Just one little problem which takes out this theory .how we get back to chapter because if it doom or midas who does it then the whole thing changes i mean everything not just the end event or the chapter after it.I mean do you truly believe midas or doom who now HAS the power of the PANDORA BOX would let something like galactus,the kymera or the alien queen happen at all .Chapter six might be similar to three or one but I dont think its similar to what you thought .Also midas could just kill doom take his powers and the box and completely change the timeline to his liking
I personally think the Chapter 4 aesthetic blended the stylized feel of Fortnite with realism pretty well, so I hope they go back to that art style for Chapter 6.
I agree, that was my favorite look for the game ever. Chapter 4 was just beautiful.
I disagree ch4 had introduced realistic features to the game yes I will agree it had the best graphics but not the cartoony art style ch2 did it the best when it came to cartoony and realistic but I still have a question why do we want a realistic map when fortnite is cartoony and unique do people hate cartoony look or just i like it

@user-cv4mj8nu2m People do seem to like the cartoony art style of Chapter 1/2, but I think Chapter 4 was a good mix of cartoony and realistic, without being too much of either style.
Graphics of ch5 suck too much. I personally loved the ch2 art most.
I really wish that the chapters were 2 years long still. Ch2 felt like the perfect length.

I mean, the idea is good and it could work very well.
The problem is that it seems that Epic Games only remembers the identity of Fortnite when they need to make a nostalgia-bait to attract players...
Because it seems that in any other case they forget that Fortnite had an identity and tell you that "those are outdated functions"
To be fair though, when all people talk about is Chapter 1 being peak and all that (which is fine), it’s easy to see they are just giving you what you “want”. I think they shot themselves in the foot with the super realistic season 1, but it was something interesting that’s for sure. I think going back to a C3/C4 styled season where it’s “cartoonish” and realistic in a way. But people won’t be satisfied even if it’s a perfect season so eh.
@@Squorzel Yeah I loved chapter 3's aesthetic and it being the perfect blend of cartoony and semi - realistic is perfect for chapter 6 because I think chapter 1 has a solid aesthetic, chapter 2 has a good balance, chapter 3, and chapter 4 and 5 just feels way to real like Call of duty mixed with a little Apex.

I believe we don't need to go back to Chapter 1. Simplicity and fun weapons weren't exclusive to Chapter 1.
All Epic has to do is tone it back, but then the problem arises. You can only have simple Seasons for so long, since now with the Four Seasons per Chapter, Epic doesn't have the time to keep it simple. Since, by the time Season TWO rolls around, that's already HALF OF THE CHAPTER DONE.
i think fortnite is missing its identity. just making the artstyle more cartoonish again but mix it with realistic lighting, add back fun guns like exotics, and i feel like fortnite would feel much more like OG while not being the same old thing.

Well it’s not confirmed to be a floating island it’s really just a theory based off of 3 pixels on a screen and while I would love a floating map I don’t think it would play very well

Fortnite was so good when it was cartoony and unique. Chapter 5 season 1 was actually refreshing but they quickly threw it away and made the huge map even bigger for some reason. Everything is just random and chaotic
And they made aim assist nearly completely useless for controller players because of bullet travel
C5 S1 was boring imo, the new POIs are consistently awesome
They're constantly changing things up and it feels chaotic and FUN like Fortnite should be
If you liked Ch1 so much I'm surprised you don't like this chapter as it's similar (many biomes, new mechanics, chaos)
Also the map changes have always been bangers (instead of tiny changes)

I think fortnite proved themselves in fortnite reload that they can make new pois in the chapter 1 art style, and have people enjoy them. I think Chapter 6 will continue from Chapter 1, but maybe in a different way that we think. I also think Chapter 6 should be longer than just a year, maybe 7 season and an OG season at the end like they have been doing, but the OG season would last longer.

I want the game to feel fresh with new locations but with weapons from the past like regular AR, scar, burst, tac, pump etc.
Reload ain’t enough the old map needs to come back, stay on c1s3, and be a permanent mode it’s not that hard

I do not see Epic going with Season 6 through 8 of Chapter 2, for one BIG reasons.
One, starting off Fortnite OG with one of, if not THE most HATED SEASON OF ALL TIME just sounds like a terrible idea. Especially when you consider that Chapter 2 Season 2 is probably the most loved Season of ALL TIME.
Plus, it would be a dumb move moneymaking-wise, which is kinda what they prioritize now over narrative, as much as it pains me to say.

