:( Maybe it would be good to solve the forgotten 'Signed Poster' problem for those generous followers that backed Conquering Northern China. Even if its a Candid Productions' problem, it looks bad on you guys unfortunately. :((((( I can't imagine any of us buying t-shirts now lol
This series was actually quite fun. You're both awkward in a good way, and you have a perfect chemistry. Quite obvious that it's a true friendship that will last for many years to come. Cheers to you! 🍺
I LOVED this video...!! I think what made me enjoy it the most is the goat or sheep call after eating the lamb balls. I grew up ranching and have had the pleasure of eating them as well as bull balls (Ricky mountain oysters) and I absolutely LOVE them. It's not for everyone obviously, but you both were open to trying them. Thank you both for the entertaining video and your of the best Chinese food in America. As always "STAY AWESOME!!"
All right, I've said this before but I'll say it again, I shouldn't watch these videos right after work when I'm hungry. Now I'm starving. And what I'm going to eat for dinner isn't going to be nearly as good as what you guys ate on this video. That looks awesome!
Winston & Cmilk - great video! Your host was so gracious, good luck to him. I heard tears in the background though...think it was Prozzie when you bit into the sheeps balls!
I really feel like you guys should have shows on the Travel Channel. Your shows are always so fun to watch, and I'm amazed that none of the big channels or production companies or whatever (I clearly have no idea how this stuff works) have picked you up.
Daniel Chow I wish they had their wives or other native Chinese people. Wondering if they'd prefer the taste of water buffalo to beef since that's what they grew up with?
Yeh. And it seems they tolerate the fatty-skewered lamb bbq found in China but when they got lamb bbq in the US, they suddenly noticed the quality is higher! I could never prefer buffalo meat in China btw; rough and tasteless. I suspect typically the animal is mainly raised as a beast of burden before it gets chopped into overpriced "meat-like" steak.
@RatedPG I buy my meat direct from local farmers, all natural. When i cooked for my Chinese friends they were "Where'd you get this meat!!?" Yes, America does good meat.
Been watching both of you for years, you guys have really progressed in your video making skills. Amazing commentary, amazing videos and just wow. Great show.
I find that model of Corvette very comfortable, the seat conforms to the body well and can accommodate even tall individuals. I love how it feels like you're riding a go-cart because your body is so close to the ground and you get so much road feel. My only comfort complaint is the air conditioning isn't great and the engine runs hot enough that the foot wells warm up too much as the firewall isn't as effective as I'd like it to be.
Balls. Nope, nope, nope, nope... Not me. No thanks. NOPE. But watching you two struggle with them was hilarious. I thought C-Milk was going to explode. I nearly pissed myself laughing - both times I watched it. Well done, as usual. You guys make a great team. See you in the next one.
This has been a great series. And the look on Laowhy's face while he is choking down the sheep ball was steller! You can see at 15:45 when it all starts going wrong. The look of sheer panic was truly awesome!
i watched this episode like 10 times already. making me so hungry and wanna go to chinese restaurant around my house. lamb meat stick thing is a must!!
This I am truly enjoying having been cooking for last 40 plus years watching you guys trying all the dishes is awesome. I do believe if they never told you it was sheeps ''balls'' you might have enjoyed it.
羊肉 yang rou can also be both lamb and mutton. Chinese is so unspecified in this area. The “rice noodles” on top of the oysters are in fact Shirataki noodles, come from a yam-like tuber called Devil's Tongue. They are gluten free, calorie free.
Rocky mountain Oysters (or fries is the name i knew growing up) are a regional tradition in the US going back as long as people have been husbanding animals here. Can't say i care for them much, but best if fried in butter with a good breading and garlic. great episode, excited to see it continue. Keep up the good work.
Omfg you guys are fanfuckingtastic. I'm dying right now. The balls the balls i was puke. Thanks for all that you guys do to bridge a gap that a lot of westerners will never know of. A look into a different world. But not all bad. Great work gents!!!
While i watched alot of the mainland china videos you guys have made. i am really loving this Best chinese in america Idea you guys are going with right now. keep it up and take it to the east coast if possible!
Being raised in Montana and being part of many branding of cattle, Rocky Mountain Oysters are something you have to do when you are a first timer...just eat them and get it over with! Super awesome job on this series so far, i do not want it to end! More power! Hope you wind up in Seattle!
Awesome episode! Most funny moment at 15:52 when C-Milk is still trying to swallow the balls (no pun intended) and Winston is saying that they taste like fishy LOL haha
Hi Laowhy&Serpentza, thanks for this amazing video again! The BBQ place looks pretty authentic for me. Just one thing, I think 烤冷面 just became pretty popular in most parts of China from last year/last two years, not sure originally from where and I haven't go back for 3 years tho, but my friends (at least friends in Nanjing city) always mention about this dish. So maybe can raise a bit on its "authentic point"? lol just a thought. Stay awesome.
Loving the series. It's great you guys filmed this in America.I will probably go to China soon, and I'm sure I will try many different things. I have learned a great deal from you, so far. Stay awesome!
That fried milk remind me of what we call Chinese pancakes also custard but normally they're made in like a waffle maker but they're a load of cylindrical holes instead of the waffle shape. Not greasy either, really delicious.
Awesome you had me in tears , laughing. "Prairie Oysters" are part of Cowboy culture. you took me back 20-30 years ago, branding time. Stay awesome guys, your a couple of real "Class Acts" bless you .
love the show guys, I am back in Australia these days, as I was watching the show I was wishing I was back in Shenzhen with my wife eating BBQ and drinking beer, keep up the great work guys. Hopefully next time I am in China we can catch up and have some beers.
Leng mian is around the street in northern China almost everywhere, it is a street food, it is usually not in a barbecue restaurant. But anyway the video is so nice, so happy to watch it.
I just keep thinking of how well your documentaries would do at the Beloit International Film Festival (BIFF). I'm not part of that organization however I have attended and volunteered for 6 years now as it is hosted in my hometown. Love what you guys do! Choose check out the film festival and thanks for staying awesome.
LOL! You guys are very good with joking around, giving a critique of the authenticity of the Chinese foods, as well as rating the taste factor. I think this would make a great Road Trip for Americans out on the West Coast! About the lamb balls - I grew up on the family farm, and we had all of the things like beef tongue, hog brains, etc., however, my mom drew the line at "rocky mountain oysters" (hog balls)! We'd have a whole bunch, fresh from castrating the young 'uns. They would have been as fresh as you could get, but she still refused to cook 'em! I've had them elsewhere, and they're like you describe - not the best "texture"!! Keep on making great videos. . . you're on a roll!
This is my favorite, Western Chinese BBQ is pretty good. I can vouch for the food up here in Canada, Ontario. I actually prefer it over Western BBQ & Korean BBQ. - Beef Skewers - Lamb Skewers - Chicken Wings Skewers - Pickled Veggie Noodle Soup - Guo Bao Rou A1
Such an awesome series guys. I am surprised you haven't come across the small sized bottles of Tsintao in China. I found the beer in the bag is very common throughout Shandong. Quite handy when you have a small, full fridge as it can be coerced into the gaps and recesses...unless of course you like it warm. Always enjoy each new episode! Good job!
Dude that place is so close to where I live. For those of you who aren’t from here, going to that part of town it seems like another world. I’m not talking about a little 2-3 block China town I’m talking almost an entire city. Gotta try that place out once corona has passed.
Great info, shot beautifully, wonderful food and then it turns into a giggle fest once the sheep testicles make an appearance 😊 This what keeps coming back for more.
Amazing video guys! Love this series. *Question* can you do some vegetable dishes? I don't eat meat and would love to try some authentic Chinese vegetable dishes.
In the United States, we call fresh coriander Cilantro (from it's Spanish name), and the crushed seeds of the plant Coriander (from the French word for the plant).
My face hurts.. LOL Watching you two react to the "prairie oysters" was awesome. Just as an aside, here in Canada, prairie oysters can mean two different things: A Canadian Country band, OR phlegm.
My first flatmate in China was a South African. When the guy from the foreign department introduced us and suggested we go out for hotpot to celebrate my arrival at the Uni his exact words were: "No way, this is an Aussie, we'll be going for barbie, join us if you want". Old mate was a champ.
Ahh, Guys September - October in Kiwiland Is Mountain Oysters season as the ram lambs have their nightclub tickets removed and stored for the various wild food festivals along with such delicacies, as lambs tails, Whitebait and HuHu grubs.
I have tons of family all over Oregon. There's this one restaurant we've been been eating at for something like 25 years, when we meet in that area. From what I've seen you guys enjoy on this show, I think you'd really like it. If you ever head up this way, maybe try Asia Garden Restaurant in Roseburg.

