I had the Mangaleesta pork ONCE @ Baker's Green Acres in Marion, MI at my very first 'pig roast'....(a Fundraiser for Legal Defense Fund). * * * Delicious!!! * * * I had a hard time believing it was pork too!! It was a red meat. Mmmmmm I need to buy some for myself. Couldn't at the time since our Farmer was being harassed & crucified by our local DNR -(Dept. of Natural Resources)and the state of MI for harboring "Feral Pigs'... and wasn't 'allowed' to sell any. His meat processor also could no longer serve this farmer. Thank God Mark Baker WON against the state for not only his good but for OUR good too. He stood up for OUR Food Freedoms, Freedom of Speech, Freedom to Farm, etc. This was just Industrial Ag trying to eliminate another Family Farm - a Healthy, humane, organic local farmer.. WITH the help of our MI State leaders. OMG. What next?
