    Great analysis and historical context.
    The only thing lacking to me it seems is an acknowledgement that the piece seems a radical call to action.
    "Come out to show them" as recontextualized from the voice of Daniel Hamm feels as though it is a direct call to nonviolent political action.
    The core of the call to action in the phrase is what has stuck with me.