Mouth watering!! Advice: I really liked the 'synchronized bite' thing you two were doing at the beginning of this video. It should be a recurring theme, similar to how Winston removes his sunglasses. Thanks for another great video!
Even though they are mostly saying that the Us food is better (better ingredients) I am still enjoying the show and honesty, and conversation of the background of the foods/china.
Love the videos. In the description box - and pardon the correction - in the sentence that begins, "It's outdoor vibe..." You do not need an apostrophe. Cheers.
Fried milk you have to go to my hometown shunde. It's in Foshan not far from you guys. The food capital of China. The oyster noodle is actually yam noodles aka shirataki.
I've never eaten sheep ball but I have eaten my share of fried bull balls or as we call then calf fries yummy...... I'm enjoying the vlogs. Keep on staying awesome guys...
Great video, really enjoyed it! Big thumbs up to your host and his Tesla....would like one. The satay sticks of food are sized small compared to Australia where you get a meal from one or two sticks. Thats a video to be made...why are satay sticks tiny in China? Cheers
"A meal from one of two sticks" is the key. Did you count how many different dishes Winston and C-Milk tasted? Lots of people want variety and low prices. Low prices mean less meat on the stick. If you enjoy the taste, buy more than one stick, the price "seems" low enough for the indulgence. When prices are low, people can walk around the night market and eat different foods on a budget. Or they can order from different food stalls and enjoy the meal.

