This is my favorite video y’all have made. Anissa is one of my favorite contributors to the magazine (and especially the podcast) and CB is such a joy to listen to. Y’all really knocked it out of the park in this one. It’s perfect. Thanks for putting it out there for us.

Thank you so much for this! I have admired this gentleman for over 25 years. I even had the honor of meeting him in his shop last year, where he graciously gave me a brief tour and signed my dog-eared copy of one of his books. He is simply a fine man and a true credit to his craft.

Such a youthful spirit, he’s like a big kid. So honest and open. Great conversation, thank you all.

Chris is a fine gentleman, relaxed at talking about himself and his career. I enjoyed this interview very much. Anissa is a natural, superb interviewer. She should be the choice for more FW interviews.

What a great interview! Such a real, down to earth person, someone I would love to get to know. Thank you for giving this to us. Maybe Anissa should take over emceeing Shop Talk Live! (Nothing personal Ben!)

Love this format of video! I’m also from Maine. We have some of the best in the business with Becksvoort and Rousseau

Great interviewer! Curious, courteous, and kind. As far as nick offerman goes, he had a big impact with opening up my eyes and several of my friends’ eyes to woodworking and working with our hands more. It’s how I found out about Mr. Becksvoort!

Great artistic composition with the legend wearing a forest green shirt amidst the old light wood of the adirondack chair and against the weathered blue-green siding of the building!

Wow, that was enjoyable. This is a compelling chat between two friends more than it's an interview - which says a lot about both Chris and Anissa (and Ben too). Yes more like this. Andrew Hunter comes to mind.

Wow, what a fantastic interview. He is definitely more dynamic and interesting than I thought he would be. He does shaker furniture....how interesting could he be? But he was really, really great. But she was great! She brought out the best in him and I don't know what their relationship was but for quite a while I was thinking she was his daughter. Great interview, great piece. I loved that their were snacking on strawberries and throwing the stems. Good stuff.

As for music, I will listen to almost anything, I'm quite eclectic in my taste, I will listen to all Chris will listen to as well as Opera and early rap. The current "gangsta" rap, I'm not particularly fond of.

Oh my, such an outstanding interview. Anissa did a wonderful job getting Chris to open up and show what he’s made of. People like hike are few and far apart in our current world. It’s a shame that we don’t have many just like him but maybe then he wouldn’t’ take be so unique. I really enjoyed this one but would have loved to see some of his shop too. I know I’ve seen it in many FW articles but seeing it on a casual basis which Chris talking candidly about his work would be a great addition to this interview.