I don’t think a return to chapter 1 is necessary or even a possibility but making a new map that shares the same style/vibe of the chapter 1-2 map, while still moving forward like you said. Something f.e. I’d like to see on the next map is more suburban POIs like Pleasant Park, Greasy Grove or Holly Hedges as example, which I feel are missing on this current map

I don’t know if it already existed because I started in C4 S1 but imagine that Fortnite makes an LTM called „Mega Royale“ where instead of 100 player, there are 200 players in the lobby and you can play with up to 5 people

I think this makes more sense: In chapter 5 season 4 the paradigm returns and finds a way to flip the island and it’s chapter 4 season 4, we stay there for a week and then the paradigm steals thrones Time Machine and teleports the map to chapter 2 season 2, and the paradigm stops the IO from flooding the island and we get an alternate chapter 2 timeline where the map never flooded
If anything, I’m hoping that the events of Fortnite will be in a time loop, however, with tiny alternations from later seasons, we could play in season 1 and have fists

The reason why reload wasn't on the road map is because they only thought of reload about 3 weeks after season 3 started and it took them a month to make reload was basically a cash grab just with out the spending

imo, chapter 3 was the definition of something fresh but nostalgic. It had a very fresh map , nice and vibrant color. It also had new and old POIS like ch2 and again, i think that s a very good idea. New and old put in a balance, the old to be in the style of the new and the new to complete with the old, to complement each other..if it makes sense..
They just need to make the weapons more balanced
Tbf Chapter 3 was meant to be perfect, it had everything it needed to be the best chapter, if Chapter 3 was 8 seasons like it was meant to it would've been the best chapter ever

Whilst I'd like this chapter to carry on for 8 seasons, the fact people in the community hate a chapter from week 1, so they wouldn't last 100.
People liked S1. Even s2 to an extent, the underworld is one of the best biomes ever, and the BP was top 3 ever. But S3 has nothing, overpowered mythics and cars, a bad/mid BP, and bad colabs, ontop of poor balencing.
The reason i dont want epic to go past 4 seasons is because they've never had a good season above 4 since chapter 1. And when they did go up to 4 seasons, it produced my 2nd favourite season (c4s4) and chapter ever, and c4 mirrors c5, with s1 being good, s2 being a bit worse, and s3 stinking. Following this s4 should be class.
But its a damn marvel season so its gonna stink up the gaff like c2 did

@Sparxzy How is last season BP the worst in the game. Cerberus and hades alone were peak skins. Also underworld is one of the best, because it's unique with the river styx, maybe I'm just a sucker for mythology but it is an opinion.
Also c4 is legit good can't be hating. It's top 3 for most people, and my 2nd favourite.

I think that the idea about augments and mod benches and dif effects for dif weapons would be cool but I think that we do need chapter six because we already had chapter one.
I feel that chapter 2 is the best of both worlds in terms of gameplay and aesthetics and story as it has the cartoony but nice looking graphics, the fun guns, 2 year system, and creative ideas. I think every chapter moving on should use that idea and make it the base.

Honestly complete opposite for me. Chapter 4 was my favourite chapter. Even season 3, which was easily the worst, outclassed a lot of seasons from other chapters imo.

I like Chapter 5, same way I like all the chapters, but it’s not my favourite. Chapter 4 was mostly hitscan weapons which is much more enjoyable imo. The movement felt great with the amount of mobility items and the augments that allowed things like glider redeploy or ice slides. The weapons were amazing. A ton of strong weapons without them feeling overpowered. The map was gorgeous and diverse.
Idk, it was just my favourite era by far.

I think the reason we’re not going past season 3 for OG 2 is because the rest of the seasons had colab skins, and while Aquaman was in season 3 of chapter 2,he didn’t play a big part to the chapter or overall season

As someone here in early august, med-mist is in the game, so it’s funny that he brought it up
I like the idea in fact I think is genious, but I would rather have the chapter 2 map instead of the chapter 1 map cuz personally I´m kinda sick of it at this point and besides, some of the chapter 2 POIs had a gimmick, Steamy Stacks had the nuclear reactors that propelled you up, Slurp Swamp healed you and restored your shield, you could do sand tunneling in the desert biome, etc. Apart from that, many of the POIs had personallity and felt like an upgrade from chapter 1; Sweaty Sands was a better Paradise Palms, Lazy Lake was a better Tilted Towers (imo), and Misty Meadows was a better Happy Hamlet.
Maybe I´m biased but I would really enjoy an upgraded and modern take on the chapter 2 map, than on the chapter 1. But thats just me. Anyways, BANGER VIDEO Klarque, love your content!!!
Chapter 1 didn’t have swimming so it needs an upgrade more, and the existence of C2 OG makes it a moot point

weapon attachments should not return as benches, using an ui for a mechanic just makes it suck very bad, just make them pickable
I think a map with a couple locations from chapter, the water and a few locations from chapter 2, the desert of chapter 3, a little bit of mega city from chapter 4 and chapter 5s train
I think going back to the past would be a massive mistake on Epic’s part…

If there are 2 of each weapon, we should wonder which one to take, and which one not to take.
But in recent chapters, there’s just 1 weapon that is just. Better.
Making the other one useless.
We should be able to have any loadout, any gun, and have a chance to win, no metas needed.
I love your idea but I think they should execute it in Chapter 2. The map updates that chapter were somewhat lacking and I feel if we stayed on that map for a year or so after the OG event, then we would be able to give to some proper closure.

I feel like they could do this but mix the map around say the ice biome being the top right and the volcano being in the bottom left and the biomes swapped around and half the pois are brand new never seen before pois.

