I think my favorite part is how the camera in the beginning makes you think the guy walking is talking about the person hung by a noose but then you find out that you're wrong

In Borderlands 3, one of the classes should be Krieg in his sane form. The developers should make it where he was able to be normal again. His inner voice sounds like a pretty cool guy!
There IS a theroy that he is Tinas dad from some of his dialouge. For example with Pull The Pin theres a chance he will say FOR THE LITTLE ONE. If this theroy proves true I would love to see the interaction between krieg and tina
I really think Gearbox needs a comic series or web series or something with adventures in Pandora, where we get to see things with the Vault Hunters doing their own thing, taking on bandits, lounging around, performing quests, or just being silly. I think we need something like this, there is so much story and development behind all of these characters it could be like the best series of anything ever!

Why is the story from borderlands 2 so well made in comparison to Borderlands 3. I love BL2, and even though BL3 has improved a lot the gameplay, the story became a lot more worse
Because Anthony Burch wasn't writing for b3. He left Gearbox before they started making b3 I think. I know people didn't like him but he was a good writer in b2 and was involved with the writing for Tales from the Borderlands game as well.
Agreed. And honestly killing Maya was a bad move. Killing main characters is fine but they did so little to develop the main characters and their stories in this one that it feels unjustified.

Borderlands 2 had a single writer who made 90% of the dialogue which made it coherent. Borderlands 3 had 4 writers with more groups in between that made the story/quality/atmosphere of the game feel more schizo than Tiny Tina and Krieg together.
Honestly,they even managed to ruin tales from the borderland's legacy. The way Rhys and Vaughn were represented was crappy,did not match the telltale's view of them at all. Sasha and Fiona didn't even make it to b3. I'm disappointed.
For those who are confused: "I powdered my cockatiel for the ribcage slaughter" basically is Krieg screaming that he is gonna get all up in her guts. I assume powdered means protection.
But since Krieg is a class, 2K would probally need to make Web Series for all the individual Vault Hunters. Otherwise it would be basically: "Oh, you like Krieg? Good for you. But if don't f*ck you."
It's surprisingly touching. He doesn't really care about killing, all the death and the hopelessness he has to live with. But he actually fights to save something he thinks is worth saving and its not a physical fight, its a mental one that challenges him.

The correct response, when Krieg was all "Now tell her thank you. Tell her that, because of her, we might actually, one day, be able to act like a normal person again," and a bunch of nonsense came out of his mouth, would have been "Don't mention it," or something which indicated that she understood him. Perfect punchline to this little character premise and interaction. And she's a psychic, it wouldn't even have been that surreal.
+Thoreaux now that u mention it, the little smirk at the end might've been just that. maybe they wanted to keep it subtle and less obvious so that we could guess for ourselves, only by paying close attention and thinking deeper about what he meant by "close enough"
Heh, close enough, I find zer0 and krieg as both my favorite characters, ever since I first played as krieg, and now my 1# favorite character is occupied by two characters it's hard to say who's better
I really love this trailer. From the unexpected twist to who Krieg actually is in the beginning, to the entirety of his own self monologue with himself which is really well hidden exposition, to especially the bit with Maya, when the music becomes much more intense for the single sane sounding line Psycho Krieg is able to muster in the entire trailer being made that much more powerful with the cut off of the music to a decent demonstration of what he's actually like to play in game, to the last bit showing how he actually ended up in the tundra with the other Vault Hunters. I really do just love it, and FYI to all Maya mains you technically owe your lives to all the Krieg mains for what he did for you in this trailer.
I love that through his uncovered eye you can see his sane side, and how he has little animations showing that he's disappointed in himself which shows that old krieg is still partially in control

Pasta Cast I'm also aware of this.But of the 4 total known Sirens, 2 of them are dead. And I know the baby would be female. I'd really like to see what they could do with a female psycho- it's a route they haven't explored yet. But again, the idea is really just for fun. I extremely doubt they'd do it. The idea of a psycho Siren doing something like screaming Shakespeare at a guy and watching them get blasted into another dimension with buzzaxes or something is hilarious though.
I kinda wish they kept doing intro videos like this for every playable character in the games. I hadn't wanted to play Krieg when I heard they were putting out a Psycho chararacter...but then I saw this video, and thought 'hey, he might actually be worth playing!' And now he's my go-to character. I actually scare my friends when I play as him; they stop shooting just to watch me roar around with the bonesaw out. XD

Even though that wouldn't make any sense. The reason Krieg is so popular/awesome is because he IS a psycho, he makes the crazy comments and has the wacky playstyles. Making him a generic human would take all the color out of him. Besides, I'm not sure I'd like to listen to Batman 24/7. Don't get me wrong, the inner voice has great lines, but the insane psycho voice is what gives it more color. If he was played pre-psycho, he would probably just be Axton, without a turret and, yeah. Most of the people who were slag-experimented on were just normal people who sat on their couch in New Haven and partied with their buddies.

