Of course she was just giving her thoughts but I use a couple olaplex products myself and haven't had any issues :)
Oleplex can overload your hair with protein which can cause breakage issues. Please only use it if you have chemical hair damage (lightened hair, maybe permed hair) or if recommended by your hair professional!
Azelaic acid is safe breastfeeding AND pregnancy. Thank God bc it saved my skin my most recent pregnancy and postpartum since I was told not to use salicylic acid.

I have a hack for the Dermalogica exfoliant/milkfoliant…you say use a brush to fluff it up. But as a bearded Mister Cyster, I do rub in my hands, but then I use my wet beard to fluff up the milkfoliant. Plus, its hard to get product to the skin under the beard…and this helps me to keep the hidden eruptions in check.

I like to use the Microfoliant by applying half a teaspoon ,adding water and then rubbing my hands really well until I get that egg white paste. I did try to mix it with a brush but it didn’t turned out that well. I cannot thank you enough Cassandra for introducing me to this product because OH MY GOSH do I love it! I also like their hydrating serum! It was a savior for my dehydrated skin. ( and I got it on sale as well- HOW LUCKY CAN ONE GET??)

Olaplex is great - but if your issue is not the proteins in your hair, it can cause your scalp to go into protein overload and make your hair fall out. A great product line, but it’s not for every person.
Funny you'd say derms always recommended sunscreens. Not in my country, here they tell you oh well no wonder you have acne when you're putting SPF every day and clog your pores.

These days whenever I watch celeb's skincare videos from Vogue India or some channel my reactions are sometimes like Cassandra watching them doing scrubs hydrating diy masks and saying these things helped and changed their skin but still using those filters which are so obvious makes me laugh than anything else 😂😂. They seriously still think that people now are as ignorant to skincare as they were a few years ago, when we actually believed home remedies and "natural" products actually work. We changed over time by learning and adopting them into our life. I just hope someday they actually open up about what they are actually doing rather than some nonsense things which are obvious lies that we all know. I am not saying everyone is doing this(misinformation) but some are still doing it. We as consumers should know better than that to believe what they are actually saying.
