I want to fix the leaking problems that lead to these kinds of “other” damage people don’t realize is happening. How did you clean it btw??? Or did you just replace it with a new part? I’m so glad I watched this video. I will definitely not be buying those cars with weather strip problems. I do not want to deal with mold. People get sick when hanging around mold. If you drive a car that’s mold infested and not know that you’re in its presence, you can get sick and spend tons and tons of money on dr bills when the problem was the mold infestation you could not see. Thanks again my friend. You’re saving me money and my health.

Greetings from Chicago USA! Joe, do you think when removing that brittle piece of trim over the door by applying some heat like with a blow dryer would help? Maybe it would warp do to how thin the piece is? BIG SHOUT OUT to the video gentleman (Martin} he's a good man for volunteering his time and he also does a great job.

Dane, in my 3000gt, it seems the headliner fabric extends from the board and is affixed to the rubber trim/seal of the moonroof. I reckon that means having to take the seal off but I have not tried it and was also hoping to understand how that could be done properly before I went ahead and got myself a leaky car.

Hi Heather. I clean and re-use the headliner. Spray on dry foam and gently scrub with soft brush. Then hoover clean. Thanks for watching.
