This is my 2nd take. Recorded in Audacity on my AT2020 mic, filmed on my Canon Vixia camera and synched up in Adobe Premiere. That's it. No comping, tuning, or video cuts. (I forgot to say "no comping or tuning" this time, but it's still true. :-P It's not that I'm trying to be authentic or anything, I'm just too lazy to spend all that time tuning and cutting takes together.)

YOU GUYS!!! I'm really excited! There's this fly-in for ultralight and GA Pilots in Phoenix this February and I'm TOTALLY GOING!! I've never flown in formation before, but you can bet your butt I'm gonna do it in Feburary! They also have guns and explosions there, so it's pretty much right up my alley. :-P
Anyway, I've been really cramming on my next impressions video lately. It's all singing Disney characters, so the costume budget is getting a bit ridiculous... Perhaps I should rent? XP
I'm doing almost all the suggestions I was given, so fingers crossed I don't butcher them... ^^;

HEY! What have y'all been up too? Anything fun? School's back I guess, so for many of you it's the opposite of fun but meh... The bad times make the good times that much better. Perspective is a double-edged sword I guess. I mean, I've never seen perspective in person, but I'm just assuming that's what perspective is.
Ok, I'm losing it. Clearly, I stayed up too late working on this, because I ALWAYS underestimate how long it's going to take to do these... (It's currently 5:19am as I'm typing this).
Also, it didn't help that our whole family watched Lego Batman tonight so that took about two hours off the time I was planning to be working on this. Not that I'm complaining! I really liked the movie! Very clever and stupid! I laughed a lot!

Fun fact: The Greeks didn't wear togas. It's difficult to see what Gabe tried to copy here with his "not a bed sheet", because we can't see him below the waist, but the knee-length outfit young Hercules wears during this song is called a Chiton ("kee-ton"). The flowing, robe-like garment Zeus wears is probably meant to be a Himation. Like the Toga, which was exclusively Roman, the Himation reached basically to the floor, where the Chiton was essentially a long tunic that reached to just above the knee.

I once heard this song played at a child's funeral. The little kid had cancer, and this used to be the song he listened to when he was going through his chemo treatments and having his really bad days. I know not every lyric really fit his situation, but the sentiment was what counted I guess. Sorry to bring up a sad story like this, but if you believe in the afterlife then this story wasn't so sad after all.