It's somewhat sad when you realize this 4 minute clip seems to have more depth, character building and chemistry than the entire Borderlands movie they made...
Imagine if in BL3 Krieg came back as a playable character but as a more Jackyl Hyde thing? Like when hes normal he has impressive marksmenship and decent stats, but once he dips below a certain amount of health....the meat man comes forth, increasing his melee and damage he can take until hes full health again. I can even think of the names for his character trees. Jackyl or Calm mind, Hyde or Raging Heart, and Duality or Built for Two (which would reference the meat bycicle built for two)
So if you're playing as Krieg, throughout the whole game when people say "the person who faced Jack and lived" is actually false. Krieg never faced Jack, he was on the train for shits 'n giggles.

Borderlands 2 had a single writer who made 90% of the dialogue which made it coherent. Borderlands 3 had 4 writers with more groups in between that made the story/quality/atmosphere of the game feel more schizo than Tiny Tina and Krieg together.
Honestly,they even managed to ruin tales from the borderland's legacy. The way Rhys and Vaughn were represented was crappy,did not match the telltale's view of them at all. Sasha and Fiona didn't even make it to b3. I'm disappointed.

It's surprisingly touching. He doesn't really care about killing, all the death and the hopelessness he has to live with. But he actually fights to save something he thinks is worth saving and its not a physical fight, its a mental one that challenges him.

Tell her that, because of her, we might actually, one day, be able to act like a normal person again," and a bunch of nonsense came out of his mouth, would have been "Don't mention it," or something which indicated that she understood him. Perfect punchline to this little character premise and interaction. And she's a psychic, it wouldn't even have been that surreal.
+Thoreaux now that u mention it, the little smirk at the end might've been just that. maybe they wanted to keep it subtle and less obvious so that we could guess for ourselves, only by paying close attention and thinking deeper about what he meant by "close enough"

I really love this trailer. From the unexpected twist to who Krieg actually is in the beginning, to the entirety of his own self monologue with himself which is really well hidden exposition, to especially the bit with Maya, when the music becomes much more intense for the single sane sounding line Psycho Krieg is able to muster in the entire trailer being made that much more powerful with the cut off of the music to a decent demonstration of what he's actually like to play in game, to the last bit showing how he actually ended up in the tundra with the other Vault Hunters. I really do just love it, and FYI to all Maya mains you technically owe your lives to all the Krieg mains for what he did for you in this trailer.

I love that through his uncovered eye you can see his sane side, and how he has little animations showing that he's disappointed in himself which shows that old krieg is still partially in control
Cant really believe borderlands was never made into a serious animated show, its story and universe are honestly incredible, and krieg is one of the best, most awesome things about all of this masterpiece.

But again, the idea is really just for fun. I extremely doubt they'd do it. The idea of a psycho Siren doing something like screaming Shakespeare at a guy and watching them get blasted into another dimension with buzzaxes or something is hilarious though.

I kinda wish they kept doing intro videos like this for every playable character in the games. I hadn't wanted to play Krieg when I heard they were putting out a Psycho chararacter...but then I saw this video, and thought 'hey, he might actually be worth playing!' And now he's my go-to character. I actually scare my friends when I play as him; they stop shooting just to watch me roar around with the bonesaw out. XD

Even though that wouldn't make any sense. The reason Krieg is so popular/awesome is because he IS a psycho, he makes the crazy comments and has the wacky playstyles. Making him a generic human would take all the color out of him. Besides, I'm not sure I'd like to listen to Batman 24/7. Don't get me wrong, the inner voice has great lines, but the insane psycho voice is what gives it more color. If he was played pre-psycho, he would probably just be Axton, without a turret and, yeah. Most of the people who were slag-experimented on were just normal people who sat on their couch in New Haven and partied with their buddies.

Obviously he wouldn't play anywhere near the same, but would be a nice little wink for fans of the character. Doesn't seem likely now we know the game's character roster, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were DLC characters and he turned up in it. Hell, he might even appear in that Telltale Borderlands game.

Imagine if in BL3 Krieg came back as a playable character but as a more Jackyl Hyde thing? Like when hes normal he has impressive marksmenship and decent stats, but once he dips below a certain amount of health....the meat man comes forth, increasing his melee and damage he can take until hes full health again. I can even think of the names for his character trees. Jackyl or Calm mind, Hyde or Raging Heart, and Duality or Built for Two (which would reference the meat bycicle built for two)
