    Hi there,
I found you on reddit haha. Can you provide specific salaries for those who come right out f a BSN program for instance and apply for clinical research nurse positions......then apply for a CRA position (salary for this one as well)....then salary for CRA II as well as a salary for a senior level CRA and how long it would take between each role to advance.
    Thank you

I have a video here on RUclips that details CRA salaries that can serve as a rough guide. That question has become impossible to answer since 2022. Some places offer unusally high salaries in 2022 that we are unlikely to see again. The salary sheet on Reddit shows that salaries are all over the place too. Research nurse positions generally pay between $75k-$100k with $85k-$90k being realistic.

Hi Mario, I'm currently a research nurse in New Zealand (oncology) and thinking about appying CRA role in Australia. I run several oncology clinical trials (early phase, phase 2 & phase 3 trials) in coordination with CRC & PI on site at the moment. Would you recommend going straight to CRA role or experiencing CRC and then applying CRA role later? Thinking PPD entry level CRA in Brisbane. Appreciate your advice. Thank you!

Hi Haewon, thanks for checking out my RUclips channel. Given your experience as a research nurse, I would jump straight into the CRA role. The hiring market for new CRAs in most places is great currently and you’ve got a good background. PPD entry level is an excellent role to aim for. Good luck!

It's a great time to transition to the CRA role. There are several CROs taking nurses with no CRA experience and training them. It'll be helpful if you have a BSN though they may consider an RN. Just be mentally prepared for a lot of travel if you get the position (assuming you take a field monitoring position).

I've just discovered your channel and love the content so far.
I have my BSN and hated being a nurse.
I'm looking for a CRA or trial monitor role and researching the difference btwn the two.
Can't for the life of me find a company that will even look at my resume with no experience though...
