- Black Hills South Dakota was awesome. The wife and I committed to 3 adventures this year and Black Hills did not disappoint. Upon arrival we took our machines down to the Adventure Rental Shop and asked for pointers on where we should go. The lady at the counter was extremely helpful and under 5 minutes she had us up to speed and 10 places pinned on our mapped. So off we went. With only a half day of daylight we were not sure what we were going to find. We found all kinds of places to explore in a very short distance from Hill City. Best part was we did it in less than half a day, We made it to Slate Dam, abandon gold mine, and a trail system that I could not safely make it up. Best part was this was only day one. West Virginia's Hatfield McCoy trail system was unique in its own way. The trails there were wet, hairpin turns, and challenging in a fun way. Where as South Dakota had the ability to run hard in any direction. The ability to climb to mountain peaks. The ability push through valley and pastures. The ability to see some breathtaking county. So I can say we will definitely be back and stay tuned for the rest for the trip.

Great content! We are looking at planning trip to the black hills to do some wheeling. Looks like a great trip!
Welcome to the channel good sir. 👍Appreciate the support. Definitely recommend heading out there. We will definitely be back. We are super excited for Moab. Next four weeks can't go fast enough.
Hill City is one of my favorite spots and we go to the Black Hills twice a year. I've been to that mine, pretty cool to check out.
Hill City was a nice place to stay. So many places to explore out there. Pumped for this next season. Heading back to Moab, 1 wk overlander trip in Wyoming. Tennessee and possibly rock house. we are adding more cameras and went to some wireless mics. super pumped for upcoming adventures.
Seeing the points of interest, overlooks... are awesome... i like that on a trail to get out and stretch out a bit. 7:54
Just got back from Custer. First time out with the new Toy. The riding was great with very little sxs traffic in the hells Canyon area. That being said, I won’t wing it next time. I’ll use the maps before we go to plan for longer rides. Also, a lot of dust plan so have face covering so you’re not reading all that
I did another trip recently and agree that being more prepared was much more enjoyable. Check out the recent sd videos, and there are ride command links to Silica Mines, Finnegan Cabin, etc.
@@leterripadventures I’m new to this so I’m hoping to eventually tag along with a larger group of riders.
