- Magic Chess! In this video on the new magic chess season 18 I used the Magic Chess commander Angela skill 3 and used the meta synergy combo of Mage + Mystic Bureau. Angela 3 is easy to get 3 star units for easy mythical glory wins. Explained more in comments.

Hey guys, in this video I used the Angela commander. I used Angela skill 3. This skill makes it so that you can swap a unit for another of the same synergy + same cost. For example, if you use the skill on Kagura it can give you Polpol, Selena, or Estes. If you use the skill on Polpol it will give you Kagura 100% of the time. It will keep the same * level so if you have a 2* polpol and kupa you can use the skill on it and get a 2* Kagura. I used summoner to recieve many 3* Polpols and then turned them into Kaguras.
With this strategy I went for Mage Crystal early. I try to get Kagura from Fate box so I have the early start towards mystic bureau + mage but will take Selena if I don't get her.
I reroll at level 6 to recieve Polpol for summoner and collect zhasks when I can.
Buy every Zhask you can because at 3* Zhask you will start receiving polpols almost every turn from summoner skill.
In the early game I will usually use 3 Mystic + 2 summoner and the remaining units as mage. You will take some damage before you get your first Kagura 2/3* but mystic is still strong early so it won't be that much.
Runes I prefer to use with this build -
Premium Client II (45% free refresh)
Shiny Pouch (25 gold)
Unlimited Expansion (+10 gold per capacity increase)
Magic Surge (50% mana backline)
Mana Bandit (Mages take 5 mana from target with basic attack)
For items any winter truncheon is the best but any magic item will work well.
In the mid game my main goal is to reroll for polpol & kupa. Once I get 3 star polpol I will use angela skill 3 to turn it into kagura. Try to get 6/6 mage as soon as possible as this will increase your damage greatly. When I play this strategy I usually get 2 or 3 3* Kaguras and then sell my summoner to put in other units.
Late game after I get 6/6 mage and enough Kagura's I will level up and add units to work for 6/6 mage + 6/6 Mystic. If you are unlucky with blessing or don't get +1 from Fate Box then you keeping only 2 Kagura's is likely better so you can have 6/6 of both.
In this game for my last rune I didn't choose it right away because I wanted to keep the option of 28 shield available in case I lost a round. If I could go back I would have chosen Premium Client to reroll faster for more Polpol.
Angela 3 is very strong commander. Another popular build with Angela 3 is Lancer + Quartermaster with QM crystal on Zilong.

I see you back on your grind. I think u missed when Angela third skill could be used every round. I spammed mages for a while, and still do use them. U didn't mention 400 extra power for the crystal carrier or 300 if your gold is above 20, which I think are the best for mages. Lastly which u might already know, Karina turns into vale, irithel turns into Odette and Guinevere turns into Valentina. Easy 3 stars for them too.

Chou 2 QM brody/gord (early game lancer+qm)
Angela 2 Mage Lunox/Gord (early game mystic + mage)
I would include vale but he is banned 90% of games so I don't play him much but he is strong.

Chou 1/2 is good at all ranks, Angela 2/3 also good.
For angela 3 lancer + quartermaster is extremely easy and strong. Angela 2, mage lunox/gord is good, you start game with mage + mystic.
Chou 1/2 I usually play quartermaster brody/gord.

What are other synergy to use with ling 2 other than astro assassin?
Hi bro I have seen some play with Layla (immortal crystal) 6 immortal, 4 aspirant and then whatever layla gets as aspirant add that as last synergy, so if layla is weapon master add as many weapon master as possible. I will test soon I'm not sure if it is good yet.

Can you tell me how rune 'tight budget' works? Is it good rune?
Its good if youre planning to use hero that costs less than 3 coins (miya, eudora etc.) every refresh will only cost you 1 coin but percentage of getting 5 coins hero is reduce
Hi bro, like other comment says its good if you are looking for low cost heroes. The most common synergies I would use it with is Nature Spirit + Weapon master because there is many low level units to 3 star.
Basically if you are level 5, it gives you level 4 shop % chance, if you are level 9-> gives you level 8 shop % chances. If you are planning to go for 5 cost units this is a bad rune. If you are looking for low cost units it is great.
The commander its greatest for is austus 2. Because you are constantly rerolling to make 2 star units and reselling. The cheaper rerolls allows you to get your 7 mirror devices extremely quick.

@@Hyn99 That's done just so that your probability of getting those same useless heroes will be minimised in the next round. That's how most of the mythic 10,000+ plays and I hope that helps. If you don't get me, I can elaborate further
I think buying useless heroes lowers their chance of appearing and increases chance of heroes you want. Also you can buy heroes that your opponent wants and you'll make it harder to 3 star heroes
He was buying 1 star heroes to get zhask faster, because buying other heroes on the same level increases the chance for you to get zhask
