  • I bought a giant grand concerto piano for $53,000. It was Chopin's favorite brand.
The real piano is the grand piano. Upright pianos are portable pianos.

Dear Lord! After watching your videos two months ago, I have become super motivated to restart piano playing. I bought a digital piano on the first weekend. And now after 2 months here is my upright piano aswell (I saved him from destruction) You gave me some kind of addiction to acoustic pianos. I'm just learning to play, adjust and tune it (I'm a super motivated crazy engineer). Your videos bringed me back to piano playing after 20 years of pause. Thank you for it, and just like to wish you lot fun with your grand piano!

Ain't it GRAND when you finally obtain some rare, and wonderful instrument related to your craft? This is true whether it is a musician's instrument, or a mechanic's tool. As an electronics engineer, and one who has always collected and been fascinated by fine communications receivers, as a kid I would turn to the pages in the old Allied Radio catalog where the Hammarlund receivers were, and drool. They were FAR, beyond my meager budget at the time. Years later, I remember my pleasure and satisfaction when I was able to buy my first Hammarlund, an HQ-140-X. By then Hammarlund was no longer in business, and now, a number of decades later still, their radios are sought after collectibles, among the very finest radios made in their day. So, I understand the feeling. Congratulations, and Enjoy !

Not to be funny, but that has to be one of the best sounding grands, IMO, that I have ever heard; and I have played on proper Steinways. It's so gentle and classic sounding. Soft to the ear.

You are very lucky to be able to afford that. I love to listen to piano musicians like yourself. I have Hemophilia and on Disability and i cant even afford to buy an old Yamaha mm6 keyboard. Ive been wanting to learn piano since 1984 but my condition has made it difficult as i get injured all the time. Now with mew medicines over the past couple of years, i dont get hurt, and I am going to try again to take lessons and have someone come over to teach me.
Thank you for your playing and your humor. At the end of the day and you wonder if you have made a positive difference in someones life, you can rest easy and know that you did.
You should do a Live Stream concert.
