really consider why. Its a good switch up and extraordinarily well done.
