    I don't think anyone would have the guts to call a successful / still relevant director toxic and warn people against him. Abhay Deol is something else! In a world where it's so easy to follow the herd or do the run of the mill stuff, he tends to stick his neck out and stand for the more important things. More power to him. Great actor but more importantly an inspiring human.

    Am not generalizing it. But I come from a middle-class family and I am in a position where rich people work with me and work for me. I have seen that our understanding and maturity are way higher. Because most of the folks are middle class be it media or critics or let's say, vendors. We can not be good all the time we have to manipulate and say lies just to be in the game. Jab tak jhooth ya manipulation kisi ko harm nahi kre it's okay. But Rich guys understand Rich guys they are fine with manipulation and all and they appreciate and will say they are sharp. But if a middle-class guy who is a genius like Anurag if they use harmless manipulation or lies to get what they want they tag them as toxic .

    A good actor, but he's the one who's clearly lying. If Anurag Kashyap went to him to say: "You're a Deol, you stay in a five-star hotel, the rest of us will stay in a cheaper hotel", it was HIS DUTY to reply: "Hey, this is a low budget film, I'll stay in the same hotel as you guys". That's not how things went down, clearly.

    • @blahblahblah5924
      @blahblahblah5924 Год назад +2

      @@tarasankardas6542 Maybe I didn't put it well in my comment. Abhay is lying by saying he was offered a room in a five star hotel. Anurag would never do that on a tight budget film like Dev D. BUT hypothetically, suppose if Anurag actually did that, why did Abhay accept knowing well that the rest of crew would stay in much cheaper hotel? He also knew he wasn't shooting a YRF or Dharma film. There's a reason why many filmmakers didn't work with him more than once, few chose to speak like Anurag, and he also apologized for hurting his feelings. Abhay had too much pride, but I hope has gone beyond that because he's a terrific actor.
