Me and Kevin both just bought a set of these and Myron sent us some H brackets... gonna be doing a video of the install as soon as they come in. Looks easy, good video!
Awesome! I'm gonna take em back out and fix up the seat belts like I talked about and add some grease to the tracks. Yep, nothing to it!! Holler if you need any tips etc. Thanks for watching!
Good job. Maybe use a little grease in the tracks instead of WD 40. Would probably get rid of the noise when adjusting the seat. The best way I've found to clean that type of seat is the Magic Eraser and 409 cleaner. We use those Magic Erasers on just about everything. My wife gets a bag full of them off Temu for cheap. Love the rig, have an 86 samurai myself.
Thanks man! Yep, I plan to take them back out and I have some special Honda Shinetsu grease for the tracks. I gotta yank them back out and fix those belts. Agree on the magic eraser for sure! They are a bit abrasive I think is why they clean so well! Thanks for watching man!
just got some T&C 2nd row seats for my 92 Geo tracker , going to need some help w the H brackets cause there only made for Samurais , thank you for the motivation
Is that a stock Samurai steering whee? If not, what’s it from? Thanks for the video! Just picked up some T&C seats today to install. I’ll be buying the same bracket from Zuksoffroad.
Thanks for watching. That's an aftermarket Grant GT wheel. I cut the center hub out of the factory steering wheel and bolted this one to it. Used 1/4" spacers to space it up away from the multi function levers etc. Works really good
You did it wrong. It would of takin you less time and less work if you'd bolted everything to the seat first then the last 4 bolts to the cabin. I did mines a while back, took me 5 minutes hardly any effort. Piece of cake. I'll tell you another secret, next time pick up yourself a pair of 2003 Nissan Altima front bucket seats at your local junk yard for cheap and you won't need brackets spacers because they fall right in the original locations like the og seats and you'll save that money for something else. Oh! And the Altima seats? They look a million times better on my 1990 suzuki samurai than those you installed on yours. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for documenting this install!
More than welcome! Thanks for watching!

Very Cool! Gonna have to find some T&C seat for my 87. One question: Wont the seat belt just click into the new seat?
Thanks! No, the receiver part of the buckle isn't made the same.
Great install. I notice the seat sat higher from the passenger side. Do you feel a height difference?
Just a bit. Not too bad at all
