Here’s an idea, why does it seem that N and J remained the same in character while V is clearly deranged? Also the way drones like N radically shift demeanor when killing, like N laughing maniacally when on his killing spree but nowhere else.

But also, she probably just killed so much that she can't find it within herself to feel bad about what she's doing. In war, people change. Some get shellshock, others may crave killing people, or are just "_totally fine_" killing people only to follow orders that were given.
It was literally confirmed in the first episode how Uzis mother died. She got stung by one of the drones (possibly J since her solver was able to project her image) and Khan eventually used the wrench he later gave Uzi to put his wife out of her misery.
Possibly there was more to the story-Uzis mom could have been changing into a murder drone or something. Seems like a weird thing to completely make up though. I’m pretty sure whatever the case was Khan did probably kill her with the wrench.
no you might be on to something the attack could have unlocked Absolute Solver over the damage causing her to lose control of herself. the symbol uzi and doll the character at the end has is the same as that so maybe there's more to "Absolute Solver" then its lead on.
For some reason I feel like Uzi’s mom wasn’t in any real danger. I think Kahn was being next level awful by beating her to death with the wrench just because he didn’t approve of her treating Uzi so kindly. He just seems to me like the kind of guy that would do that

Probably a hot take but my favorite character is actually J. I think theres a lot more to her than just being the “evil one”. Unlike V who treats hunting workers as sport and does it for fun, J treats it more like a job(hence why the crew refer to her as a “lethal workahaulic”) and is mostly in it for the potential rewards that the company will give them. This also implies she is legit unaware of the fact they are designed to die off when the job is done and legitimately thinks she’ll get special treatment if her squad does well enough. Basically I think theres a lot that could be explored with J as a robot so fiercely loyal to her human masters, which is why I was pretty bummed when they seemingly killed her off in the pilot and even more so when they gave a giant monster her hairstyle. I sincerely hope she makes a real comeback later and goes through and actual arc, she just has too much potential for it to be thrown away like that.
Liam will most definitely bring her back in the future, since the black orb matter seems to have a type of connection with the absolute solver. Plus she seems important to the cast.

I find it interesting how the flashback shows hints of the re programming done to turn the 3 servants into murder drones. N was always eager to please so they turned that into a drive to do his job effectively. J was always domineering so they made her into the leader, as a perfect company spokesperson. V was shy and awkward so they removed all feeling to ensure she would become a ruthless killer.

An interesting topic for Murder Drones would be a deep dive into their biomechanical makeup. From having mouths that create saliva to even being able to sweat somehow, these drones seem suspiciously overdesigned. Then there's episode 2 showing what was left of J and the Absolute Solver being almost half organic in looks, really gnarly, what with the implications.
The absolute solver was half-organic because human corpses (from the cryosleep pods) were the first things it assimilated

It seemed to be half-organic the moment it was revealed, and the cryo-pod humans had no flesh left to assimilate (they were all skeletonized like the others, and probably had been for years). At most, it would have eaten their bones. Note the fleshy ribcage and central scuttler that appeared to have a heart draped over it before it even left J's body.
@@syweb2 If you look carefully, the programme was inside a human rib cage as it assimilated with a human heart that was most likely preserved by the cold temperature on Copper 9.
From what I can tell, Absolute Solver is less of a program and more of a bridge between "organic" and "artificial". For instance, look at the way the flesh seems to seamlessly blend together with the metal (the hand, the heart, and the patches of skin on the monster's back are good examples). Coupled with the black holes generated after its destruction, I think that Absolute Solver might be something completely outside our precption of man and machine.
Also they can reproduce it seems... Given we see a baby Uzi as am egg with a screen on it
I believe the reason why the humans are obscured is because we’re seeing that flashback through N’s eyes. He was definitely programmed to forget his past life, which would affect his memory of what the humans looked like.
I'm still a bit jealous of Liam Vickers. Glitch basically told him "Okay so you create a story and characters for a series, and we'll fully animate it for you".
I also create stories, and I'm really proud of the deep lore and characters and the humour and interactions in my stories. And yet, most people don't seem to care at all about the efforts I put in my work.
It would be a dream come true for me to have someone wanting to animate a story I created, like it happened with Liam Vickers, but despite my efforts, that ain't happening anytime soon.
According to the interview with Liam and Glitch, it was a much more collaborative two-way process for comping up with the show.