I want a Fortnite og Perm mode that lets you choose between chaoters and every season repeats with their own new battlepasses that are similar to old ones, and it roatates through seasons every 2 months.
they also NEED to fix the item shop and locker ui's and also add back rarities
Chapter 1 and its POIs have been done to death; keep it around as a separate mode, but not as the entire C6 map
If we actually got C1S11 instead of something new for Chapter 6, i believe Fortnite would lose players after a season or two of that
People will criticise the game for having "run out of ideas" and such
Fun isnt limited to chapter 1; most of my favourite fortnite memories were during C2 (spy bases, agency, mythics), C3 (web slinging, blimps, goo gunning sweats), C4 (one pumps, swinging, henchmen bases), & C5 (s2, s3 car fights, nitro fists)
And as Fortnite continues to add new chapters, we'll only keep getting new and awesome mechanics to make new memories with - many of the awesome mechanics we keep getting are often dismissed as "not feeling like OG Fortnite" even when theyre awesome, so limiting the game to "keeping the OG feel" feels just that to me... Limiting

I literally had this exact same thought last year after the black hole 2.0 event. I thought that it would have been so cool if this time Jonesy helped us stop the black hole and for the first time ever we saw the words Fortnite Season 11. It felt to me like they wasted a super cool storyline to make an advertisement for their new modes.
There’s no way Fortnite is going to make a storyline like they did in the previous chapters.

The problem is, if they only do chapter 2 seasons 5-8, they’re completely ignoring the seasons people actually want back from chapter 2 (2-4) and in my opinion it would feel kind of like a slap in the face to people who just want the classic Midas season back (or others like me who really want the water map again), when not as many people care about the later seasons of that chapter.
The idea of reusing maps is cool I really wanna go back to chapter 4 and revisit the map b4 the jungle update and see what it could’ve become had the jungle not been there CH4 was one of the more unique chapters and probably the most creative one
We need vibrant colours, some old weapons and a revamp of most of the permanent changes of ch5 and also i don't think we need the metaverse now we want it but don't need we will need it in the future

I’ve had years to think about what really makes Fortnite fun, and having an updated and fresh chapter 1 map sounds brilliant. Back in season x, people were getting tired of the messy map and desperately wanted something fresh and simple, and chapter 2 satisfied that need, bringing a huge new wave of excitement to the game and amplifying the feeling that players had when initially falling in love with the game. (Chapter 2 had its issues later on, but think back to that first drop cutscene on the chapter 2 map, it was sooo hype.) that fresh feeling is something that goes neglected in this community, but understandably so given the change of scenery in the most recent chapters hasn’t been the most drastic, and it’s mainly the gameplay being changed for better or worse. Chapter 1 was where the game blew up for being FUN. The gameplay was oh so memorable and it was the main focus of the updates given the maps actual layout was conceptualized as simply a promotional side mode for save the world, and it wasn’t all that exiting to explore. The og season was amazing and probably more fun than anything we had prior or after, but it obviously lacks that new feeling that is generally less important but still matters. The og map was all the game needed to generate hype, and the feeling of freshness was pretty much irrelevant, but moving forward we obviously can’t just be on the og map forever. It would eventually become stale (possibly even faster) as it did originally. There’s a lot to be said, and even I can’t piece all my thoughts together, but generally what I think we need is a system where we truly return to the most fun and memorable times of the game, but find a way to ENHANCE it to a level where the community will be questioning how the game could be more fun than chapter 1. This will be a daunting task due to the vastly superior skill level of the player base compared to chapter 1, but epic doesn’t have to stick to one thing. As we’ve seen in the discovery tab, there is an unlimited amount of ways to play the game, and I think epic can meet the needs of everyone by taking what’s old and making it new. My vision for the game would be to bring back the og map in chapter 6, sticking with your ideas of enhancing graphics and such, but adjusting the terrain, gameplay, and even locations in such a way that enhances things like building gameplay, storm circles, etc. on top of this, adding even more battle royale modes, (like my ideal mode: remove turbo building and add building cooldown) which would appeal to even more audiences and add to the idea of playing how you want to. It would be up to the developers to determine the specifics of the changes, but I truly believe that if we bring back the old map and its look and gameplay we the game will be perfect. ((Sorry, i was brainstorming this on the fly so it’s probably a messy comment))

Another thing they should add back is original only skin battle passes. Also include skins that you need to level up with XP to make them look cooler. They can still include some crossover skins, but not like they do now. Also, make the secret skin have more story. AND MAKE IT SECRET.
Imagine a season where we're on the chapter 3 island during the events of chapter 2 and we see how events like Galactus or the flood affected the flipside.
There was no Fortnite reload on the roadmap is because they made that mode in the middle of season 3 when they realized there game was dying

Personally i thjnk they should bring back og story characters with new characters and make chapter 6 make it feels like fortnite and have chapter 4 colourful aesthetic and simple and make the chapter 2 years and focus on battle royale insted of trying to be like a metaverse and return the old animation movement bring back Donald mustard!!
I would legitimately love to see fortnite with every single heal, movement, and weapon. Not for long maybe just a week or just as an LTM but I really crave fortnite with EVERYTHING.
We definitely don't need a new lootpool, we need all the old guns swapping in an out of the lootpool with new weapons too
Really enjoying this theory well done, gave me hope of revisiting my favorite seasons as well (chap 2 seasons 5-8)
