Was looking forward to the cricket example... but I don't know if cricket scores are the best numbers for COV... as what the COV suggests is that they are not very consistent because they have such a high COV. And from a statistical sense their scores will not be very consistent, in fact they will be a myriad of values between 0 and 400 and 0 and 248 respectively!