Well for example, there's my show concept. It would be the story of the people living on Reunisland. A small island away from the mainland of this world (which is different from ours).
In the underground of the island are ruins holding an incredible power, and the main characters are tasked with protecting this power.
They mostly have to protect it against the main villain : Dark Script, who often sends creatures to defeat the main characters. He's dangerous, but also kinda strange, as when he sends a creature, he will contact the main characters and tell them all about it, thinking that it won't matter because he'll still win. Except he doesn't.
This show will have all the characters I've created since 2017 (that's when I started creating characters). Not all of them have deep backstories and deep personalities, but they still have personalities, so these could be used as background characters, basing myself on their personality, I could make them do stuff other than just standing there in the background and go to places that fit with their personalities. Basically lively background characters
The main cast is :
- Aubrin, a 18 years old who creates machines. He really creates a lot of machines and they're often used against him. Because he acts nice with everyone, even people who want to harm him. Not because he's naive, but because he thinks that if he's nice even to mean people, they'll become better. Works sometimes but it mostly doesn't.
-Zardix, 18 years old. He's Aubrin's brother and he's jealous of him, to the point where he tries to kill him, but always fails in a cartoony way. Zardix has a lot of insecurities and he's gonna have lots of character development.
- Oceane (yes, my persona), 19 years old. She's shy and introverted, and seems to have done things she regrets in the past. Not gonna spoil though. She's Aubrin's cousin.
- Milicent, or Mil for short, 20 years old. She's Oceane's girlfriend (Oceane's a lesbian and Mil's pansexual). She's that girl who speaks in innuendos and jokes that fly over kids' heads. Oceane and her are opposites and they complete each other.
- Tamia, mentally 18 but physically only a few years old. Oceane's sister. Kinda. She's a sentient AI created by Dark Script who turned against him, all the AI he created turned against him because his arrogance makes him unbearable in a daily life. And Oceane and Tamia became close to the point of considering the other as a sister. There's something else behind that but spoilers. Tamia's pretty fun to be around, but she can lose her temper at times when something really pisses her off.
The main character is Aubrin, but a lot of the heavy lore is around Oceane. I didn't want my character to be the center of everything like that, but since this show is a mix of everything I created since 2017, my persona obviously has more stuff to base myself on for the story.
This show will have a lot of 4th wall breaks. It will even have a little intermission in the middle of the episode called "4th wall break" (you know, like a little break where they break the 4th wall). In this, two characters, Talia and Kyuna, will explain some stuff about the lore, the world they live in, since it's not Earth, and is a different society than ours.
It's something that will be explored. The difference in culture and rules between our world and theirs. There are lots of stuff I didn't mention, like most of the minor characters, other villains outside of Dark Script and some concepts that are an important part of the life in this world. But this comment is long enough and it's not fun if I reveal everything.
And like, that's only one of my stories. There's also the story for my video game concept (that is also rather ambitious but I won't talk about it right now unless you wanna know because I wrote a lot already and we wouldn't see the end of it) and all the smaller stories based on worlds I didn't create, like the Undertale AU Reunitale that started everything back in 2017.
Or my Pokemon story. The lore of Pokemon is a lot deeper than it seems, and my story touches on concepts Game Freak doesn't talk about in their main stories and instead bury deep in a few dialogue boxes nobody remembers.
Like Pokemon Life Force and how it's used in the Pokemon society as a limitless energy source, except that it can only be obtained by draining it from Pokemon. Not only it's a very painful process, but also I'll let you imagine what happens when a Pokemon doesn't have Life Force in their bodies anymore. Death.
As you can tell, I have many ideas, but what do you think of those ?
@@Oceane1803 they sound promising. Why not hire someone that can draw digitally and post it on WEBTOON? If it gets popular enough it can come of canvas (essentially WEBTOONs that are posted on their more as a proof of concept) and it’ll be on WEBTOON originals where you can get paid.
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Doll turned out to be the fourth worker drone in N’s flashback. It was even said by the adult that Tessa(I think that’s her name) tends to dress up the drones like dolls, it could also explain the glare J gave her when Doll locked the door to the class. She probably knew who or what Doll was, we also saw J annoyed when Tessa brought in the fourth drone.
I know there eyes and hair don’t match but all there accessories could just be add ons since we saw Ozzie’s dad take oof his mustache.
Happy to see the show is getting some recognition. And I'm excited for ep 3
Is everyone missing the obvious plot device of the absolute solver?
think about it, the whole fandom has been theorizing since the trailer that Uzi was half murder drone in some way, and now she has the absolute solver messing with her head. Which means even if it was somehow activated by J using the emp thing in the pilot and the crates labeled absolute solver already on the planet suggests that the absolute solver was already in place before the planet was destroyed, so while it was clearly reprogrammed remotely for the murder drones, the absolute solver is a program much older than the murder drones or maybe even the worker drones, perhaps even an old forgotten program that was brought back for the murder drones as hinted by the mom hologram in ep 1 saying Uzi "doesn't remember them"
I'm guessing at some point Uzi will just about die, and the absolute solver will rebuild her as a murder drone, and N will have to help Uzi get through that or even protect the worker drones from her.
Besides in episode 2 we can see that one of her eyes turns yellow which is the main color associated with murder drones
Well what noticed from episode 2 opening on N flashback is that V was wearing glasses and was have a bit of feeling for N. My thoughts are that maybe the humans saw N and V have feeling for each other and they didn't like it so they may have taking V one day and did something to her mind and change her. It just my thoughts on what might happen to her

