The level of professionalism in the Ukrainian Military is not something I expected TBH! They just keep getting better and better! Country is full of Absolute Hero’s IMO
I think it may have to do with the long history the Ukrainian people have had during which they had to live under brutal ruzzian 'rule' (starting 1793 in which year the ruzzians forbade the Ukrainian language, the worst oppression taking place during the 1900s), all of which still lives in the memories and consciousness of several generations (still) alive today, and now of course the atrocious large-scale misdeeds ranging from rape and torture to murder of up to hundreds of locals per captured village committed by the russian hordes on top of the wanton destruction of a large section of their country and the systematic targeting of the population by the invader's military, all these things help(ed) giving rise to a very determined people. With determination and the emotions stemming from being wronged so severely for so long come discipline, strength and 'drive'. To KNOW that YOU are fighting on the side that is right somehow also helps to prevail and to come out as the party that wins. It somehow is something of an almost cosmic nature, a spiritual aspect that also works the other way: belonging to the party that is doing wrong will make it impossible for that side to come out victorious.
