    Good work. For scooping bees I have found that a Doggie pooper scooper works great (cleaned or new of course) 🙂

    When it’s cold like that tack a bit of window screen on the entrance and add a feeder. They’ll quickly build comb and the queen will start laying. Remove window screen in a couple of days. Never use window screen in hot temps. Nice catch will be waiting on updates!

      Very good advice. I usually have some used comb to put in with them, but this time I did not.

    Hi, my name is Keith and I’ve been watching your RUclips channel with interest. I’ve just built a couple of top bar hives one which is operational and the other is waiting for late winter to put a package or a swarm in what I was wondering is the Dow you use in your top bar which I believe is for Con support does it work well cheers, Keith