I would highly recommend you take a listen to the QnA segments at the early preview screenings for episode 2. There's a lot of nuggets in those that either clarify or cast some things into a different light. For instance, Liam confirms those were humans in the mansion segment, but also casts some doubt into what that sequence really was.
As far as other video topics go, people have been looking into what V meant by the Workers not being innocent in this whole situation. It's definitely an interesting tidbit to mull over.

N: Lawful Good (misguided)
V: Chaotic Evil (she did show some form of loyalty to something at the end of Ep 2, bumping her closer to Chaotic Neutral. Still not enough to change her CE placement, though.)
J: Lawful Evil (I'm not including Absolute Solver J)
Doll: Not enough data (based on what we have seen, I'd have to guess Lawful Neutral, but she hasn't done anything other than protect a friend - see Lizzy - and look menacing.)
Lizzy: Not enough data (while not as evil as the Murder Drones, she has shown evil traits, such as her mocking of Doll's parents, and her generally rude behavior)
Uzi: Chaotic Good (for now. Who knows how that will change in the episodes to come)
Thad: Neutral Good (just based on what we've seen, that being his willingness to leave the shelter of the bunker to deliver Uzi's railgun, his willingness to work with a Murder Drone, and his willingness to help out a robot that is generally seen as a social outcast. Nothing else has really stood out to me, and he hasn't been shown on-screen to do anything to change his alignment chart placing)
Uzi's Teacher: Not enough data (I'd guess Lawful Neutral, if you forced me to place him. The only reason he is here is because he's turning into one of my favorite characters. I don't think he is my definitive favorite, but he's up there.)
You should cover the absolute solver check back in the pilot when N is booting up again, slow down when uzi is standing on top of the car, and pause when uzi is about to shoot j but j shoots back.
2:27 still wrong. They were creeped out by the fact that the worker drones hair is real hair. Liam Vickers said this in a QnA
I think my favourite character is probably N, since I kin him. But Doll and V are incredibly interesting in my opinion. Doll is so interesting since all the other drones speak English, so she must have intentionally been programmed to speak Russian. And her funny thing where the cockroach exploded on her face, and she licked up the oil like nacho cheese. My bets are on her being a worker-murder drone hybrid. V I like because of her darker side. I like the way she seems calm usually and even acts soft, but as soon as she tastes oil, she goes hyper. I also LOVE her laugh, that iconic psychopath screech of a laugh. V could definitely be used loads and I can’t wait to see what happens for both her and Doll.
N and V as soon I saw the spark with them I knew it wasn't going to be just one sided thing so I can't wait to see what happens between them.
I think V might be jealous of Uzi getting N attention.

The reason why the human are black and glitchy is because Its a memory of N and hé doesnt remember how they look they arent aliens because we did see normal humane in hazmad suits in episode 1 at the begining

I think what will happen in the show is that j will be rebuilt but with the absolute solver eye uzi will take control of the body of J or V as it looks of the first episodes thumbnail. Then making uzi a murder drone and will go after the humans. this is a theroy i have come up with. Also with the russian girl i think she saw N kill her family and that is why she has a photo of him and will try to kill him later with her power
It was V who killed Dolls parents, hence when it went to the picture to V's face.

