  • Great run with warm water straight off the top of the dam. Harder than I thought it would be. Thanks for the lines Eric Jones.

    Nonstop Fun! We floated the upper sections from the Dam in a tandem ducky never going to this section though. Thanks for taking us along with you!

    First recorded time doing that line down teller tube I bet! Thanks for making this! Hopefully it'll get some people in there!

    Yo John, that was awesome. Right about 7 mins is an amazing rapid. Wow.

      Yeah Eric told me it was gonna be a big sweeping airplane boof. I was surprised how good of a run this is. The water is warm as it comes off the top of a dam and the rapids are big and continuous.

      I live downstream, that same rapid got my balls wet

    That's totally unique. Wow. Blackfoot R MT I have heard of. Not this one. You probably felt at home, it having boulder gardens like WV.

      Well the runs back east for the most part dont have the push and volume of water this run had. I had never heard of this run and was surprised at the size of the rapids.

    Just came across this. Incredible footage! My brothers and I have been floating the few miles just above Trail Creek Campground for years. I'm assuming this is miles down river from Trail Creek?

      Thanks, glad you liked the footage. I am not sure if this is the section below trail creek. I am from West Virginia and have only been there once.

    Another great video, thanks John. Am I the only one reminded of 70's porn by some of the music?

      Thanks unfortunately youtubes free uncopyrighted music doesn't have that great of a selection.

      I've never used youtube for creating videos, I use iMovie. You might be surprised how much music you actually can use on you tube, I just check my songs on this link first so I don't get unexpected copyright claims. ruclips.net/user/music_policies

    1:35. Did I mean to go river right of that rock

    • @JohnMoorekayak
      @JohnMoorekayak  5 лет назад

      No I think you got pushed that way accidentally and I followed.

      Okay I only paddled with Eric that day I thought maybe he was on here under a different name. We scouted teller tube and I just followed Eric's line. He told me later he didn't mean to goto the right of the rock.

      Great video. That’s a stout run. I ran it a few times in the late 90s. Walked a few drops at around 1,000 cfs.

      @@dg20120 it's showing 900 right now. I'm tempted to try this run. Do you think the level from this video at 750 to current level of 900 looks different? Just curious. It's looks doable for me possibly around 750
