It turns out that only the black&white version of the shoe have the plastic buckle. Thanks to this video I cancelled my order (which was exactly as yours) and reordered it in another color!
I'd definitely recommend them for squats. I've repped out close to 4 plates in these and they feel really solid. Can't make a claim regarding weightlifting since I'm a powerlifter. Wouldn't recommend for deadlifts - the raised heel is a disadvantage when pulling. Hope this helps!
any views on orthotics (custom insoles) for these shoes? I need custom insoles mostly for midfoot support but also arch support (flat feet). My insoles don't have a very thick heel but the arch is.
I've never tried orthotics with these shoes, so can't say for sure how well they'd fit, but they are a bit on the roomy side compared to say Adidas Powerlifts, so I'd say it's worth a try.
@@ManFactoryLife Thanks for the input, gonna see if I can order some soon. There ain't really shops around here that have weightlifting shoes so I'm forced to order online. But for orthotics, I indeed need a bit roomier shoes, especially around the arch area.
I bought these 2 years ago. They're great for squat, and overall solid shoes. There's only one bad thing about them. You can't clean them. Don't know what material is that white thing in front, but you can't maintain that and clean it, mission impossible
Cracks me up when ppl buy all this special gear like shoes, straps, grips, belts, and other bullshit when they’re clearly novices and don’t need it. Bust your ass for 5 years and get actually strong first, then buy the gear to break through plateaus. If you’re struggling to squat 225 for 5-10 reps, you don’t need special shoes. But people want to think they’re cool so 🤷🏾♂️
Great video, man!! I bought one, only waiting it to arrive here

Glad I could help dude!

How did the plastic buckle keep up over time? Thanks. Good video
Hi Marius! So far so good.
would you recommend this shoes to be your principal shoes to weightlifting and squats session? and can be used to do deadlift? thanks and nice video

@@ManFactoryLife thanks a lot dude, and would you recommend them to do deadlift or you will use another shoes?
Like I said, these aren't good for deadlift. I personally like deadlift slippers.
Great video ; do you recommend the fit for a colapse arch feet ? I really appreciate the reply
Nice video dude
Did the plastic buckle keep up over time? Thanks in advance

Did that plastic buckle hold up?
How are the sizes in these shoes did you have to go a half size bigger or were they pretty exact to your actual size. Thanks
They are big, its recommended to get them one size smaller
I actually found them to be right on the money for me. I'm normally a men's 11, and these were 11's and fit perfectly.
@@ManFactoryLife I am an 11 also and got 11's fit perfect
I went half a size smaller i more then likely fit a whole size down but I have issues with blisters atm
How would these shoes work as a everyday shoe? My Adidas terrek shoes have a 1 inch heel, I wear them everyday.

Thx mate
Honestly you should lift bare foot