Even though this series is still new and fresh to me, I have admit that I like Uzi cause of her unique design, plus she's literally the only Worker Drone that's purple, Lizzie, mostly because of the cute bow she's wearing, Doll, because of her unique design and her quiet personality. It would actually be interesting if Doll turned out to be a Murder Drone that is infiltrating Uzi's Worker Drone colony. Speaking of which, I think Doll might be that fourth Worker Drone-turned-Murder Drone that was introduced in N's dream. As for the Murder Drones side, I actually liked J(I know, call me crazy). It's mostly because I like her design. Especially the fact that she looks like a robotic version of Hatsune Miku, in a Japanese schoolgirl uniform. Plus, I have a thing for Twin-tailed anime girls. N is a very close second because of his design and his conflicting personality. He also reminds me of myself. One second, I could be a vicious, ruthless Sith/Templar, then the next second, I would revert back to my Assassin/Jedi self with the good moral compass. V is pretty cute in her own way, aside from her sadistic, murderous tendencies. I started liking V more when I saw her as a kind-hearted French maid in the second episode, and those hints of kindness she showed N when he was depressed. Another thing I liked about V was her arsenal of weapons, and that she reminded me so much of 2B from Nier Automata. I hope Glitch continues with this series. I really want to see how these characters develop. For starters, Uzi's dad can quit being a spineless pussy. I wouldn't hesitate to save my anime daughters. Second, bring J back. Three, continue the series. This became another RUclips favorite for me, alongside Helluva Boss & Hazbin Hotel.
Great video! Although I actually have a different theory for what the purpose of the Absolute Solver is, while it’s obviously capable of causing damage to the worker colony I think its main objective is to repair the damaged murder drone, it’s essentially rummaging through everything it finds to look for the parts necessary to do the repairs, everything it can’t use for the repairs (construction equipment, damaged or low quality worker parts, frozen human corpses, etc.) it incorporates into a temporary collection form that is probably disposed of/cannibalized by the newly repaired drone, in regards to the wired wormhole things that appear when it’s destroyed, I think they’re ment to either destroy the collection form so it can’t be studied or possibly teleport it somewhere to be repaired in a safe facility

Actually episode 1 mentioned that Uzi's father ended Uzi's mother's life as a mercy who was being killed by a murder drone.
Amazing content as always CU! For a new show, the characters are already very interesting and I like the air of mystery to them as well. I really wanna know the deal behind N and his teams past more, and I especially want to know the deal behind Doll and her strange ability.

This is the topic I most enjoy him looking into
I think the absolute solver might be way more than just a backup program to gather more matter to regenerate the damaged host drone. Its lines on the 2nd episode, as well as its actions and appearance, left me with the impression that it can be some sort of eldritch horror AI that maybe not even the humans who programmed it understand its full potential and danger. The symbol that appears on Uzi's eye and also Doll's also seems to be connected to the absolute solver, implying that it isn't something exclusive to the disassembly drones
Murder Drones is filled with a cast of wacky robotic characters.
With most of them being in extremely traumatic situations.

I think the murder drones were made with military use in mind, I mean, look at what they are capable of, don't you think it's super excessive for some defenseless robots? I think they are just throwing them at the worker drones too see what they are capable of.

I was thinking that the oil thing would be like energon. That the oil from the drones would be produced by these... special machines to give the drones their power.
I also think that the Murderdrone's would have programs that would block these machines from their vision.
Anyone else find it kind of weird how the other characters react to death in the series. I mean I get it there robots so things like death may not affect them very much but it seems to be glossed over pretty hard. Unless they can somehow be restored there still gone for good.
Maybe it's the same as being in a war people get desensitised to it toma degree

Did anyone else notice that when Doll is showing flashbacks of a drone being killed that it had hair looking somewhat like uzi's moms? If you pause it, we can see that its purple along with the curl over the side that uzi also has along with her mother.
I love all of the characters, but was especially intrigued by Doll (not sure if thats how you spell it) She looks somehow related to Uzi and her mother, but I could be wrong. Either way, she seems like a really cool character, in addition to everyone else!

The purple eyes are from her mother genes since her hands also purple and yellow represent as murder drone which mean uzi have a chance to turned into one of them

Just a neat realization/theory I had after watching episode 2. The Disassembly Bots are actually robot vampires and since they aren't getting orders from the company to kill all the worker bots it could be a malevolent AI! Also saw an idea floating around that the shadow people in the background aren't actually humans but High intelligence AI that overthrew humanity and made there own robot servants!

