    We are in Florida so I was draining it every day because it’s super humid here but if you’re in a dry place like Arizona, you may never have to dry it drain it

    If you hook a hose to the top drain hose and run it outside would that drain both the dehumidifying water and AC condensation as well? I am thinking a hole drilled trought the wall would be a permenant drain. That low drain is a bugger to get to.

      Yes, when I drained mine, I stuck a cookie sheet under it. The only thing I could think to do besides putting the hose on it and running it into a bucket. One guy stuck it up on a wooden box so that he could drain it good luck thanks for watching.

      I think it’s a half inch or something like that. Good luck thanks for watching.

    Is it possible to run the until with the upper drain hose attached all the time? I’m currently setting the same model up, and the instruction manual didn’t specifically indicated whether to, *or not to* leave the *upper drain hose* attached all the time, so at least that portion can drain constantly. Thanks in advance ✌🏻🙂

      @@TomLeeman - Thanks a bunch for your response! I’m considering letting it drain into an empty 2 liter bottle, maybe. God bless ✌🏻🇺🇸

    Can I have the drain on it 24/7? I don’t have the cap lol

      You could put a hose on it leading into a bucket but would have to raise it

    Can you just leave the bottom drain hose attached all the time instead of having to drain it all the time?

    • @TomLeeman
      @TomLeeman  23 дня назад +1

      I think you could do that. Just have a drain into something.

    How often do you drain?

    • @TomLeeman
      @TomLeeman  2 дня назад

      I would say every couple days if you’re in a super humid area like Florida

    Do you know if there are two seperate tanks that both need to be drained?

      If you look on the back, you should see two caps and that’s where you would drain it. Good luck thanks for watching. Stay cool this summer.

      I depends on the model and brand but usually the top one is tray that collect water from the dry mode or dehumidifier
      The bottom one is the condensator, which you have to regularly drain so the unit works efficiently . How regular as far as im concerned it depends on where you live and how humid it is there

      Yikes mine is new and after 2 nights it was draining from the hose into a bucket a lot. Now I’ll try and drain the bottom one. Wish me luck. It seems like too much water to me… Thank for the video.

      @@chrisperry7601 It always depends on the type of AC you have. If it is not a self-evaporating AC then you will have a lot of water and could be a few gallons a day depending on how humid it is.