I watch these episodes and i forget am on youtube feels like its on a network show
I agree with this completely. It wouldn't take hardly any edits to be a network show. Whomever is editing really has it down.
They did a phenomenal job with this series.
Loved the sheep sound effect.
"probably because it doesn't have heavy metals in it"
lmfao
Lol. Indeed.
Love your screen name...
This series was actually quite fun. You're both awkward in a good way, and you have a perfect chemistry. Quite obvious that it's a true friendship that will last for many years to come. Cheers to you! 🍺
What is the weirdest thing you overheard a Chinese speaker say before they knew that you understood the Chinese language?
*squeezes his hand like crazy, everythings turning red* 'DON'T TALK ABOUT IT!' Haha. That got me.
I can barely stand to watch these videos... Seeing you guys eat this food makes me so dang jealous and hungry!
I LOVED this video...!! I think what made me enjoy it the most is the goat or sheep call after eating the lamb balls. Real beef guys, real quality meats. Welcome to the USA, land of 'meat and wheat' and everything in between. Like sheep testicles.
Daniel Chow I wish they had their wives or other native Chinese people. Wondering if they'd prefer the taste of water buffalo to beef since that's what they grew up with?

Totally loving this series. Good job with the quality production too.
This is by far the most enjoyable episode I've watched on this trip. Thanks for the upload!
Lol... totally hilarious! I love how candid & down to earth you two were! Had me smiling & laughing almost the entire time! 🤗🤗🤗

This is a great channel! I love your goal! The eating balls part was HILARIOUS!
Heavy metals..... hehehe. Bad boys. A best to your host for creating such a fine restaurant. A great, REAL entrepreneur that deserves your praise.
Awesome episode! Most funny moment at 15:52 when C-Milk is still trying to swallow the balls (no pun intended) and Winston is saying that they taste like fishy LOL haha
Bleating is the new sunglasses-off thing.
You are making my mouth water! Good show!
very nice to watch a real friendship. stay awsome guys.
Very delicious as well ballsy video addition to your series indeed 🤪 Enjoy it as all of your videos Serpentza and C-Milk 😉👍

Authenticity point I mean lol
I agree! I’ve seen this dish in Beijing. +++ authenticity rating
Yunxian Jiang Can you get Facebook from there?.
Still waiting for Winston's Miami Vice suits to come out😎
Loving the series. It's great you guys filmed this in America.I will probably go to China soon, and I'm sure I will try many different things. I have learned a great deal from you, so far. Stay awesome!
Another great addition to the series. Stay awesome!
“Ludicrous Speed!” A nice and fitting homage to Space “Balls” for this episode
Oh man, love seeing Winston's face eating the balls. Never thought I would say that...Great video I somehow missed. So funny.
That fried milk remind me of what we call Chinese pancakes also custard but normally they're made in like a waffle maker but they're a load of cylindrical holes instead of the waffle shape. Not greasy either, really delicious.
Keep it up! Need to try all these spots on this series one day, great job!
Awesome you had me in tears , laughing. "Prairie Oysters" are part of Cowboy culture. you took me back 20-30 years ago, branding time. Stay awesome guys, your a couple of real "Class Acts" bless you .
I will never look at Chinese food the same good job
I have enjoyed all these videos on the delicious foods of Chinese cuisine.
love the show guys, I am back in Australia these days, as I was watching the show I was wishing I was back in Shenzhen with my wife eating BBQ and drinking beer, keep up the great work guys. Hopefully next time I am in China we can catch up and have some beers.
I am loving this series, and was SO excited when I saw the new episode notification!