Some random theory: so in episode 2 where uzi, N and thaid fight against this giant monster robot thing so when the robot says “its sad you don’t remember us” we see uzis mom with a baby then we see a flicker with her eye which is the absolute solver then the baby also gets a flicker the reason why nori basically acted insane and stuff the baby is actually uzi! Thats right the reason why uzi is acting weird is because her mom want crazy and the absolute solver i might think this why in ep 3 she gets the absolute solver (unless my memory lied) anyway that is my theory

A new episode of Murder Drines just came out a couple days ago.
To me, something sticks out. That classmate of Uzi's, Doll(?), who seems to have the same system that activated. However I don't think the Absolute Solver was actually a function of the Deconstructor Drones, rather it was a device that was within close proximity and activated, operating as a separate to the Murder Drones. However the alternative is that the "Absolute Solver" is something only some drones have, allowing for extra traits to develop.
I believe the flash back scene we saw at the beginning of episode 2 was a dream that N was having. The reason why humans looked like that is most likely because N can’t remember what they look like so the “brain” fills out what it CAN remember.
If every murder drone has a letter of the alphabet there should be a total of 26 murder drones. I think???
knowing the creators, they are using shadow figures to hid the appearance of humans to only focus on the characters and not those back on earth. my guess, later on and once they get to earth, then the humans will go from shadow to normal.
I feel like Tessa is going to repurpose Uzi in the next episode. I think the car at the end of episode 3 represents the next episode is going to have Doll and Uzi Repurposed as Murder Drones
And yet, the question of them having hair is still unanswered.

At the end of the pilot, we see three more pods approaching the planet. So even if the worker drones had waited for N, V, and J to starve, JCJenson would have simply sent more in their place. It might take an eternity for the workers to wait out every single squad the company could possible manufacture, so hiding underground might not be so convenient if they ever hope to have the planet for themselves.
Some extra things I noticed & speculations...
Khan openly states that he used the wrench he gives Uzi, to finish of her mom when she took a hit from the nanite acid.
The drones are coded in Java, C & C++.
The limitations on the emotional development of the drones is probably from a lack of capacity and relevant data.
Workers are neither waterproofed or EM shielded, and they run off batteries.
The disassembly trio seem to be modeled as vampires in how they behave.
If you watch with CC on the Human who is talking in front of N (start ep2) is Identified as James I suspect he is Tessa's father given the manner which he is speaking.
Tessa given how her height compares to the 4th unnamed Drone is probably a preteen child.
Given there is no presented time frame or location; it's too soon to guess when or where the flashback takes place only that it's prior to them being deployed. As the fight at the end of ep 2 take place in a cryo facility; as that can carry the implication of no FTL it's possible that both James and Tessa are long dead and/or the location of N's flashback is not earth but a closer location.
Possibly it's meant as a pun; but; V and N in the flashback also share a spark of romance, just before J interrupts in a Tsundere fashion. Though it's unclear if she is after N or given that she infects him with a virus in the pilot, that she is after V also that she appeared to have shown more effort/interest when targeting female drones. J is likely permanently dead with N destroying her core (or repair unit?)
The icon of the solver program appearing in both worker and disassembly drones it's possible there are 2 variants of the program. A base form that serves as the bots learning and re-tasking software with Absolute Solver being an AI backed variant in the Disassembly units. It is possible that Uzi and Doll have been due to trauma, designated as security drones; thus the solver program is pushing both to develop combat abilities, the example being that both show the icon while using Field Manipulation (Telekinesis.) and they both show disregard towards casual violence.
Doll may be targeting N for revenge. As she is holding a pic of him at the end of ep2.
My favorite character is N. Aside from what everyone else thinks about him, I believe him and Uzi can bring peace between humans and robots. Even though it probably won't happen its still nice to think about.....

Smth that i have noticed during the last episode is, that the murderdrones are unreasonably op, especially the absolute solver program. Why would so much force be mobilised to destroy the SEEMINGLY helpless workerdrones?
What about the human body parts seemingly just hanging around the warehouse that J's body was left in and started transforming in?
Also any thoughts on the 3 other pods that were teased in orbit at the end of the pilot? Does that mean we might get up to nine other disassembly drone characters later down the line (assuming each contains a squad of three drones)?
Someone better call up Mann Co. for all these bots if their rise up ever comes to fruition.

i think the shadows are acctualy humans . but in worker and murder drones progamm is progammed that they only can see these " shadows " . bc the humans (shadows) dont wanna let the robots see their faces and bodys (srry for my bad english)
the shadowy ''humans'' are actualy humans i think because they live in a MANSION so the are pretty inportant if you keep in mind that the mansion looks very old and robots of this level has been made so they are probably the upper ranks and for example in SCP universe the O-5 council members are alwais black (whole body not skin) stated in every animation and on the pages themself because they are the upper rank and runners of the SCP foundation so here could be the same theese people could be the runners of JC jenson or the company that made all the robots (wow this was long but worth it)
Maybe thats how robots remember what humans looks like. Their memory has been rebooted
