On the Car CD Boombox, when you were talking about the power adaptor what you were pointing at I'm sure is a headphone jack socket, power inputs are normally on the back for safety reasons, surprised it isn't a normal figure 8 cable.

I got my cordless Dyson for a fiver with all attachments from Slate Farm car boot, had to buy two new filters for £9.95 to get it working properly, been using it ever since can't bear to sell it now 🤣
