Just imagine all of the history that a house from the 1600's has seen. The tales it could tell. The same with the plantation house, that must have seen alot of sadness. The last story, the grandfather was definitely there. Since he didn't care too much for animals, I bet that's why Smuckers was shaking like a leaf. Atleast that's my guess. I always love the Night Drive, thanks to everyone who shares their stories here. I know it doesn't mean much, but I believe everyone here and am thankful for all who share. Another fantastic episode.
I've been listening to Tape Library for a while before I realised Night Drive existed. I love both channels, and I plan to email you and see if there is anything I can do to help. I have certain skills and qualifications that I'd be happy to offer for free. Without wanting to overstep the mark. I really want success for this channel because - honesty - it has and continues to give me some escape from a currently pretty dreadful day to day reality (serious illness).
Glad it's been helpful in whatever small way it can be. Feel free to email me whenever (although I am sometimes terrible at keeping up with them, just to pre-warn you!)
if you’ve never experienced anything to make you believe in the paranormal, I’m happy for you. It’s not a cool thing or badge of honor. It is deeply disturbing and can really mess your mind up.
I submitted the second story, Jericho Plantation. If anyone has any questions for me, feel free to ask! Thank you again for featuring both of my submissions. I may send you a couple more; one isn't a ghost story and the other is something my mom experienced. I also have one about some incidents involving my grandmother shortly before she passed. The last story really got me. It reminded me of when my grandfather was in the hospital, dying from congestive heart failure. At one point he opened his eyes and said, "Hi Pop!" We found out later from his sister that was what he called their dad growing up. When my great-grandfather came home from work, my granddad would greet him by saying "Hi Pop!" I believe those who've gone on before us are there to lead us to whatever is next when our time comes.
Please, do send more stories in. I'll always encourage people to send in as much material as they can to be used in the Night Drive videos. The more videos that can be made, the more we can listen to this wonderful channel. Thank you for your contribution.
I don’t have questions really, but I’d be feeling both uneasy because of all the activity and also honored to be so close to such important history. It seems maybe the history was still alive and speaking in ways. Thanks for sharing your experience and thanks for sharing history of the location as well ❤❤❤
@@agent3557 Thank you for your comment and I'm glad you liked my story. I grew up near a lot of historical sites like Colonial Willamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, Richmond etc. Appamattox was near where I went to college and I used to go there to tour the battlefield and the house where Lee officially surrendered to Grant. The last trip I made with my dad before he passed was to the Mariners Museum where we saw them doing preservation work on The Monitor, the Union Civil War vessel that sank off the Virginia coast. Unlike the previous house that was in the last video, I didn't really feel too uneasy in this one. It was a little unnerving at first but I never felt threatened or really fearful.
@@ambrabridges2161 yeah didn’t seem like they intended any harm. I’m glad they seemed to settle. Part of me likes to think maybe they found peace. I visited Gettysburg with my kids- that was heavy. I want to go again. I didn’t see anything paranormal but I didn’t have to. The air just felt thick with memory anyways- you get it I’m sure. One thing I do is check out historic graves- there’s several around I know of I have a respect for- civil war soldiers, revolutionary soldiers ( a nurse even) , underground rail road conductors, civil right leaders, tribal war chiefs, unmarked mass graves of our poor houses and native tribes. That kind of history…. Sometimes it still has things to say :)
Awesome episode! #4 & #6 were especially intriguing. All of these stories are proof of how complex humanity really is. How much we do not understand of our existence. There is so much more than simply living in the World, so much beyond that we cannot or are afraid to explain. Sometimes, things are dark simply because no light has been shone upon them. Then again, some things are dark because they are not meant to be seen and stay away from light for different reasons and "those" things...should never be looked upon. My thanks to all who have contributed. And a special thanks to you, my good man, for bringing them to us! Stay the course and may fair winds follow.
Fantastic episode! Thank you to all who share their experiences. Love listening to these videos while getting ready for bed, it creeps me out, but in a exciting way.
45 minutes of Night Drive stories to listen to? Score! There's my bedtime listening sorted out for tonight. Perfect length for this type of video, IMO. Thanks Tape Library.
