I recognise some of those roads and places. Been to Lake Bala and lots of nearby places when my parents took me and brother and sister to my Cousin's house doing a swap in Wrexham. Her family visited same from our neck of the woods in Swindon. We swam in Lake Bala. Some parts warm , some really cold!😂
Great part of the world is Chirk. When you come up to Melrose you must visit Scottsview then visit the Wallace monument then onto dryburgh abbey which are all within a couple of miles from the CL I think you'll be at..
Like the look of that site. I think we would cycle to the other aqueduct. How exciting to extend the holiday. It will be interesting to see what the CLs are like. Take care Gill
Great video as ever Bob and Jenny know chirk castle very well and Llangollen my wife has family connections in chirk and have visited many times over the years love the castle which is one of the best NTs I have been to and also the grounds as well You can see the aqueduct on the approach to the castle when you go past the Cadbury’s plant at chirk and also at Froncyllite at 6:08 you can see aqueduct but travelling in other direction towards Llangollen and also the ancient castle of Dinas bran on the hillside 5:49 if you turn left at the lights you can get to horseshoe pass and also the horse drawn barges on the canal Llangollen is well worth exploring some lovely places to eat and shops Site looks lovely I have driven past it and it’s in a nice quiet area and lots to see and do! Would love to go over the aqueduct my friend have been over in a narrow boat and said was an amazing experience Looks like you had a lovely stay all the best Daniel
Great vlog as usual. Looks like another beautiful club site. Being a traditionalist, I am not sure about these screens on the entrance. It’s all so impersonal and cold. A warm welcome from a friendly local warden is far better in my humble opinion. That’s progress and I know I am grumpy 😂 Your walk was very pleasant with aqueduct, viaduct and tunnel 😀 Great to see Alison and her pups. Enjoyed the little cycle ride around the park. Very exciting last minute extension to your tour. Better take mum some Welsh and Scottish cookies when you go home 😉 😂 Safe journey north and looking forward to more about the local viaduct in your next video 👍🏻🚐 💙 Trev
If you don’t have to go home I don’t blame you extending your holiday. Sometimes it’s more fun just going on an adventure but it takes a little luck and patience to get on a site.
I do hope it will still be possible to pick up site maps. As a solo traveler I can’t look at my phone when trying to find a pitch but can stop to glance at a paper map at each junction
Hi Bob, apologies if you have covered this in a previous video but can you tell me what make and model electric bike you use in this and other videos? I am looking at a lightweight bike for my wife to get to and from work on, she currently has a Pendleton electric bike but it is quite heavy Tia Steve
Some of the best times are made by extending holiday plans. Can't wait!Thank you Bob,Jenny,Poppy and Tara.

That's a lovely park Bob.we usually stay in Bluebell Dell.enjoy your extended break.
Another fab video. I’ve been on that aqueduct, not very good with heights😂 you both look so cosy in the awning. Looks nice and warm.
We have visited Chirk many times and really enjoy the area. Enjoy the rest of your holiday 🚐 🐾
Thank you, I will
I would just like to thank you for being so good at you tube and never letting us down on your vlogs
Thank you so much, very nice of you to say. 😊

Nice video again. An interesting site. Glad to see the bike tour. Thank you.

Thanks, the other trouble with fast check-in, you don't get a map.
We live just up the road. We passed you the other day! 😂Lovely vlog.
Hi bob. Well we got to Belfast after 3 days ,we move down to delemont site Downpatrick. Watched your blog about it looks nice and quiet
Yes, there are some nice walks at Delamont.
If you don’t have to go home I don’t blame you extending your holiday. Sometimes it’s more fun just going on an adventure but it takes a little luck and patience to get on a site.
Your only as mile from me enjoy yourself nice pub called the bridge in chirk bank or the poachers pocket further down
We went to the Poachers Inn, if that's the same place?
I can’t walk over that bridge if you carry on down the path to next bridge that’s where I am I walk down that tow path all the time
It's not, Baahhh laaah... It's Ba La 😂
Thank you. Jenny says baaath I tend to say Bath.
Towpath only runs on the hand rail side
Yes, it would be really dangerous to walk the other side. 😬
I do hope it will still be possible to pick up site maps. As a solo traveler I can’t look at my phone when trying to find a pitch but can stop to glance at a paper map at each junction
I assume you can still ask at reception for a map.
Hi Bob , hope your ok , dunno if its just me but you seemed to have lost weight
Yes, I'm on a pre-duabetic course and I'm happy to have lost 18kg.
