Kokushibo's sword is actually made of his own flesh, not Nichirin, However, his flesh is tougher than most Nichirin blades so in some regards, its better.
@@hazdra1896 yes the swords are stronger but they won’t kill the demons bc the only reason nichirin blades kill demons is bc they absorb sunlight which also leads to the belief that only sun users get black swords as the color black sucks in more sunlight and helps increase the heat on the breathing which is why tanjiro was able to make his blade red when he absorbed enough sunlight and gained more power by mastering sun breathing