Hi TL and NDP, another great episode! I really enjoyed stories 3, 4, and 7. Particularly, 3. I live in AZ, all my life, and that story rly intrigued me ! Thanks for giving us both channels and ur time. I enjoy them both. Keep up the great work. We appreciate u ! ❤ - AP
@ALPeters-tk6hp Thank you. One of the things I left out of the story was that we would post staff at the basketball court, and they would turn their heads back and forth due to fear. I'm sorry, but it was funny to see. 🤣🤣🤣 I kept out because it was irrelevant to the story.
Another super creepy one, thanks so much! And thanks to all those who shared their personal stories with you so that you could take us on these spooky night drives 🥰
TL- I listened to this finally at 4am- I love the full moon drive- I imagine the moon was full when you wrote this? It was a crazy beautiful moon this last full moon I was constantly watching it :). Yes you did give me a satisfying intro last video and this one ;) I recall my last complaint ;) Also- crazy about those footsteps you heard!! I’ve heard podcasters before mention how they sometimes get creepy shit happening while they create and produce- keep telling us these events ❤❤❤
Case #5. Thank you for sharing your story. I've never had any U.F.O. experiences. But I live here in Phoenix, Arizona. A while back we experienced the "Phoenix lights." I was not witness to it. But I used to ride my road bike up to South Mountain in south Phoenix at night. One night, I rode up to the tower's (S.M.highest road point), and I thought to myself. If I am abducted, if I'm lucky, they'll find my bike. I scared the hell out of myself and couldn't come down fast enough. Needless to say, I don't ride up there at night anymore.
Nice! I love your vids and your voice, its calming. I have a suggestion/wish, I would love a compilation off all your stories or them you are most proud of. Like a 3-4hour compilation :). I know it would takes alot off your time and I absolut understand if you dont have the time or the energy for a vid like that:) Its just a wish , keep up the good work man :)
I kinda miss the feel of the first episode when you told it like a story of riding in the car and the stories were on the radio. But I love your telling anyway :) I may have to email in my own story.
Love listening to all the stories in the tape library and here. I actually submitted a story to the email link a bit ago. Well see if it makes it on any of the new videos. If not i understand. I do have a lot of experiences to talk about revolving around possible ghosts, shadow people, ufo sightings, bizzare dreams and sleep paralysis. Regardless, will keep watching every new post cause i love hearing peoples personal stories.
Hey! It's very likely I haven't gotten to it yet. I only respond to emails when I'm about to include them in a video, otherwise it just gets way too confusing for me to keep track. For context I think all of these stories were submitted back in May.
I'm sorry, I can't help it, the "flying ruby" made me laugh! It's not because I doubt this guy's word or anything, to me it's just a funny image! I'm in jewelry making and familiar with gemstones so I can really picture this, lol. I think if I'd seen it myself I might have been inclined to laugh! Sure, frightened too, but somehow laugh ing anyway, lol, sorry again! 😆

Well- I believe there are supernatural or paranormal forces out there and I find it very intriguing what/who they are and why they do what they do. I love a mystery.
I really enjoyed these stories, as I usually do. I, like you, watch alot of politics & your channels are a nice break from the real life horror sometimes in politics (I won't mention names), although, often spirits are because of past life horror as in the story about the Slave plantation land.
I've always covered stories outside the paranormal, on this channel and on @thetapelibrary. So nothing has changed, my main focus is the paranormal stuff but I like to have a little variety.
@@NightDriveParanormal Thank you for responding. I have nothing against the variety. I've just watched channels that said they were paranormal then went all to alien and UFO. But I love the ghost stuff most of all. And I do love your channels. You make great videos.
32:50 Again, Americans don't know(and don't want to know, out of total ignorance) the *proper* names for floors in buildings. Entry level is *GROUND FLOOR* and up one level is *FIRST FLOOR* then, perhaps if up one more level, *SECOND FLOOR!*
Could be a locality thing. For instance, here in my state, older homes are almost always 1 story. Basements also don't exist here. I've never lived in a house with either of those. Apartments, hotels and motels refer to the ground level as 1st floor here also. 😅