I drive by this place every time i go on vacation, I'll have to stop by the next time i'm in town.
Another fantastic episode. Great series guys!! One question, why drink a beer from shot glasses?
Hello! I have seen a lot of your videos over the last feew months Brilliant stuff! Thanks a lot! You guys are awsome!
possibly one of the best videos by these two dudes
I love the music. Great video as always.

LMAO......Thought Winston was going to vomit after eating sheep balls.....LOL That look is classic
This is actually one of my favorite episodes guys just awesome!!!!!!
jjonny curiouss - I totally agree ☺️
Nice to see the food videos that I requested. Thanks guys
12:26 - "I lost my dog"
*Never* do that in a Chinese restaurant.
I enjoyed the episode. I was making faces as yall started eating the balls meat... Wtf.. Lol tough guys indeed.. Hua!!!
烤冷面 is a very popular street food up in the north. You can find it on almost any street corner.
I love these guys reminds me of my time in China best wishes guys
Such an awesome series guys. I am surprised you haven't come across the small sized bottles of Tsintao in China. I found the beer in the bag is very common throughout Shandong. Looks like you're having a ball...or two.
1 and 1/2
YJ0AUF .. They're nuts...
Watching these videos of Chinese food in the US has made me want to go to California for the first time
Everything looked so good! I wish we had more "traditional style chinese food but better" around the US!
Great info, shot beautifully, wonderful food and then it turns into a giggle fest once the sheep testicles make an appearance 😊 This what keeps coming back for more.
The last episode was good, but I think I liked this one more. Calf Fries/Rocky Mountain Oysters/etc sure do have a weird texture, kinda stringy
Think that’s the first time I’ve seen Winston crack a joke and laugh 🤭 my god, he’s human!
Not a big fan of this series but I still support what you guys are doing.
Great video already looking forward to the next! One neat thing in SF people don't know is you can drink on the train.
Absolutely love your video as always! Huge fan! What is water buffalo like?
My first flatmate in China was a South African. When the guy from the foreign department introduced us and suggested we go out for hotpot to celebrate my arrival at the Uni his exact words were:
"No way, this is an Aussie, we'll be going for barbie, join us if you want".
Old mate was a champ.
Ahh, Guys September - October in Kiwiland Is Mountain Oysters season as the ram lambs have their nightclub tickets removed and stored for the various wild food festivals along with such delicacies, as lambs tails, Whitebait and HuHu grubs.
really cute that he drove them so they could drink :)
Can you guys recommend a good place to get water buffalo in the states (serious question)?
- North American :)
6:56 "oil" hahahah i love the reaction
Most excellent...I really enjoyed this, and so it is easy to stay awesome!
Like, they're probably about average, maybe a little above average authenticity. But their sauces are out of this world! The sweet and sour isn't especially sugary (ya'know, like it usually is at cheap places), and it's really more pungent than sour. From what I'm understanding, that's more traditional than we usually get here in the states.
Aaaand now I've made myself miss living in that area... might have to go visit family soon. lol
HAHAHA! I have never laughed harder from one of your videos than when I saw your reactions to tasting the sheep testicles.
Still, this BBQ restaurant looks amazing, and I WANT THAT FOOD! Mouth watering!!
Advice: I really liked the 'synchronized bite' thing you two were doing at the beginning of this video. It should be a recurring theme, similar to how Winston removes his sunglasses.
Thanks for another great video!
C Milk was so happy when he got an extra oyster!
Tysun Yihan I noticed that also. He was in heaven.
Your Guys Videos are awesome, love it. Chinese Street bbq is the best food and i had my share of Strange food in TAO aswell :P
Even though they are mostly saying that the Us food is better (better ingredients) I am still enjoying the show and honesty, and conversation of the background of the foods/china.
Kao leng mian is quite authentic, it's more like a street food than a dish, I'm so hungry now
Rocky mountain oysters (bull balls) or turkey nuts are pretty good. All depends on who cooks them. Love the videos, keep it up.
There's a place called Skewers & Brews in downtown San Jose that does lamb skewers, and you get that fat, it's excellent.

Thanks, that does explain a lot and I guess there is no overhead with the skewers?, Interesting change from Australia.
