This is referencing Microsoft Copilot 365 and it isn’t available to the general public. You need to be an enterprise customer willing to buy 300 licenses at $30 a pop…that’s $9,000 a month… this would be a great video if it was available to everybody

It's a annual agreement so it will be 108k a year for the 300 users just for the CoPilot add-on. And that's not counting the M365 E3/E5 licensing for those 300 users. So add another 129k for M365 E3 and the grand total is around $240k a year for 300 users. Hopefully in the near future Microsoft will allow single use licensing for the little guys to be able to use CoPilot.

This video is an extension of the marketing from Microsoft. 99% of Office users don't have access to this supposed capabilities.
Although we have the license, not able to add copilot in in public preview. What gives?

I wish was that easy... Microsoft announce copilot back to March, 16th btu for only a few people has access. Then, November 1st for enterprise but you need to have at least 300 licenses E5 to be able to activate the copilot feature. Unless they are making available now for more users. I have E5 for all my users but I'm still waiting. Would you mind sharing the link for this Microsoft Documentation page? I can't find it.

u need win 11 and to activate copilot, also I think you need to have the proper Microsoft Office licenses.

Yes, you need a minimum of 300 seats at an additional $9k/MO in an E3/E5 enterprise subscription level. Until their pricing is revamped, this is out of reach for all users other than the major corporations. Their pricing is actually insane and out of touch. Our organization has 1200 users and that would cost us more than $432,000.00 per year or $36000.00 per month. Simply untenable.
Not anymore. 365 individual with $20 a mo for word/powerpoint/excel, or $30 a mo for enterprise of any seats for the rest.

Not a bad vid, but by just narrating Microsoft promotion material withouth showing any new content or live experiences, it isn't what I hoped it to be.
Microsofts videos and demo's have been prepped to show optimal results, it is more interesting to see how it holds up against real unstructured work content. And how much you need to rework the result to actually get an acceptable outcome. I'd love to see a video on that. Sadly, this is not it.
Andy we can tell from your tone of voice, sadly like a lot of channels with the prefix of AI today on YT, that you used ChatGPT or a 1 button prompter to generate a script like a pawn of Microsoft's marketing department. You need to do better than just write an extended featured ad for your sponsor!
kind of useless to me, since I don't have any "copilot" icon on my office, and don't have a clue on how to get it.
I can already see the people caring less about organizing projects and files because the AI can do it for you. This will result in poor work of actual employees that get replaced with AI.
A lot of these features would not be needed if people just stay organized. Many of these tools are solving issues that shouldn't be there in the first place.
This isn't necessarily bad, but will take away control from the humans to AI.
Example:
- Organizing e-mails will disappear, folders and tags will not be necessary anymore because AI can just find what you're looking for
- Organizing company files will be much simpler, because AI will be able to do it for you
- Letting AI decide what you should focus on and pre-write your E-Mails will either kill e-mails completely or be a very frustrating experience as humans expect an answer from a person and not from an AI
Many of these changes really don't sound that beneficial to me, or have some side effects that make it harder for humans to work.
Ok grandpa relax, this is not for you, and actually this are barely the beginnings of AI interacting for real with us, in the future they will do A LOT MORE. I'm waiting for it to have the functions i need, but not there yet.
@@cheogt4623 deserved roast, lol. I totally agree that AI will do a lot more and that businesses and workflows have to adapt. My point is that AI still is only a small tool to assist in existing workflows, and it's nowhere ready to do bigger tasks that require communication between teams etc.
I think it's important to remember that AI is not the solution for everything (yet). Changes in software (even with AI) are not always beneficial. It really depends on the workflows and how it can be used.
But yeah, probably with 34, I am just too, haha ;)

°•°• I believe we are meant to be like Jesus in our hearts and not in our flesh. But be careful of AI, for it is just our flesh and that is it. It knows only things of the flesh (our fleshly desires) and cannot comprehend things of the spirit such as peace of heart (which comes from obeying God's Word). Whereas we are a spirit and we have a soul but live in the body (in the flesh). When you go to bed it is your flesh that sleeps but your spirit never sleeps (otherwise you have died physically) that is why you have dreams. More so, true love that endures and last is a thing of the heart (when I say 'heart', I mean 'spirit'). But fake love, pretentious love, love with expectations, love for classic reasons, love for material reasons and love for selfish reasons that is a thing of our flesh. In the beginning God said let us make man in our own image, according to our likeness. Take note, God is Spirit and God is Love. As Love He is the source of it. We also know that God is Omnipotent, for He creates out of nothing and He has no beginning and has no end. That means, our love is but a shadow of God's Love. True love looks around to see who is in need of your help, your smile, your possessions, your money, your strength, your quality time. Love forgives and forgets. Love wants for others what it wants for itself. Take note, true love works in conjunction with other spiritual forces such as patience and faith (in the finished work of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, rather than in what man has done such as science, technology and organizations which won't last forever). To avoid sin and error which leads to the death of our body and also our spirit in hell fire, we should let the Word of God be the standard of our lives not AI. If not, God will let us face AI on our own and it will cast the truth down to the ground, it will be the cause of so much destruction like never seen before, it will deceive many and take many captive in order to enslave them into worshipping it and abiding in lawlessness. We can only destroy ourselves but with God all things are possible. God knows us better because He is our Creater and He knows our beginning and our end. Our prove text is taken from the book of John 5:31-44, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, Daniel 7-9, Revelation 13-15, Matthew 24-25 and Luke 21. Let us watch and pray...
